How to move a jpg in Finder onto a Photo folder on iPhone?

Does anyone know how to do this? I'm lost between iPhoto, iTunes, and Finder. All these windows look the same to me. What buttons do I click? What do I select on and where do I drag it?

Are you trying to import photos to a specific folder on the iPhone or just get the photos on iPhone.
The standard way to do this would be to create a new Album in iPhoto and drag the photos you want to import into the Album. Connect your iPhone to the computer/ Open iTunes/ Select your iPhone in iTunes Sidebar/ Navigate to the Photo Menu/ Select the Album you created/ Click Apply or Sync.

You can use that app without iCloud and you don't need a new iPhone.

You're not signed into iCloud then.
Go to System Preferences>iCloud and sign in, switch on any services you want to use. Your contacts will show up in Contacts and your appointments will be in Calendar. Enter new contacts/events etc in the respective app.
Backup any content currently in Contacts and Calendars.

If you allow iPhoto or Image Capture to delete the imported photos from your iPhone, it will delete all photos you imported on the iPhone, also the favorites. And when you import, the "Favorite" tag will not be transferred. iPhoto only imports the original image file.

You will probably find your "Favorites" among the photos in your "Last Import" album in iPhoto's source list.

On the photo, click on Edit, the third icon at the bottom has a red circle with a slash over it, that's the red-eye fix. Touch that and it will fix all red eyes automatically or make you touch the red eyes and then fix them for you. Not perfect, but a great help. Now, I find that the fixes do not carry over when I save the photos in my computer. Hope to find an answer for that.

ITunes - How to keep it from importing vidoes from my photo folder

Just got a 30g Ipod the other day and love it!
I do have a quick question though, when I started ITunes, it pulled all the videos out of my "My Photo" folder and they are now showing in the Movie folder in ITunes.
These are vidoes taken with my camera and I do not want them included in the movie folder as the large number of them is making it hard to use ITunes.
Can I delete them out of ITunes window? I dont want to actually delete the file, I just want to exclude that folder from ITunes looking for movies/videos.

Ok. I exported the playlist from my PC to my Mac. Here's what happened. The playlist came over but the dates reverted to the dates of the songs that were on the Mac. It only retained the order. I can live with that, but I will never be able to sort it correctly and when I want to add music to this list, I will have to manually drag the songs from the bottom of the list to the top. Its not the best solution, but it works for now. In the future, Apple should consider preserving the date added or purchased info and transfer that along with the library.

How do I also specify that the file names must begin with a specific text string (e.g. "journal.").

How to move an email from one mailbox to a folder in my icloud mailbox

My ipad has 3mailbox and am trying to move an email i have just recieved from one of my mailbox to my icloud folder on my icloud mailbox.when i check on the email then click on edit,move, select mailbox(icloud) then choose the folder to move.when i click on the folder my mail application just closes and wheni re open it the mail which i was moving it its just there on the same mailboz.any ideas to solve this.

If you have DCOM errors in the System Event Log that reference StiSvc, then make sure the Windows Image Acquisition (WIA) service is set to Manual or Automatic, instead of Disabled.

How can I get Aperture to find my lost Photos?

In a nutshell... I'm on my 3rd iMac (2 in the last 2 months have crashed) and it has data migrated from various backups (some corrupt!), so I have a fresh iMac, with a lump of data located in various places.
Now... Opening Aperture, all my old librarys give me a message along the lines of:
Consistencies dected, please repair.
OK. No matter what I do (repair, rebuild etc), nothing seems to get rid of the message, so I decided to grab what I can and export it to a NEW library.
This works fine now (as far as I can tell).
I have 3 libraries, the next one I came to - it only displayed 10ish photos in total. The rest of the photos were APPARENT however you can't view them - just a grey outline and the photo name - as the master is offline. I presume this stems from the data being moved around everywhere?
Now, SOME images show a grey outline, however when you double click on them - you can see them!
I understand why this has happened, due to the 3 or 4 times data has been moved about etc, but is there a way to get Aperture to find the images again? Without having to go through every single photo and re-import it. I also don't want to have to do ALL the adjustments again!
I've tried reprocessing/generating previews etc, but nothing.

Daniel, that looks like your Aperture Libraries are referenced libraries. When you imported your images into Aperture originally, did you select to store the images inside the Aperture library or in their original location?
If your library is referenced, then it is straight forward what needs to be done: You need to reconnect your edited image versions in the Aperture Library to the master image files. Do you know where the master image files are stored? Have you restored these images from the backup as well?
If you know where these images are, then you do the following:
Open one of your Aperture libraries.
Select a set of images that need reconnecting in the browser.
Select File -> Locate referenced File from the main menu bar.
In the panel that opens select an image that need reconnecting in the upper part of the window.
In the lower part point Aperture to the location of the master image file.
Now the reconnect buttons should appear. Press "Reconnect all"
Repeat for all Libraries and other all projects.
