How to move Adobe X to new pc?

I lost my discs from my shrink-wrap purchase of Adobe X, but I need to move my Adobe X from this nearly dead pc to my new pc. Is there a place I can go in Acrobat X to get my user ID/user key so I can download to my new pc? Then I never need to use Acrobat again on my old pc, which I am sending to recycling/trash. Thanks.

Ok, how do you deactivate Photoshop in old computer?
Is it possible then to read in Photoshop with license code in to the new computer?
Is it so that when you have deactivated photoshop in old computer with internet access, it is possible to read in it on the new computer with internet access cause adobe then can see that Photoshop is not installed anywhere else?

How to move iTunes Library to new computer

I am selling my imac and getting a retina mbp, but the imac will be gone before I can get the new one. So, I need to move all my music from the imac onto an external hard drive to import later. How can I go about doing this? If possible I could just copy all mp3s into a folder on the external and then import it into itunes on new computer. Can I do this? What other ways are there/are they easier? Thanks.

How to move files after installing new hard drive

I am considering the installation of a new 80 or 100 GB hard drive. I purchased the new iLife 06 program but I do not have enough space to install on my present 60 GB unit. I only have 3 GB available. I've read all the posts involving the possible brands, downloaded the instructions how to swap out the units. My question is how to backup and install my files and applications so I may reinstall onto the new drive. Can I just copy my hard drive volume onto my external Lacie storage unit and then drag the volume back to the new hard drive after booting off my OS disk? Any advice on how to move my apps and files? Do I need to purchase cloning software?

The easiest way is buy an external firewire enclosure and put your new drive in it. Then format your new drive. then use Carbon Copy Cloner to copy your internal drive onto your new drive. Then install your new drive and put your old one in the enclosure. You are now in business with an external backup on your old drive.

THIS FAILED:
I created a new pfile.
Edited pfile changing old drive letter to new drive letter.
shutdown immediate
moved the E:oracle\flash_recovery_area\* to S:\oracle\flash_recovery_area\*
startup nomount;
create spfile from pfile;
shutdown immediate;
startup
Now I get ORA=38760 - This database instance failed to turn on flashback database;

1) First Turn off Flashback:
SQL> alter database flashback off;
Monitor alert log for messages regadring flashback:
Then s turn the flashback on again.
SQL> alter database flashback on;

There are multiple ways to get to the latest version of Adobe LiveCycle Designer 8.2. The note you referenced should be made obsolete.
This is the path I choose from the download center but there are different installations you could pick.

You DO realize that Adobe Reader is a free product and can be downloaded from the Adobe site, right?
And I suppose it's possible that you got version 8 on disk but that's not common. Are you sure it's Adobe Reader you have and not Adobe Acrobat?

How to move Win CC to new HD?

I have a Win 64 computer with a 120 G SSD drive which is now full. I have installed only a few CC apps along with Extension Manager, etc. (of course the drive is full of other programs)
I would like to move all CC apps to a new 2nd SSD drive (F:) within the same computer, and uninstall the current CC apps from my 120 G SSD (C:). BTW, I have an E: drive which is a HDD (2 T) for backup.
I assume I should uninstall all CC apps from the C:, and then re-install everything to the 2nd SSD drive.
How do I do this?

You can set a default install location in the CC App prefs. Uninstall the programs via the system control panel, then run the cleaner tool and reinstall after you changed the options. Just be aware that some stuff like shared components will still end up on C:\...

copy two of them out into the "root" folder, make a new folder with those two, and then start moving the others in that you want to put together.

I have many folders containing photos. There are located like this:
- photos 01
- photos 02
- photos 03
etc...
I want to move these folders under differernt folders. For instance, 2008 will contain all folders with photos from 2008. But now LR2 asks me to confirm the location of each folder! How can I have LR do a simple check into the new folder I give it to check if it contains other missing shoots?

In the Organizer you can switch to Folder Location View by clicking the Display button (near top right)
You can then expand he folder tree in the left hand pane and drag and drop.

How to move tags/albums to new computer - with a caveat

Sorry if this is a newbie question...
I have an old Computer A running Windows 7. All my photos are in the Windows Pictures folder.
In Photoshop I have created 2 albums with a subset of the photos from the Pictures folder. I have also created several new Tags for those photos.
I got a new Computer B running Windows 8 and will be getting rid of Computer A.
What I'd like to do is:
Move the albums + custom tags from Computer A to B retaining the information about photo tags and album content.
In the process change the location of all photos from Computer A Windows Pictures folder to an external HD.
I know how to export Album/Tag information from A (save to XML) and import on B (load from XML), but that doesn't retain the information about the files - both what files are in the album plus what tags are associated with the photos.
I could imagine that it is somehow fix things up on Computer A to store all information on the external HD, and then somehow point Computer B to this, but I am not sure how to best do this.
What's the best/recommended way of accomplishing this without having multiple copies of the photos lying around?

Photoshop has no albums so I assume you are talking about Photoshop Elements. You'd better ask there.
