My OP sys is win 8.1
I would like to consolidate all my games under GAMES. Right now if I sesrch for games
only 4-5 shows up but I have about 15. Could I move them under "GAMES"
I know how to move icon on the START page but on the apps page
(when I go from the START page to the apps page) so when I search/ask for, all games would show up
AGAIN I AM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE START DESK/PAGE
Please help a frustrated newbie. Thank you for yor help

Low On Space - How to Move Apps from phone to SD Card

Yes, I have a Pantech Breakout and I'm having a little problem with it, It shows under my Storage settings with Total Space stating 7.50GB, Available space 7.16GB and Internal space 42.19MB. Now when I go to my Storage settings under Application settings where All is highlighted is shows on bottom of phone Internal Storage 297MB used and 49MB free, when I select On SD Card it shows on bottom of phone 3.55MB used and 7.2GB free. My problem is this I recently downloaded an app right and after I downloaded the app I received a Message telling me this: Low on Space...Phone Storage is getting low please move applications from phone to SD card to secure enough space. Ok, I just don't know how to move applications from phone to SD card.

Clear the cache. Menu > settings > Applications > manage applications > all tab > menu button > sort by size
Go through each application one by one and press the "clear cache" button.
Uninstall any application you don't need on the phone. Sorry the pre-installed applications can't be removed.
If an application has an option "move to SD card" you can press it to move the app to the SD card. Be aware that any application with a widget stored on the SD card will not be able to use the widget.
I would also check the size of your email application and if large, deleted any old emails from the trash. An easy way is to remove the email account, reboot the phone and then add the account back onto the phone.
Text messages are another storage hog. I would suggest getting a SMS backup or full text message (SMS & MMS) backup application to backup your messages. Then you can safely delete your messages and clear up some space.

Apps can be used with only one account. You can sync to more than one iphone from that account, but the app will not transfer to another account.

In order to organize a bit the screens after installing several apps, how can we move them from one screen to the next?
I've found it possible to place them in the lower bar and then replace them into the required screen but that's very slow...
Any other way?
Also, is it possible to place the apps where we want and not get them automatically reorganized (blanks filled)?

Sorry I guess the correct terminology would be 'virtual desktops'.
You pass from one virtual desktop to another swiping left or right on the phone.
I would like to switch conveniently an app (icon) from one virtual desktop to another.

When you set up the new Mac, it will offer the opportunity to migrate all your old data from the other one.
Lots of people skip that step, but you can run it any time. Find the program called "Migration Assistant".
It is in the Utilities folder and contains instructions on how to connect the two. All your registration keys etc. will be copied.
Beware that Power PC apps will not run with Lion. This is important. If you don't know the implications of that then write back.
Migration Assistant might take a while to complete - several hours is not unusual.

Depends on which software it is: for example some old versions are not supported anymore on Snow Leopard.

I have three pages of Apps but pages 2 & 3 have only a few. How do I move the Apps & Folders on page 2 & 3 to page two?

I also talked to Apple Support. They told me to move a jiggling folder to the left edge. At first it didn't seem to work, but they said to hold it there. If you move it too far left, it will just bounce back. If you drag it to the left edge so half the folder is obscured and the other half is visible, and then HOLD it there for 3-4 seconds, it will move it to the next page. Good!

The block is a widget so you can long press it and drag it to the little trash that appears at the bottom of the screen if you want to remove it from the screen. Same thing with any of the app icons. To move the icons from one screen to another, just long press the icon and drag it to its new place. Hope that helps.
