How To Move Artist Heading To Far Left

I am wondering how I can move the "Artist" heading in iTunes to the far left. I have tried left clicking and this only lists the columns available. Currently I have the song name in the far left column and I would rather have the "Artist" column there. I have tried to drag the columns and it will let me move the Artist column farther right but not to the extreme left. Any help here?

With iTunes for Mac, you can drag this column to the left, but not the extreme left.
You can only drag it to the column immediately to the right of "name".
It won't go any further left.
Is this not the same for iTFW?

Is there a way to make the links to your other pages show up on the left hand side of the webpage instead of at the very top?
All the templates have the links at the very top, and when I try to move it on a blank page, it still stays above the text.
I would like to have the text be able to run all the way to the top with the links to the left.

You can do it by making your own text based nabvar like here: Text Based Navbar. At the bottom of that page shows how to take the iWeb navbar and make it vertical. However, I you add anything to the top of the page it will be in the header. Since I didn't actually publish the page I don't know how or if it will work after publishing. However the video shows how the built in navbar can be made vertical depending on how long each page link is.

How To Move Reload Button Back To Left Hand Side

I've been a Mac user for quite a few years. In fact my first Apple computer was a IIc. But I've found myself frustrated at the reload button move. In fact I've been pretty baffled at why the decision was made. I do find the suggestion of the using the key command useful. I've not used the reload function so much that I've ever considered memorizing the key command but I'm finding that the move is causing me some discomfort with the new Safari. It seems that most of my browsing is mouse based rather than keyboard based. On the subject of improvements, I'm not sure what they are, to be honest. Safari 4 might be slightly faster but it still has a tendency to quit spontaneously. And this is on a fresh install of the OS. I'm a bit baffled at this as well after all the time and resources that Apple has put into the Safari platform. Instead of Safari, for the past several years I've been using Camino as my main browser and except for a few sites that don't quite work right I've found it to be pretty good. It doesn't just quit on me like Safari. So, the idea that this friction is coming from PC switchers is, I think, a little unfounded. Maybe it's coming from people who are switching from other browsers that all have the buttons in roughly the same place? But beyond that, perhaps someone can lend some light on why they moved it in the first place? My logic tells me that the nuts and bolts browsing functions should be grouped together. Why not put the bookmark thingy on the right?

i'm left handed and i like the tool bar to be on the right.

Finder Dock - how to move from far left to center?

I like to have some things in the DOCK right in the center fo the Dock since I use DragThing most of the time; but the DOCK some of the time-- and one thing I want in the center is System Preferences - OK, got it; but the other is the FINDER - and that seems stuck on the far left - I can't move it nor can I put anything left of it (they just go up in a puff of smoke...)
Anyone know how to put the FINDER ICON in the DOCK in the middle-- or anyplace rather than far left (on a dock which is on the bottom of the screen)>

Kappy-- great to hear from you again! Well you're right-- but I did put the FINDER in the center of the Dock -- by sliding Finder.app from the CoreServices folder into the DOCK. OK but I don't get the nice "RELAUNCH" choice with opt-click&hold that I do with the OFFICIAL DOCK FINDER ICON stuck on the far left!
If ever a way to put this right in the middle next to where I keep System Preferences-- GREAT!

How to move talking person in video from center to far left

I am new to AE, and I have a green screen video that was done, that has a person centered in the video, talking about our website. Is there a way where I can move that person to the far left, which would leave open space where I can add various components?
The person talking is on an all white background. I hope that makes sense.

thanks for the fast response. cs5 remembered the window position. I like having the window in the middle as I have a 27" monitor. I just upgraded to cs6 yesterday and I'm sure it was remembering the window document position. I think. If i find out how to fix this, I'll post it here.
And while I'm on the subject of cs6, why the f*** did adobe combine the stroke and swatches pallettes? Now I forever have to click stroke and swatch tabs all day. And I love the army and navy file icons of photoshop and illustrator. I won't comment on Acrobat X. ; (

When output SSRS report to Excel, Plus sign was moved to the far left pane in Excel. How to fix it?

I've created a SSRS report and looks good inside Report Manager, See below . plus "+" is in the right place and
if I click it, it will expand.
However, when I output results into excel, it becomes this, notice those plus sign "+" have been shifted to the far left and they are
not line up with each month either... Is there any way to fix in the excel so that users could see exactly what they see in the Report Manger?

Microsoft Excel has limitations with how it manages hidden and displayed report items when they are exported. When we export a report to Microsoft Excel format, groups, rows, and columns that contain report items that can be toggled are rendered as Excel
outlines. Excel creates outlines that expand and collapse rows and columns across the entire row or column which can cause the collapse of report items that are not intended to be collapsed. This is by design. For more information about this, please see Show

I Had to reinstall iTunes. Now the column on the far left that showed my iPhone, setups, options and the like is missing. How do I turn it back on?

With the current version of iTunes the left-hand sidebar that you could get to show has been removed. Now when a device is connected you should get a device icon towards the top left of the iTunes screen next to the content type icons - click on that and you should get a list of categories down the left-hand side for the phone, one set selecting and syncing content from your computer's iTunes, and then a second set for showing what is currently on the phone.
Does that device icon show ?

How to move Left and Right audio components

At a performance, there was a delay between what my camera recorded from a soundboard on the left track and what it recorded from a shotgun mic on the right track.
I want to move each track (Right and Left) independent of each other using FCP 10.1.2
So far I have successfully changed the audio from Stereo to Dual Mono and I have Expanded Audio Components.
I am not able to move either track. No matter wether position or arrow is selected I looks like a range selection over the track and it will not move.
Any help would be greatly apreciated!

Yes, that screen shot of your Cam5 video and its right and left audio being staggered is exactly what Im trying to do. Im sorry I have not been able to describe this better.
It was the “Detach Audio” option that was giving the messy appearance.
This time I only made two adjustments done in the Timeline.
I followed these two steps:
1. I select the clip on the Timeline and chose “Expand audio components”
2. Then selected the video clip again and chose “Dual Mono”
Here is a screen shot of what it looks like now:
Just like before, I can manipulate the audio levels but when I attempt to drag either audio a box is drawn over the clip that looks like the “range select” tool. This happens when I have either arrow or position is selected. Nothing can be moved. I tried these two basic steps on my other computer using an older version of FCPX and get the same result.
The work around that I described above allowed me to finish this project by my deadline but this is still something I would like to learn since it’s a pretty basic function of FCP that I need to be able to do a lot.

Are you trying moving the file from Elements Organizer?
If yes, select the file, go to File menu and select Move. There you can choose the location where you want to move the files.

With multiple tabs open, and selecting a new (blank) tab, RoboForm open new web page in far left tab, not the new (blank) one. How to correct this?

Problem: Firefox Browser Tabs when using RoboForm
When using Tabs in the Firefox browser (with multiple Tabs already open), I (1) click to open a new (blank) tab and then, (2) click on RoboForm to go to a new website. Instead of the new website opening in the newly opened (blank) tab it opens in the first (far left) tab. This only began happening when I installed Firefox 5.0 and RoboForm Desktop v7.3.2 at the same time.
My system: HP Pavilion Media center, Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit, 8GB RAM, Firefox v5.0, Roboform Desktop v7.3.2

Thanks a lot. The culprit turned out to be Webmail Notifier. Unfortunately, there seems to be some problems on their end that the developer has not yet responded to, but something about the extension is screwing up tab functionality.
