How to move my DWCS3 sites to new Mac with DWCS5?

What is the procedure for moving my Dreamweaver CS3-generated sites to my new machine, running DW CS5? Is there some sort of import feature for such a thing?

I had to do this when my CS4 demo was about to run out.
I bought CS5 and before I installed, I loaded DWCS4, clicked Site > Manage Sites... then clicked export.
Loaded up CS5 clicked Site > Manage Sites...and clicked import, and selected my exported site files.
Not sure about CS3 since I am only 2 months old in web design world.

A device can only sync to one library at a time. You need to put a copy of the library on her computer.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the iTunes Library.itl file in the moved iTunes folder.

If you put it in the default location of Macintosh HD > Users > *User Name* > Music then you don't even need to start with the option key held down, iTunes will automatically look for it there. (Make sure there isn't anything already in the iTunes folder there that you want to keep since you will be replacing it with the one you are moving.)

Yes - to switch between them launch iPhoto while depressing the option (alt) key and use the select library option or use iPhoto Library Manager - http://www.fatcatsoftware.com/iplm/
There is no way to move just a project (book, calendar, etc) they are part of the library and can not be moved separately so the only way is to move the entire library (you can delete the unwanted parts - see Old Toad's Tutorial #9a - http://web.mac.com/toad.hall/OldToadsTutorials/No._9a.html )

I have a new iMac and an old MBP, I'd like to copy all of the data of my old MBP to the iMac.Would doing that affect the windows boot camp partition?
and how do I do it?
right now im backing everything up on my MBP using super duper
both the MBP and the iMac are running on Lion

I am assuming the Boot Camp partition is on the old MBP and that the SuperDuper clone is on an external drive and is bootable. The Super Duper clone does not include the Boot Camp Partition.
To get the Mac Data moved you can use Migration Assistant and if you want to transfer the Boot Camp partition you would need Winclone to move/copy it to a newly created Boot Camp partition on the iMac. The SD Clone ( and a Winclone backup) is your insurance policy if some kind of difficulty arises.

It's actually very simple. In your old AB under the file menu click "Export Address Book Archive to your desktop. Then using the new system log in to the old via network and move the file from the old to the new.

Hi,
The ideal scenario is that you don't notify a user - you notify a role instead. Roles don't get sick, get made redundant, retire, leave etc. etc. - however, it's easier said than done.
Although it's probably not supported, I can see no harm in doing a direct table update on WF_NOTIFICATIONS to modify the recipient role. However, I would question the logic of keeping old notifications in the system - if you run the standard purge routines (and you should be!), then that will clear out the old notifications automatically.
Additionally, I would be wary of reassigning old notifications - it would blow the audit trail completely if you move a closed notification between users (which is why there is no API for it). If Bill approved a purchase order for £1 million, and then left, I would expect (and need!) the history to shown exactly who did it, rather than a completely different user.
I'd be astounded if Oracle does anything with any enhancement requests for Workflow any more, even if they were for things that made sense.

How do I get my old printer "HP Laserjet 4mv" to work on my newer Macs with OSX?
There is no HP support for this old printer. I have tried to connect via ethernet (thru ethernet router), and it does not show up in printer preferences. The printer worked fine on system 9x but when I went to my new macs with system X no luck. This is a great B&W printer that prints at 18 x 24". I would like to keep it and not junk it, but its been sitting on my desk unused for some time now. Any thoughts or JUNK IT! Thanks, R.T.

Does anyone at Apple have help for this sort of question - I too have an old printer (HP LaserJet 5MP) that I would like to keep using on my Mac. (Mac OSX 10.6.8).
I got it working by getting a USB cord that connects to it - but every once in a while it just stops working for weeks. The mac 'sees' it and it sends the data because the printer lights start blinking but then it just doesn't do anything. Is there no one who can tell me (and raterada) how to get some new life into these old printers. I would rather not add this (and a new toner cart) to the landfill just yet. . .

Are you on CC or standalone perpetual licence?
If the former I believe you merely download LR from the CC site onto your iMac and log in and off you go.
If the latter, download LR onto your Mac from the perpetual licence site (not the CC version), install it and use the same licence number as with your PC.
