How to move my events and pictures from mobileme

I just reinstalled the mac osx from scratch and also installed the applications dvd,including iphoto.After syncing with my mobileme account and launching iphoto ,i can see all the event names on the left side bar under the "MOBILEME GALLERY "and when i click on any of them ,after seeing the mobileme turning wheel ,the photos of that perticular event appear on the right side and then the cloud icon shows next to that event name again,but after that transaction takes place for each single event,when i click on the "LIBRARY" events or photos ,nothing appears on the right side.
My question is ,when we sync with our mobile me gallery ,aren't we supposed to get our photos back to the computer's library automatically?
and if not ,how do we get the photos and iphotos library and events back to a freshly installed operating system.

No - you need to drag the photos for the MoblieMe galleries to the library
and if not ,how do we get the photos and iphotos library and events back to a freshly installed operating system.
The best way would be to load the backup you made just before erasing your drive and installing OS X

How to move the mirrlogA and mirrlogB from C drive to D drive

Hi experts,
I Need to move the mirrlogA and mirrlogB directories from C drive to D drive do i need to make any modifications to the configuration files.
i can only this line in intDEV.ora file.but i can see the directories in C drive mirrlogA and mirrlogB but i cant find the entries in initDev.ora abt the C drive.
"control_files = (D:\oracle\DEV\origlogA\cntrl\cntlrDEV.dbf, D:\oracle\DEV\origlogB\cntrl\cntrlDEV.dbf, D:\oracle\DEV\sapdata1\cntrl\cntrlDEV.dbf)"
Can you suggest me how to move them and how to restart the system with out errors.

If you do not modify any oracle "settings" .. you have to do 2 things.
1) Change the entry in the pfile / spfile for the control files
2) Rename the redo log files to the new location with the ALTER DATABASE RENAME command after you have shutdown your database

I would like to purchase more videos and music from apple store, however i dont have enough storage space left, i purchased more storage for icloud back up, now i am having hard time to move files of movies, photos and music to icloud back up storage and i still can not buy more movies or music. iCloud doesn't store movies or music. It only allows you to redownload purchases from the iTunes store if you ever lose them (assuming they are still available to redownload, and in the case of movies, that the studio permits it.) Also iCloud only stores your camera roll photos in your backup, which can only be accessed by restoring your iPad to the entire backup.
iCloud isn't designed to do what you are trying to do. iCloud is for syncing data across all your devices and for backing up your devices, not storing your data. You use iTunes on your computer for that. iTunes will add your purchased videos and music to your iTunes library so you can remove it from your iPad and add it back later if you want. To save your photos you import them to your computer (and then delete them from your iPad if you want) as described in this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.

How to put current music and pictures from my Iphone to a new Ipad?

Hi this is my first question!
I am about to recieve a new iPad mini. I currently have an iPhone 4s and I want to transfer all my pictures and music over to the new device. I have just backed up my phone so that all latest files are on my PC. I have tried iCloud but this is out because my internet is too rubish.
So what should I do?
1. if i set the iPad up using the iTunes backup, everything will go on to the iPad that I have on the phone including the apps, which im not bothered about because I will be using less apps than before.
2. If I set it up as a new iPad, can I connect it to my PC and get my music and pictures/videos over to the device without everything else.
I know this sounds confusing but I don't know what to do, I asked in the Apple store and they didn't seem to know either,

You can restore the iPhone's backup onto the iPad, but that won't include the contents of the Music app nor the photos if they were originally synced from a computer (if they were taken with the phone they should be included) - restoring a backup onto a diferrent device also won't copy passwords (router, email, website) so you will need to re-enter them on the iPad. You can copy your iTunes purchases (including apps and music) from the iPhone to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases on iTunes 11) - if you do decide t backup/restore then you will need all of the iPhone's apps on your computer's iTunes as the backup only contains their content and settings, and not the apps themselves.
If you set it up as a new iPad then as long as the music and apps are on your computer's iTunes then you can sync them over to it. iTunes will remember you sync preferences for each device, so you can sync more than one device to it without them affecting each other.
You can copy the photos and videos that you've take with the phone to your computer : photos to a computer.
And you can then sync them to the iPad : syncing photos.

How do I delete videos and pictures from the iphone folder called "phone"?

If I go to albums in the pictures app I have a folder called "phone". I want to clear up some space and delete pictures and videos from there, but there is no option "delete". These pictures are not in the icloud, but seem to be stored on the phone itself. I tried to access this folder through itunes and iphoto, but still n possibility to delete them. is there any way to delete those without flattening the whole thing?

It is synced you have to have the computer to do it.

My old laptop crashed, how do I get music and pictures from ipod touch (2nd generation) to new laptop?

My old laptop crashed. I bought a new one, but when I loaded itunes and plugged in my ipad 2, it only added the songs that were purchased in the itunes store. I upgraded my os to 5.0 and it deleted all of my songs, a lot of my apps, and all of my pictures except for the ones on the camera roll. I have these pictures and songs on my itouch 2nd generation but I can't get it to synch with the new computer. All of the solutions I have seen online don't work. I can't upgrade to the newest operating system because it is only 2nd generation. I tried turning on Home sharing and saving to the cloud, but I can't get it to work on the itouch. Please help!

I don't have a backup copy of my old computer. I bought an external hard drive and it said it backed up, but when I plugged it into my new computer, it was empty. My old computer is not accessible. The test system was built by TestStand, now there is a new requirement to filter the test report without change the sequence file. The task must be done without any impact to previous software system, so I decide to write a tool by VC++.
My idea is to deal with the reports after every UUT loop, but I need to monitor the UUT loop status by VC++, if an unit is tested, pass or fail, raise a event and pass to VC++ application. In a word, I would like to access TestStand internal event and variables.
Anyone has ideal on this case? ActiveX or something.

While sharing variables via COM or DCOM is certaintly possible, I don't think you need to go down that route. I think that there is probably an easier way to limit your report. In your Configuration menu, under the Report Options item, there is a field at the top that will allow you to filter what steps go into your report.
This will not affect any sequence file you may have already created, all it does is change a few options in the ReportOptions.ini file in the <TestStand>\cfg directory.
This is a much simpler option than trying to write a program to interface with a running TestStand engine.

How can I retrieve music and pictures from my Apple Tv?

I had thousands of picture, music and movie files on my Macbook Pro, which was synced to my Apple TV. I have since lost that Macbook Pro along with all the files on it. I bought a new Macbook Pro, but want to see if there is a way of getting all the old files from the Apple TV and putting them on my new Mac. I'd prefer not to pick apart the Apple TV to get to the hard drive. Is there any app or simple way to transfer files through Wifi, like a reverse home sharing? If there isn't there should be.

I assume this is a 1st gen and not the newer models (black box). In any case it is not meant to be used as a storage device and thus no easy way to retrieve

I have some of these things in a USB but when I try to move them to where I think they are supposed to be they are not the same like with documents it just tells me it came from a Hewlett Packard and when the last time I used it was, favorites doesn't even have a place in my Mac, and downloads also doesn't have a place in my Mac. Also some of the files are lnk files so it would be nice to know how to fix that.

Our development and the quality share the same SLD so i didnt have to do anything. I am upgrading from an XP PC to a new Vista PC and would like to know where I can find instructions on what I should do to transfer my iTunes library and my iPod to the new computer. Thanks for any help.

I purchased Copy/Tran and, as you described, it was awesome in transferring all 2538 songs to the new computer.
The only problem remaining is that even though it transferred all songs including the 83 that I had purchased from iTunes, when I synced my iPod with the new computer's iTune library, I got a message saying it could not put the purchased songs on the iPod because they were "not authorized".
Any suggestions on what to do about that?

Go to Administrator->Manage Presentation Catalg->Click on Group folder under which the dashboard and reports are present
1)Create one folder and copy the reports which are present in the dashboard pages you want(reports will be under some specific folder,open and copy one after the other to the newly created folder).Do this if you want other set of same reports for new dashboard that you are creating
2)Click on _portal and create a new folder(new dashboard)
3)Click on dashboad that is to be copied
4)copy the pages one after the other into new dashboard folder
If you are not keeping new set of reports then no need to point reports in pages,if reports are placed under new folder then go to each page and pull those reports from newly created folder.
