How to move solution to new tenant home ?

I have a tenant that is scheduled to be decommissioned.
I have copied it to the new TEST tenant and tried to continue my work there.  However there are some components I cannot edit  (BAC), as it still knows the original "home" is the outgoing tenant.
So the basic question: how to move the solution to the new tenant "home"  so the solution belongs to the new tenant as the development source ?   (BTW, I have not deployed yet, so it's still the original solution, not a patch).
Thanks ahead.

Tim,
I can't really answer the question, but i think i ran into something like this in the past.
I expect you went to "Implementation Manager" in the original Test Tenant, and did "Download A Copy"
You then logged into the new Test Tenant and did "Upload" of the copy that you had downloaded from the original Test Tenant.
What is the Status of your Project in the new Test Tenant? Where you see Solution_Name (SolutionStatus) within the "Project Explorer", does it actually still say "In Development" in the new Test Tenant? I seem to recall when i did this process, it changed the status to something that wasn't "In Development"

  • New computer ?? on how to move library to new computer

I have done a search and followed some directions regarding this. But I'm a complete dummy when it comes to this. I'm hoping for some gently advice :-))
I have a new computer and want to move all my itunes to the new computer since it is faster. My new computer has Vista on it. I have read thru some searches regarding this, and this is what I've done so far.
I have made the new computer authorized under my account. And when I did that my music library did load on the new computer. None of my videos or movies moved to the new computer, is this supposed to be the case?? Also, when the music showed on the new computer, it did not show under the different playlist names that I have. Just the entire library. How do I get the new itunes to look like it does on the old computer (breaking down all the different playlists we have). We have 3 different ipods and different list for different family members.
I would appreciate any help..but please keep in mind. I really need an itunes
for dummy book! LOL Thanks in advance

I agree with that last statement, there does need to be an iTunes for Dummy's book. I could use it myself. Anyways...
To put your videos back in iTunes, you'll have to copy them from your old computer to the new one. Copy them onto a flash drive, and put them on the new PC. Then select: File/ Add File (Folder) to Library, and pick the File you want to add (folder of stuff you want to add).
You'll have to re-make the playlists yourself, sorry. Were they "Smart Playlists"? Because there is an option for these in the file menu. If your syncing iPods, watch out. Vista doesn't like iPods much. I've been having massive trouble putting mysic on my new Classic, and before that, updating my 30 GB Video. Good luck to you, and your family.

  • How to move CPS to new server?

Can anyone provide any guidance on migrating a current CPS installation to a new server?  I tried doing a new install, copying over directory structure, and renaming the server, but that was a disaster.  I have reverted, but I really need some help on figuring out how to migrate to a new server while keeping all the roles, users, and settings.

  • How do we get the NEW BT Home Hub 3?

    Hi guys,
Those who may not know, the BT Home Hub 3 was released yesterday (29th January).
Does anyone know how fellow customers can get the new Home Hub?
Is there a service whereby you can swap your existing homehub 2.0 for the new one or would we have to renew our contracts?
    Thanks for your answers
Like this post? Give it a Star . If this post answers your question, please Mark it as the Accepted Solution.

Its suposed to be adsl and vdsl compatible but BT probably have a mountain of 2,s they want to use first however their adverts for adsl currently do show the hub 3 image so I would pester them for it
If any post helps tick the star box on the left
Just cause Im paranoid dont mean they are not out to get me

  • How to Move Masters to New Hard Drive?

First, like many of you, my computer is nearly 95% photos taken. This is how I've operated in years past: Did shoot, dumped on Aperture. When the computer got full I moved everything over to an external hard drive even though the respective Aperture libraries did not link up with the photos anymore. Now, that I am selling stock, I need to have full access to all my images, so I can upload and sell them.
I moved my library over to my new 1-terabyte hard drive, but my images are still coming from my "pictures" section on my main computer drive. When I tried tried to Aperture: File: Relocate Masters, the computer started consolidating the images and telling me there was no longer a link to some previewed images. Remember, I moved many images from 2007-2009 to external hard drives. (I'm sure compared to many of you; I'm an unorganized mess.)
So, my questions are: How do I get my photos from my main drive to my new hard drive? And, can I delete the raw files taking up 95% of my computer space that are stored at "pictures" after I move them? And, how can I link my previews back to the images I moved to external hard drives?
    Thanks in advance!

If you have a mess, I would recommend that you let Aperture do the heavy lifting for you. (With thanks to Rob Boyer for this suggestion.)
ASSUMPTION: You do not have enough room on your internal HD to simply run a Managed Library and still have about 25% free space and you must therefore use Referenced Masters.
ASSUMPTION TWO: You know the arrangement that you would like to have.
Step .5: Backup everything. I recommend cloning your entire system. You want a safety blanket in case you make a mistake. Take the clone off line, unplug it, keep it safe.
Step One: Set up the arrangement of Folders and Projects that you want in Aperture. You don't have to worry about all of the albums you may want, just your bottom line, basic stucture.
Step Two: Opening one Project at a time, consolidate all of the Masters for a given Project into your Library. Move, don't copy.
Step Three: Still working one Project at a time, Relocate the Masters to a Library folder(s) located whereever you wish. Work slowly, setting up some simple structure that you understand. Again, move, don't copy. N.B. You are doing all of this using Aperture's commands, not/not using the Finder. Sub note, you have the option of renaming your files, should you wish.
Step Four: Using the Finder, check your work. The master files should have disappeared from their original location and now appear in your new Libarary folder(s).
Step Five: If all is well, move to the next Project. If any links are broken, fix them as you go. If all else fails, delete the Versions in Aperture (being careful NOT to delete any any Referenced Masters) and reimport into the correct Project.
    Again:
-- Organize the images in Aperture
-- Consolidate the images (move) into the Aperture Library.
-- Relocate (not Export) the Masters out to the pristine folder/file structure of your choice.
N.B. Never, ever, on pain of Aperture death, move or change your Referenced Masters. (You can let other programs READ them.)
    Hope this is helpful.

I installed itunes 7.2 and then I go to the edit preferences and change the music folder to f;//my music son itunes gets the music from my external hard drive.

I do the same thing as you do...
My music is on an external drive as to not use up gigabytes of storage that need not be used for media.
There are a couple basic principles to iTunes that I believe you should know.
    1. iTunes is not a media storage program. It does not store your media "in iTunes". It simply is an organization tool for your media already on a hard disk.
    2. As iTunes is not a storage mechanism, it has no way to "know" whether or not the media that is listed is actually there. This is where the "design" of iTunes comes into play.
I like to think of iTunes as a bread-crumb trail. The "music" in iTunes, isn't actually there. The bread crumb is the location on the external hard drive.
If that bread crumb trail disappears (in this case the external drive you use). If said external drive is not plugged in, that bread crumb trail is not able to be followed. iTunes is "lost" and unable to find the media. The only way to remedy this is to place the media on your local drive.
To address your issue of the library. If you hold down shift, you can select your library on your external drive. It will be a file with an .itl extension. The folder name will be your external drive.
I go into edit > preferences > advanced and set my library to the correct location. Make sure you check the box "Copy to iTunes Folder when importing" (or whatever it says).
You can't fix the issue of iTunes not seeing the media if your drive is unplugged unless you physically move the content to your OS HDD...Or any other HDD you use.

  • How to Move Catalog to New Drive?

I have an 8,000 file, PSE 10 catalog on my current Windows 7 PC. The vast majority of the files are in
    C:\Projects
    C:\Photos
    C:\Users\Will\My Pictures
    and sub-folders within.
My new Windows 8.1 PC has a modest SSD for the boot drive, so data is stored on D:. I want to move my catalog in such a way that the files end up in exactly the same place, but on the D: drive instead.
To be clear, I want the file
    C:\Photos\Adobe\Digital Camera Photos\2011 03 21\DSC_5337.JPG
    to end up in
    D:\Photos\Adobe\Digital Camera Photos\2011 03 21\DSC_5337.JPG
I backed up the catalog from the old PC and tried to restore by specifying D: as the new location. The result was that the file above ended up at
    D:\Adobe\Digital Camera Photos\2011 03 21\DSC_5337.JPG
In other words, everything migrated to the root. (It was quite a mess, actually.)
Is there a way to restore a catalog in the manner I require?
    Thanks.
    Will

I understand that I can use Folders view as you describe. But I see that I may not have explained the severity of the restore problem I had.
Every single folder in \Photos ended up in the root and \Photos itself was not present. I ended up with hundreds of folders in the root of D:.
Theoretically, if it had been possible to create three backup images, one each for Photos, Projects, and My Documents, then specifying D:\Photos (etc.) as my new target would have worked. My situation is that I have three different sources of files and I can't see a way to tell the restore process to put the files in exactly the same places except using a different drive letter.
Thanks for taking a moment to think about this. I appreciate it.

  • How to move ringtones to new phone?

I recently got an iPhone 5S, but did not move my ringtones at the time of purchase. I still have them on my Windows laptop, but cannot figure out a way to get them on the new phone. I pushed them up to the iCloud, I added them to iTunes (on my laptop), but don't "see" them on my phone.
What's the process? I realize this is probably pretty easy, but Google and other searches have not revealed the answer. Perhaps I am phrasing the question wrong.
Any help is appreciated. I am NOT a macophile. Though I've had an iPhone for several years, I've not become exactly proficient (I remember that the original creation and use of these family-specific ringtones was a struggle, which I'm trying to avoid re-engaging). Thanks

You need to sync via iTunes - connect the phone and then rather than being under music, they will be stored under Tones, so just click on Tones and sync and then you will see you ring tones and just sync that and they will appear on the phone.

  • How to move license to new PC?

hi, I had Captivate 6 in a PC which is now broken, so I can not deactivate license there.
How can I install captivate again in the new computer?
    thanks

    Hi there,
To deactivate a Captivate license from one computer, you need to launch Captivate, then go to Help > Deactivate.
If that computer crashed and you did not get any chance to deactivate the software, then please write an e-mail under my attention on: [email protected] with Captivate 6 serial number.
    Thanks.

  • How to move MACOS to new drive?

How do I upgrade to a new drive - MACOS Lion installed?

    Exactly how Niel says.
Make sure you erase/format your new hard drive using disk utility.
Format it as MAC OS Extended Journaled then proceed to clone it using carbon copy.
Once done, install your new drive in your macbook and use your old drive as a back up drive.

  • How to move everything to new mac?

I have just bought a new mac and am wondering if there is a way that I can move all of the info on my old mac's ical to the new one.
I don't relish the thought of having to do it all manually?
    Thanks for your help

    Aisling Doherty,
It should be very easy. I assume that you are using Tiger on your current iMac. In that case, just use iCal>File>Back up Database..., and transfer the .icbu file which is created to your new Mac. Then open the iCal application on your new Mac and select the .icbu file by using iCal>File>Import...>Import...
    ;~)

  • How to move music to new HDD

I added a new HDD on my Dell studio xps desktop.  I moved my itunes folder to the new drive.  Now when I start itunes it sets up a new itunes folder in the c: drive.  I went into advance and said the path is now on the k: drive.  But itunes doesn't see all my content.
    Very frustrated.
    Barbara

Launch iTunes with the Shift key held down, click on Choose Library, and point it to that drive.
