How to Move the stock from restriced stock to unrestricted stock

hi all,
I have issue with blocking and unblocking stocks for sales documents.
Let me explain the issue by taking an example for which i consider the following data
Material : x
available qty :100
Scenario
when we create a quotation for material "X" for 10 qty, then the system will reserve or block that 10 qty against100 qty for that quotation,where the total qty will show as 100qty, but logically only 90 will be available for other users.
When we create sales order with reference to quotation, Suppose if we deliver and PGI the 6 qty out of 10 qty, which was a ordered qty , then the available qty is reduced to 94 qty. but after 90 days of sales order creation or quotation creation. the left over qty with this quotation or sales order have to be pushed back to avialable qty.
Means the 4 qty which is not delivered in this sales cycle and aged 90 days from the creation date has to be pushed back to available qty. then the system will allow other users to use this 4 qty which is blocked for this quotation/sales order .
Please help me with transaction code and steps to fix this issue.

in 344 movement type for unrestricted to blocked,
movement of unrestricted to restricted
Both are same, shall i use it in MB1B,
Becaues stock has been received through Return sales order,
they want to move this unrestricted to restricted.

Hi ,
if you use keyword MOVE u may loose the decimal and thoussan separator and if u don't want to loose them just call the FM ..HRCM_STRING_AMOUNT_CONVERT.
i doubt wherther it is HRCM or HCRM just try using *
this will suit ur requirement.

Yeah, i've been playing around a bit with Notifications, and not being able to move there location is very annoying. The default location normally means it is covering one or more tabs in Safari (or any tabbed application for that matter). Might have to try Growl again.

If the drag & drop functionality is enabled you can drag the catalog and drop it in another InfoArea just as you do with files on your PC.
The other procedure is Use the right mouse button to create an InfoObject catalog in the InfoArea. If you want to make a copy of an existing InfoObject catalog, specify a reference InfoObject catalog.

Both way you can do.. Difference is - if you copy paste to another folder script dependencies will not move with the same( ie Assets added), whereas if you export and import the script all dependencies will be correlated automatically

Here is an easy way to move your messages from Phone Memory to Memory Card or from Memory Card to Phone memory In Nokia models.
1- Install latest version of Nokia PC Suite and connect your set.
2- Open Nokia Communication Centre. (Select Phone Memory or Memory Card from which you want to move messages to other memory)
3- Select all messages in a single folder (Inbox/Sent Items or from My Folders) and click on file> export. This will create *.csv file.
4- Download NBU Explorer 1.8 from http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/nokia-nbuexplorer/ (You must have installed Windows Installer 3.1 and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 to run NBU Explorer. You can easily download these from Microsoft Site,)
5- Open *.csv file in NBU Explorer and click File > Export All. (Your all messages will be exported as *.vmg files.)
6- Disconnect and connect your phone again in Nokia PC Suite.
7- Now set your target memory in your phone for messages.
8- Open Communication Centre and Select your desired folder then click on file > Import messages by selecting multiple messages *.vmg files. (You don’t have to import messages one by one but you can import all messages in a single folder at once)
9- And you have done it.
10- You can import *.csv list in Nokia PC Suite rather *.vmg files, but in this case, all the spaces (blank spaces) in your messages will be lost. All the text of your messages will be merged to a single line. So exporting via NBU Explorer is recommended.

How to move the script from one env to another

I have a database where i have two schemas.
1)Owner and 2) User . User schema contains all synonyms for the objects present in Owner schema and the application will connect to user schema only.
Now i have 2 script files 1) create tables in the owner + giving grant access for user 2 ) create synonyms for objects in the owner
I have to move the code from Dev environment to QA . For QA i dont have privileges hence have to give the script file to DBA to run it
My DBA says....give the scripts through clearcase. only 2 script files should be there and environment information should not be hardcoded. i.e
for statements in the script file like : grant access for <table_name> to USERSCHEMANAME and create synonym <table_name_alisa> for OWNERschemaNAME.table_name
how do i give the scripts to my DBA with out hardcodiing. How do you have this code movement in your project ?
Should i use any placeholder for OWNERNAME ( environment spefcific informationn) and should ask them to replace it by the corresponding env name while executing
What should i do?

Use a variable for schema names or create public synonyms.
And document how the DBA should implement your changes.
Your DBA should have his own "su'ish"/ "@ conn.sql'-ish" scripts for that.
Passwords can be reset runtime temporarily, and set back after the implementation completed successfully.

How to move the photos from my boot drive to a newly installed hard drive?

- regarding iPhoto's storage, etc.... Where is the iPhoto library located anyway? And - how to transfer it to the brand new hard drive?
I want to add a ned hard drive just to keep the media there, so I would like to transfer all the GBs worth of photos (the whole iPhoto library or - what folder, really?).
What do I need to do in order to accomplish this task?, and assuming that there is no problem moving all the photos (as I understand it would mean Originals, Modified & Data) - can I then just delete the original iPhoto Library (but from where?) somewhere on my boot drive?
Basically - I want to move all the photos from my boot drive to the newly installed hard drive, and after a successful move, I'd like to delete all the same photos from its original location (the boot drive).

One addition to Larry's steps: make sure the external drive is formatted OS X Extended (journaled) and have it set to ignore ownership as seen here:
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard.

How to move the OS from main drive to new ssd in opticals place

Ok I just took out the dvd player that was non operational for 2 years . Replaced it with a new 250Gig SSD. Now I would like to boot my mac off this drive instead of the almost full 500 gig hdd. Can this be done ? If so how do I do this ? Get the OS(yosemite) from the main drive (hdd) to the new drive (ssd) which is suppose to be a lot faster on boot than a hdd , correct or not? Please advise if this is possible and if so how to migrate the OS to the ssd...

You could probably use a clone utility to copy a bootable system to the new SSD,
but not sure if you shouldn't use Carbon Copy Cloner (said to be able to copy
the Recovery partition content, too?) instead of SuperDuper. The extra feature is
worth checking into, to see if either or both can do this. Also to see if you have to
pay to get the fully working version.
With the content initially installed into the original HDD, moved over (copy/clone)
into the SSD, then you can test it to see if it would work to run the computer. But
you would need to have that additional partition that allows you to boot Recovery
to use the OS X Utilities and also be able to restore a system via internet, etc.
About the RAM upgrade. The model(s) you say you have, a Mid 2009-2010, are
two different ones. The Mid-2009 cannot be upgraded to 16GB RAM, while the
Mid-2010 model can use two 8GB RAM chips for 16GB upgrade. So, if you can
correctly identify the computer you have, then the answer may be found. OR,
you could go to crucial.com site and let it load the simple item so it can tell you
what the upgrade RAM should be, and match your computer to their RAM part.
Of course, their part uses an industry standard for Mac, of high quality; another
source of quality RAM would be from OWC macsales.com.
Both of these different questions have an answer, but will require some tedium
to get the correct information, method, and hopefully a workable resolution...

During migration CMS won't be available.
Could you plesae tell what are the different options are there to move the WebDynpro changes from (NWDS) Development to Quality system and then production system without using CMS server?
If i will create a development package and import this packgae in Quality package will my new changes also be available in Quality server?

I wasn't completely sure, but from your description of your problem, it seemed like you would have access to your DTR during your upgrade. The following solution assumes as much. If this is not the case, you'll need to do things slightly differently, but the solution will still be possible.
Depending on the scope and size of your changes, it may be practical for your developers to deploy directly from their NetWeaver Developer Studio (or for a designated administrator to install the NWDS and do the same). To do so, from the Development Configurations perspective, create a new NWDS project for each of the DCs you want to deploy. Then right-click the project and choose from one of the deployment options. (Deploy new archive and run will allow you to see if your deployment has taken effect.) When deploying, the target server is the one set up as your J2EE engine in the NWDS properties - you'll consequently have to modify this when the target server for your deployment changes (from QA to production, or vice versa).
Note that this is only applicable in certain situations, and only as a short term stopgap measure. This sort of practice - developers or administrators deploying haphazardly to servers other than those intended for development - is precisely what the NWDI is designed to prevent (and is one of very few things it's fairly good at doing). For instance, if your QA and production systems are attached as TEST and PROD runtimes systems respectively in your NWDI, a full assembly and subsequent full deployment would usually occur to these servers when deploying with the NWDI. This is a much stronger guarantee of consistency than the build that will be performed within your local NWDS to deploy your changes. (Conversely, the rigidity of the assembly is perhaps the NWDI's greatest design flaw.)

I think, you need to elaborate the issue bit wide... Couple of things;
If you see the descrepancy in the data in BW that from in source system, better look at in BW where it went wrong and see if you can correct it there (may be in PSA) or you can even re-extract the data and then load it into the respective cubes or data targets.
On the other hand, if the data in BW matches with that of the source system, better ask the consultant/ IT team member whoever is responsible to look at it, if at all if it needs to be corrected so he can post the corresponding journal entries. In this case, if it need to be corrected, you will have to re-extract the data to have it match with the source system or if you can wait until the next delta...that will take care of it...

One of our customer is using UCM 11g as their content repository for all document management requirements. They are looking for the possibility to implement URM for the record mangement requirements.
They are looking for the following specific scenario.
In UCM for any document if the metadata is updated with a specific value (example Status="Approved") then that particular version of the document should be moved automatically to URM.
How can we achieve this?. Can we use the UCM connector for URM?
In this scenario, whether the actual content will be transferred to URM or just the metadata will be created in URM for that particular document and the actual content still reside in UCM?.

Usually the entire set of content management scenario like wf's , metadata , expiration etc are created on UCM Server . On the URM side all the life cycles like Retention , Disposition , Records actions etc are created .
So when you checkin a content and if it is attached to a category / record folders then it will be searchable from URM side as well .
As for moving the contents you can schedule the Synchronization on a manual basis from UCM side where in the contents will then be searchable from URM side .
All the contents , metadata and such details will be on UCM itself but they will be attached to the URM life cycles .
Apart from this if you want then the same ucm server can be turned into a standalone RM server as well by selecting Standalone Option while enabling RM components .
Or else use the Adapter configuration to have UCM server with RM communicate with a full blown URM server .

I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay.
