How to move unrestricted to GR blocked stock

Is there any way to move the material from unrestricted to GR blocked stock ?

Movement type 622, increase blocked stock

Dear Community
Got a problem with movement type 622.
Our rental tool process looks as follow:
1. Rental tool order (ZROT) for Material type LWRK
2. Outbound delivery (ZLF): post material from unrestricted use to customer returnable stock
3. Return order (ZRE)
I4. nbound delivery (TC VL01n): post material vom customer returnable stock to blocked stock (returns or quality inspection)
For step 2 and 4 we originally used movement types 621 and 622. The problem occures now in step 4 because 622 reduces the customer returnable stock to unrestriced use. What we need is to reduce customer returnable stock and increase blocked. So we made a copy of 622 (->922) and try to configure it how we need it.
This doesn`t work as we want to.
The expected result would be when posting the GR on the inbound delivery, the customer returnable stock should be decreased and the blocked stock (not GR-blocked stock) should be increased.
Any ideas on that, thanks for your help and thoughts.

Hi,
This is basically SD movemet type. To increase the blocked stock no need of copying 622 and do 922. Use 657 GDreturns blocked. Due to IMG discrepencies in this scenario SAP system suggested this movement to execute. I hope this will resolve your issue. Thanking you.

To Unrestricted instead of Blocked stock.

when i do GR for a plant it is going to Unrestricted stock.for another plant the same material it is going to blocked stock.i want that,the smae shud go to Unrestricted stock only.please advice customisings to be done for this.

The requirement can be met with the following ways.
1.You can maintain the setting post to unrestricted at MIGO in the personnel settings for the movement type.
2.You can set this in the delivery tab of PO.
3.Do not check the box 'post to inspection stock ' in the MMR.
4.Or while posting at MIGO post to unrestricted stock.

Transfer posting to block stock through quality notification

Dear QM Experts,
I am trying to post the material from unrestricted use to block stock through quality notification type Q2. Following are the details.
1.     Material is batch managed
2.     Storage location is managed by warehouse management and has storage bin.
3.     Material has split valuation
When I click on link transfer post unrestrictedblock system asks to put storage type and storage bin. Here I enter the appropriate details. When I press enter system throws error message as Enter valuation type as the material has split valuation active. Surprisingly I do not find the option to put this valuation type in Q2 notification screen.
On the contrary when I try to do 344 movment manually through MB1B system gives pop up to select appropriate valuation type.
Requirement is movement 344 should happen through quality notification considering above constraints. How the valuation type to be entered in Q2 notification?
I would be grateful, if someone can throw some light on this.

Which valuation category do you use in material master accounting view?
In my experience..
Normally a company use the batch management for split valuation and a valuation type should be input automatically by transaction in batch master.
Therefore when you input a material, plant, batch in notification screen, a valuation type would be selected in background by system.
Anyway try below..
At transaction MSC2N you input a valuation type into batch master then try to transafer posting through notification.
I'm not sure why your batch master does not have a valuation type.

QM_move stock to block stock through Q2 notification type

Dear QM Experts,
u2022 I am creating quality notification type Q2 through QM01
u2022 After doing necessary defect entry I want to post the defective material to block stock.
u2022 For this I am using action box transfer posting unrestricted to block.
u2022 By doing this material can be transferred to block stock of the same storage location
Requirements,
u2022 Is it possible to move the material to block stock of another storage location?
u2022 Whether 311 movement can happen through this action box so as to transfer the material from unrestricted to unrestricted of another storage location?
u2022 What type of setting needs to be done to achieve this effect?

In notification action box you have the option of transferring the material from unrestricted to block. In that you have the option inputting the storage location to which you want to transfer

- As said this can be done through a development or other option is that you can choose the same action box( Transfer unrestricted to block ) and change the movement type to 311. It will allow to move material from one storage location to another
another solution is that you can use tak with followupaction as Goods movements. its available in the standard. when u save the notification it will take you to transfer posting but wherein you will have to key in all the details

Is Blocked stock valuated in FS10N??

Experts,
I am wondering if Blocked stock is valuated in our G/L Accounts inventory values for transaction FS10N. If I do a transfer from available to blocked, movement types 343/344....Does it post an accounting document? If so, what are the accounts that are posted to?
I know GR blocked stock is a Non valuated stock, so at the time of receipt in to GR Blocked, only the material doc will be created and not the Accounting document. I just want to make sure there is not a difference if I receive it in first MvT 101, then transfer to blocked MvT 343 if the block stock will be valuated in the G/L Accounts.

GR Blocked stock is conditional acceptance of goods. its done thru movement 103 & Its not valuated movement only material documents gets generated.
After the physical assessement of goods e.g weighing, counting, Serial number scanning etc you can release GR Blocked (103 )material document Thru movement 105 wherein actual goods receipts will be posted alongwith accounting document.

Yes, You are right . When you transfers goods from Unrestricted use to Blocked stock only material document will get generated. but Accounting document will only get generated when you are transferring goods frm Unrestriced stock to Blocked of one valuation type/ Batch to another valuation tppe/Batch.
343 - Transfer posting blocked stock to unrestricted-use stock
349 - Transfer posting blocked stock to quality inspection stock

Invoice Verification and valuated blocked stock

Hi,
We are using movement types 107 / 109 for modeling stock in transit.
And we have trouble in invoice entry processing. We perform a good receipt with movement type 107 (Valuated Blocked Stock), but no 109 (storage receipt) is performed, when entering the vendor invoice (MIRO), the positions of the purchase order are shown in blank, no quantity or price is proposed.
Is there a way that MIRO transaction show price and quantity of receipts performed with movement type 107?

Hi,
If you are receiving the material at Valuated blocked stock, then the system will not propose any quantity or price at the MIRO. Make the stock as unrestricted then only post the invoice.

Unable to create Vendor return delivery from blocked stock

Hello,
Would like to know how to enable delivery picking from blocked stock.
Some back ground : I am using Delivery type RL (Vendor returns). Required config is done in IMG.
In our process we move defective material to blocked stock. Next create a Return PO to pick material from blocked stock.
Next use VL10b to create delivery document against this PO. We are able to create delivery & PGI from blocked stock.
All above steps are executing seamlessly without any issue In our QA system.
However in PROduction system delivery document does not find any qty in blocked stock inspite of being in the blocked stock.
Please let me know where I could find the setting to enable delivery shipping/ PGI from blocked stock.

Prerequisites
When you enter a return delivery, you should reference the purchase order or the material document, so that the system can:
Suggest data to simplify data input (for example, the storage location)
Check that the returned quantity does not exceed the delivered quantity
Reduce the quantity delivered to date
Reverse other updates that occurred (for example, for a goods receipt into consumption) when the goods receipt was entered
Before you enter a return delivery with reference to a purchase order, you have to determine whether the goods were posted to stock or to consumption, or whether they were posted into goods receipt blocked stock. If you posted the goods to a particular stock type at goods receipt (for example, quality inspection stock), you have to return them from the same stock type.

GR-blocked stock VS Blocked stock

Dear all,
I still have some confuse with the concept and use of GR-blocked stock and blocked stock.
As far as I know, GR-blocked stock is usually triggered at the point of goods receipt with ref to PO. If the goods are not satisfy with the requirement, then post the goods to GR-blocked stock via 103.
However, under what circumstances we need to post the goods to blocked stock?

Good receipts is done in Unrestricted stock (or) Qualtiy Stock (or) BLOCKED stock
Movement type - 101 Unrestricted stock (or) Quality Stock
what circumstances we need to post the goods to blocked stock?
during inwarding if you found that the lot will having problem where the value is more and qty is more
you will inward in Blocked stock
Movement type -- 103 - For blocked stock in this you are moving to block stock if you see the P.O history of the p.o. there will be qty updation and value updation is not there
when u move from block stock to unrestricted stock using movement type 105
stock will be getting updated and valu also

Warning when moving allocated stock to blocked stock

Dear all.
we are facing a problem with our quality / mm flow. We have materials that while in stock need regular quality inspections (every 72 hours) .
Batch is inspected and passed inspection and allocated to a sales order / delivery but will only be shipped in a few days. Then the batch is inspected again and does not pass inspection. The inspection people move the material from unresticted to blocked status.
However the delivery is goods issued and send to the customer because the quality inspection people don't get a warning that the batch is already allocated to a sales order when they do the goods movement into blocked stock.
Anybody has a sollution?

thanks for the info. However if I understand correctly this means that every batch needs quality inspection before PGI and that is not the case.
Every 72 hours the batch will be quality inspected. In most cases the delivery and the PGI will take place within the first 72 hours. However in some exeptional cases the inspection will take place between Del note creation and PGI (not on purpose, just the 72 hour boundry, the quality inspection people are not aware of the delivery)
At that time the batch is already allocated to a delivery yet during the quality inspection the batch fails the qualifications and will moved to blocked stock.
The people who move the batch into blocked stock need the warning that this batch has been allocated to a delivery so that it can be stopped before the trucks leave our property.

"AFAIK, there's no official guide yet on how to move Win8.1 from the stock HDD to an SSD (upgrade) except by using a recovery disc or a recovery drive but for any given model, may it be a laptop or a desktop, your other choices are the following:
Option 1: ( I have Not yet decided on this )
Clone / migrate the OS from the HDD to the SSD
- this is ideal if you don't want to re-install all of the soft-wares
To do this, while booted on the stock HDD, you will need to connect the SSD to the machine (eg. using a 2.5" SATA enclosure) and use a data migration software to clone/migrate the HDD to the SSD. After the process is finished, remove the stock HDD and replace it with the SSD and all should be good.
Other guides:
- OS Migration (using Paragon Backup & Recovery Home)
- Disk Cloning (using Macrium Reflect)
Option 2: [ I will most likly to do this ]
Clean install the OS to the SSD
- this is ideal if you wanted to start fresh
To do this, you will need to:
1. Check this guide on how to obtain a Windows 8.1 ISO (see Option One) {{ Done > DL Win 8.1 burned ISO }}
2. Follow this guide to make a bootable UEFI Win8.1 installer via DVD/USB flashdrive and use it to install Windows (the installation should be able to detect the Windows 8.1 product key in the UEFI firmware that will let you activate Windows).
Is this still the BEST/Only way to move Win8.1 from the stock HDD to an SSD ??
I assume there is NO way to use OneKey Recovery or windows Recovery ( I have both on USB Flash Drives )

We hv configured movement (333) for GR block stock as well. I have configured this mov at diff client in my couple of past project without any prob.

During Quality inspection I have put 2 nos of the items in blocked stock and done no further processing. Do i need to create notification and then transfer the stock to unrestricted.

how r u sure that the blocked stock which is showing in mmbe is that stock which u have placed in blocked stock through the inspection lot .
i had also faced the same error some time back.
after analysis i found out that the stock which i was thinking was placed to blocked stock thru an inspection lot wasnot the amount showing in mmbe.
what u can do is proceed all the inspection lot in QM against the material code.
