How to move videos from Macbook to iPhone 4s?

So, a while ago i accidentally deleted 2 videos from my iPhone 4s. Luckily, I was able to recover them by extracting them from the backup I had on my computer. I then added these 2 videos to my iTunes library and synced them with my iPhone so I could have those videos on my iPhone again. The problem is: I can't find them on my phone. When searching for a solution on the web, I was told to look for these videos on the iPod app or the Movies app. The videos aren't in the iPod app and I don't have a Movies on my phone. Are the videos on my phone? If so, how do I find them? I just want to have those videos on my camera roll again.

The app is called Videos, and it's built into the phone. There's no way to delete it, although it can be disabled in Restrictions. You cannot put them on your Camera Roll again. In fact, you should not have any permanent content on your camera roll; you should copy it to your computer, archive and organize it, then move it back to the Photo and Video apps through itunes. Think of the camera roll as a digital camera (which is what it is). You wouldn't leave content permanently on your digital camera, and you shouldn't on your iPhone.

    Haryati-
I found your question while researching another one on the same topic.  I found it hard to believe that iPad videos could not be transfered to a computer!
I made a short video on my iPad 2.  It showed up in the Photos camera roll.
Running iPhoto and connecting the iPad to my Mac Pro, I selected the iPad under DEVICES.  The video was at the end of the photos, I selected it and clicked on "Import Selected".  I then dragged the imported video to my desktop and it played in QuickTime Player when I double-clicked it.
Then I tried it with Aperture.  The dragged copy appeared to play in QuickTime Player, but the screen was black.  However an Exported Version played correctly.

Go to the apps tab, select sync apps, select the apps that you want to sync.

Apps can be used with only one account. You can sync to more than one iphone from that account, but the app will not transfer to another account.

I am noticing that my brand new iPhone 6 did not load pics from the cloud so want to transfer photos manually from macbook pro onto the new iPhone 6 plus could you direct me how to.thanks Gerald

Are your photos housed in the iPhoto app on the Mac? If so, then hook up your device, click on the Photos tab in the Device Profile Screens to the right, select what photos you want sync'd, and then sync your device to iTunes.

  • HT4437 how to record video from computer to iphone 4s

how to record a video from my computer to my iphone 4s?

Do you mean transfer a recorded video from your computer to your iPhone?
If so, the recorded video must be in an iPhone compatible format for starters.

  • How to move videos from camera roll to videos on iPad 3

    Two questions:
Question 1: I have shot a 28mins long video using camera on my iPad but don'know how to move it to albums or "videos".
Question 2: I connected the iPad to my computer using the cable and browsed it through windows explorer but that video is not appearing there although it is showing me the other videos which are relatively smaller in size than the one I mentioned above and trying to copy

Choose Select at the upper right, select some photos, choose "Add To" at the upper left, and then select the album you wish to move the photos to.
Note that you can only move photos to albums that you created on the iPad. Also note that the photo will remain in the Camera Roll, only a pointer to the photo is moved to the album.

  • How to transfer videos from MacBook Pro to Ipod Touch?

When I plug in my Ipod Touch it only opens up itunes and iphoto. I have no option of copying videos onto my ipod.
It does not come up as an icon on my desktop either.
Can someone help me solve this problem?
    Thanks

Ona Mac, the iPod does not appear on the desktop or in Finder.
You import videos into iPhoto the same was as you import photos in iPhoto. Videos just appear along with photos in iPhoto.

  • How to move videos from an iPod to computer?

I've tried several ways to do this, but none of them work. When I move the videos directly from my iPod to my computer, my drag and drop or through a program on the computer, they all become corrupted. Either the video works and the audio doesn't, or vice versa. I've even tried emailing them to myself, which works for short videos, but I can't only send about a minute long video via email. It's very frustrating. Can someone please help me?

  • How to export video from 2 different iPhones?

I have a bunch of videos I have shot of our son with my iPhone 4S and my GF has some videos she has shot with her iPhone 4 and I need the footage from her phone but don't want her phone to sync with my library if I try to connect to my computer. She has a PC and I have a Mac. So how can I get the footage from her phone so I can add to mine so I can edit a little video of our son?
We both have a Dropbox (www.dropbox.com) If she uploads her videos to her Dropbox then sends them to me is that an option? I guess she could email or text message them to me too. I think I just answered my own question! LOL!

You import photos/videos the same way you do with any digital camera, you use iPhoto. No syncing involved at all, and no iTunes involvement. Just connect her phone & import them.

  • How to download pictures from macbook to iPhone

I just got a new iPhone 5s and I want to download some photos that I have on my macbook air onto my phone but I can't seem to figure out how to do that. I have tried using icloud but that doesn't seem to work and I can't seem to find out how to do it manually does anyone know how I can get the pictures onto my phone?

and I want to download some photos that I have on my macbook air onto my phone
There are two easy ways to get the photos to your iPhone:
If your photos are in a folder on your MacBook Air or in iPhoto, you can sync the the photos using iTunes Photo Sync:  See this link:  iTunes: Syncing photos - Apple Support
Or use iPhoto or Aperture and share the photos to "My Photo Stream":  See  iCloud: Get help using My Photo Stream
However, none of the above will work, if you enabled iCloud Photo Library (Beta) on your iPhone.  If you upgraded to  iCloud Photo Library (Beta), iTunes Photo Sync is no longer supported, and My Photo Stream will not upload to your iOS 8 devices.  In that case, disable iCloud Photo Library again, or   use the Photos Beta app on the the web interface https://www.icloud.com   ( https://www.icloud.com/#photos  )  to upload photos from your Mac to the iCloud Photo Library.  There is an upload button in the toolbar.

  • How to move pics from Pc to Iphone 4s

I no longer see in Itunes where the phone shows up for anything except music.  How can I move pics to phone from PC?

If you click on the device, the tabs should be across the top of the screen. If you are just seeing the music in your library, you can click on View and select show Sidebar. You should be able to see the phone then, click on it and you should see the tabs across the top, including Summary, Info, etc. Select the photos to sync and sync from there.
