How to move windows from disconnected screen to active desktop?

Hi
I have a projector connected over the MiniDisplay-port on my Mac Mini, and a large Samsung screen connected over the Mini-DVI-port.
Whenever I turn off the projector, I can still see from the Display menu that the proejctor is still connected. How can I make OS X recognize that the display is in fact off?
The problem occurs when I open an application that was open on the projection scren (like iTunes’ movie plauyer window, or QuickTime): because it will reopen on the screen that is now turned off.
The only work-around I have found is to enable Spaces, and move the window over using spaces. But this is cumbersome and annoying.
Does anyone have a better solution? Thanks in advance,

I have already tried that, and the screen still appears as connected. I guess that is correct, as the cable still is connected. But that doesn’t really help when the monitor is off.
Other suggestions?

no, there isn't and I don't believe you can possibly make one. I don't know how this works in windows but os x would need to know where exactly to put a window on the other screen. since screens often have different sizes that would be impossible. besides, with extended desktop there is no actual separation between the screens and a window can be partly on one screen and partly on the other.
I'm afraid you are just going to have to drag.
This is about the only thing I miss from my old days of using a PC.

In order to organize a bit the screens after installing several apps, how can we move them from one screen to the next?
I've found it possible to place them in the lower bar and then replace them into the required screen but that's very slow...
Any other way?
Also, is it possible to place the apps where we want and not get them automatically reorganized (blanks filled)?

Sorry I guess the correct terminology would be 'virtual desktops'.
You pass from one virtual desktop to another swiping left or right on the phone.
I would like to switch conveniently an app (icon) from one virtual desktop to another.

Cannot move windows to other Screen, e17

I am using the ATI Catalyst drivers and I am unable to move windows from one screen to the other. The cursor is blurred when going to the other side, but it is still visible with the original screen with the window I am trying to move. I am using enlightenment and the newest catalyst drivers. I have the same problem. After Mountain Lion was installed, my longstanding display configuration (MacBook Air coupled with large Dell monitor) will no longer allow app windows to be moved from the Air screen to the large display when the large display is configured on top of the Air. Only the side-by-side configuration works. Mouse can move above the Air menu bar, but not any app windows. Mirroring works as usual; this is the only problem. I've tried re-setting the display preferences, and I've also tried pairing with another (non-Apple) monitor. Same problem. Is this a known bug? Is there a fix on the way?

You can use RowCount transformation in the path where you want to capture record details. Then inside rowcount transformation pass a integer variable to get count value inside

For large data I would prefer doing this in T-SQL. So what you could do is dump data to staging table and then apply
T-SQL MERGE between tables (or even a combination of INSERT/UPDATE statements)

I've added my own menu after "System Help" on all screens by adding it in MENUSYST status MEN. I want to call Function Module CALL_BROWSER to start a Browser in Windows which will provide Training information for Users. I'm doing this by using 'T' type menu entries to Call a Report Transaction to call the FM but this resets the original SAP transaction (as if you'd typed /N in the OKCODE). This is possibly becuase my calling transaction is not in a new task. I can't find a suitable Exit in SMOD as an alternative.

I am talking about the Ver 3 download link that came with the purchase email.
That link is no longer available. Use "Migration Assistant" to copy your Applications from your old mac to the new Mac, then immediately run software update. Aperture Version 3.2 will not run on your new mac with Mavericks, you will have to Upgrade to version 3.4.5 at least - you can download this update from the Support page: Aperture 3.4.5
Then launch Aperture and enter your registration key and try now too update from version 3.4.5 to 3.5 from the AppStore. The AppStore will change your Aperture registration to an AppStore version, so you will able to reinstall by downloading from the AppSTore in future.
If you want transfer only Aperture and no other applications, do it manually: You will have to copy not only the application but folders from the libraries as well:
/Applications/Aperture.app
