How to navigating between layers?( as if they were pages of a book?)

I need a good advice on design and navigating between some different layers.
I am a Adobe Director user, and I am used to think of “navigating between frames”. also frames as pages of a book, while in flash time-frames.
In Director one can navigate between different frames with each containing many components.
And this does not make any conflict since the frames are some kind of pages of a book, you go to any page you want and back again.
I am designing math training application in falsh-CS6, in which the user should be able to navigate from start-menu by choosing an
exercise number and then go to the wanted exercise and then create an exercise by a create_excercise button, there back again to menu to choose another and so on. How I can do it clean in flash?
As I see I have to place everything in the same “frame” in flash, and it becomes little practical and confusing since there
are many things all gathered in the same frame, where they should instead appear in their respective “pages”.
I have done some works in flash: made 4 layers in flash with the following contents:
layer 1: for my menu( contains 3 buttons, q1bt, q2bt, q3bt)
layer 2: for question 1( contains 3 buttons makeQ1bt, chekAns1bt, and gotoMenuBtn)
the same is for layer 3 and 4.
I see no options rather than making different components visible or invisible whole way! but is there a better way?

Flash does allow more than one frame - that is one of the foundations of working with it. You can restrict yourself to using just one frame if you like, but it is not required and very often people use the timeline instead of keeping things in one place.
I have no familiarity with Director, but what you just described sounds like designing using the timeline of Flash. With Flash you can use the timeline in the fashion you just described where different pages occupy different frames of the timeline and you can navigate from one to another. You are not stuck with one frame in Flash... you can create a new keyframe at any point along the timeline and add new/different content to it, while retaining a menu that exists across all pages (or not - it's your choice)..

Try each of these in order until one works:
Open App Store and click on your Purchases tab. If you're prompted to accept them, then do so.
Put the old ones into the Trash, temporarily. Open App Store and see if you can download them for free from their individual product pages. If asked to buy them, see the next option.
Click here, contact Apple, and wait for a response.
You will have to purchase them using your Apple ID.

When I first bought my ipad and connected it to my PC ten years worth of photos were downloaded ont ipad. It is now full! Cannot delete them as they were not taken with the ipad. Can anyone tell me how to delete them? Apple Store been very unhelpful.

photos that were synced to the pad can only be deleted by re syncing. When you do the resync, on your computer running i tunes, select the photo tab, and uncheck anything you do not want put back on your pad.

Navigation between Layers in VC7

I have 3 layers. In the first layer I have a table from which a business partner is chosen to be shown in detail on layer 2 (tabs). How can I make it happen, that layer 2 is automatically opened after selecting a business partner?

When you connect the 2 layers you can give the same event to the transion line as you have when selecting the partner. You should put a * infront of it.

You have a few options:

Conditional navigation between layers

Hi Masters,
I have forms1,2,3 in respective layers 1,2,3. From form1 iam connecting the output port to the input port of web service. Depending on the values of the fields that come from the output port of web service, I should decide to which form i should go either to form 2 or to form 3. This vaigation should happen on clicking on the button in form1. Please help me out.

Hello Kaushik,
Instead of having three layers. You can have two layers.
First layer should be same you have , and the second layer shoud be combination of components in 2 n 3 of your layer.
Now Store the value you are getting from webservice in a dataStore. And use the visibility condition of the components .
Example:
Then Setting the visiblity condition of (STORE@Variable == 'Yes') for one and (STORE@Variable == 'NO') for other.

I inadvertantly uploaded documents to wrong icloud account. How do I get them back? They were pulled off my ipad to the cloud, but they're in the wrong cloud. Can I move them between accounts somehow?

I accidently created two icloud accounts when setting it up on my iPad. When I opened Pages, the documents on my iPad were moved up to account1. I realized what I had done and then set up account2, which is the one I really need to work with for all of my stuff (account2 is the one migrated from mobile me).
I then deleted account1 from my iPad. When I opened Pages on my iPad, all of my documents were gone. I can see them online on my mac when I log into account1. I just want to find some way to move them to acc

You don't have them on your computer?

Your problem is that she used your icloud ID to connect to icloud and thus had all your data synced to her device. Contacts are not saved in a backup to icloud, since they are stored independently in the Contacts section of icloud. If someone deletes them, they are gone. If you had them on the PC would they be available in some backup you frequently make of the PC?

Go into the full screen mode while viewing a book and click on the Projects button in the upper left hand corner.
That will bring up the bookshelf mode.

How to get photos to iMac, when they were imported via camera connection kid

Hi,
I have photos imported on my iPad with the camera connection kid, i.e. directly copying photos from the camera to the iPad in my vacation.
Now at home, I want to get these photos from the iPad on my desktop (iMac). I use Aperture for syncing, but also in iPhoto I did not manage. The problem is that the photos I have so imported on the iPad can be there found in the "Photo Library" album, while the "Camera roll" album includes the regular iPad Photos. The Camera Roll is visible in Aperture (and iPhoto) for importing as soon as I connect the iPad to the iMac and Aperture (iPhoto) is opened. But I cannot find the Photo Library with all the photos copied in my vacation...
How can I import those?

Photos that were imported via the camera connection kit should be treated in the same way as those taken with the iPad in terms of copying them off : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083
If that doesn't work then there are third-party apps such as Simple Transfer (which has a free lite version called Simple Photo & Video Transfer) which can copy them off via your wifi network.

No, thanks anyway, not the problem. I finally got into resetting the size in my display prefs, but as before, it's still not quite as easy to read as it was. I click my way through each res setting, hoping I'll find my old settings. I can read this now, the window is a comfortable size after dragging it out a bit, but the various areas of font are just a little way off.
