First of all, thank you all for your feedback.
I wasnt hooked on internet for almost a week and i've just saw hits and comments.
I believe i can make some small fixes according to suggestions.

at the mini tutorial i've made (mostly for personal use and reference) i didnt want to use a distro script (like genfstab) so people would understand better what is that step and how important is it.
I didnt find grub at iso (perhaps i wasnt looking for that).
I didnt want to install packages from a chroot environment.

This 3rd-party site is my site and i didnt know that i can actually do that (contribute to archlinux wiki) without any problem or a discussion before. If you have read my wiki, i dont follow archlinux instructions but rather do my things.

I would add a section for static IP (ipv4 only).
But if there is a dhcp server, use it (easiest) and after rebooting to your system, configure it according to your static IP ruleset.

ArchLinux is evolving every day. At this point, a core image is out-dated too fast.
Net install is the "proper" installation method. Perhaps a nightly core could be in releases

Have tried: download but do not install iTunes, then turn off virus protection and firewall, restart computer, login as admin, then run the iTunes insallation. After it installs, restart virus protection and firewall and logout and back in as standard user.
Windows leaves installers running or still resident which conflict with the iTunes installer.

I recently purchased master collection 5 DVD version. On DVD box I have three serial numbers: Master collection, Ppro/AE CS4 32 Bit and Color Finesse. I used Master collection serial to activate my product. I am having 64 bit os, so I did not use Ppro/AE CS4 32 Bit serial. My question is about Color Finesse Serial. I searched about it and found it as an Plug-in for Premiere Pro or After Affect. Now where can I download Color Finesse and how I can install them with Premier Pro or After Affect?

This serial is only required for the CS4 version. The CS5 version does not require an extra serial. Both versions are installed automatically with the main programs. Nothing more to do.

You simply install it and input the required serials, including one of a previous product when asked for it.

Install problem with Quicken 2012 on Windows 8.1

I have two new computers with Windows 8.1. One is an HP laptop on which I had no trouble installing and using Quicken 2012. Now I want to install the same program on my Lenovo desktop. It is in the form of an exe file downloaded from Amazon. When I execute
it (as Administrator) the installer gets as far starting to disassemble the files for a second or two and then just disappears. I get no error indication, no message and find no trace of the installation files. I don't know what temp file is being used. I
find nothing in the logs either. I have tried the same file used on the HP and even re-downloaded from Amazon.
Other than this the computer runs fine. I have successfully installed half a dozen other programs with no problems.
Quicken 2012 is listed as being compatible with windows 8.
I would appreciate any suggestions on how to further troubleshoot this problem.

How to migrate installment plan with open items

Hi all,
I am trying to figure out how to migrate an installment plan, when my legacy system does not tie my open items directly to my installment plans. And the amounts in my open items table may not add up to the exact amount of the installment plan.
So for a simple example, I have $10 left on an installment plan that was created 6 months ago.
Since the creation of the plan obviously more charges and payments have been posted to this account, clearing previously open items and creating new ones.
Presently, I have only 2 open items remaining, one for $6 and one for $7.
So I have "enough" open items ($13 worth) to post the $10 installment plan, but not an exact match.
The way I read the migration documentation on this, I thought I could use a OPUPZ field (Subitem for a Partial Clearing in Document) to signify that I want to partially clear that $7 charge. Apparently I misinterpreted that.
So my question is, is there a way to migrate this installment plan with this set of open items?
Or is my only option to alter the payment plan to the open items, and say that there is $13 remaining on the plan?

The principal Idea is to migrate either
- the original amounts, the installment plan and last the latest payments (you migrate payment history)
- or to migrate the still open amount as one or more open items and subsequently an installment based on that amount.

Here's my situation:
1. I work in government on a stand-alone Mac Pro. No internet connection.
2. I access the internet through a different computer (PC), which I'm not allowed to install software on.
Q. How do I install ML on my stand-alone Mac Pro?
What I used to do before all this cloud nonsense.
1. Purhase the OS through Apple.com with a credit card
2. Transfer the file to my stand alone
3. Install
From what I've gathered, my only option is to go to an Apple Store and purchase a copy there and they can put it on a USB for me? Is that seriously my only option?
Apple is quickly going to lose our business if this is what it takes to simply update an OS.

Chris, you didn't ask for this, but this is how you create a flash drive version of ML:
Download the Installer, but do not install. Note the installer is in the Applications folder and you will use it to build the installation on the Flash Drive.
You should have formatted the flash drive (8 GB if that is what you are using) Mac HFS Extended (Journaled) already.
1. In Disk Utility click the Restore tab near the top right.
2. Drag the volume for your external drive from the sidebar into the Destination field.
3. Switch to the Finder and find the installer app in the Applications folder
4. Control-click or right-click the installer app and choose Show Package Contents
5. Inside the package choose Contents/Shared Support
6 Select the file InstallESD.dmg and drag it into the Source field in the Disk Utility window.
7. Click Restore button near the bottom right of the window
8. In the confirmation dialog, click Erase
9. Authenticate as Local Admin - give password
10. Could take half an hour for this part
11. When complete, quit Disk Utility
12 Change the new disk or flash drive name with Finder to something descriptive like Mac Os X Install ESD
You can then use that Flash Drive Installer on multiple machines.

Hi Dougled, Welcome to Apple's Users Help Users Forums.
With over 50% free, space is not the cause of your problem. You can safely delete, do a custom install without, unneeded printers and foreign languages. Don't mess with Fonts unless you are sure of yourself.
A forum search on "install 10.4." will give you lots of suggestions.
