I am trying to access my Fla file and every time I try to open it, It keeps saying "Unexpected File Format" and then closing. This happened after the Auto Saving crashed the program. I've already tried the "turn it into .rar and repairing the .rar then turning the rar back into fla." that didn't help at all. How do I upgrade from Adobe Flash Professional cs5.5 to Adobe Flash Professional cs6?

A couple of months ago, I was told by the live support team of Adobe, that I would be able to upgrade from flash cs5.5 to flash cs6 mac version, then I can change that to the windows version for $100. Now I am ready to upgrade and switch, but I am unable to find the upgrade for the USA, only for Africa. When I go to change the country to USA, it brings my to a cyclical clicking of links that never leads me to the actual flash cs6 purchase page, it only brings me to the purchase page for Flash CC, which I don't want. I am skeptical that the flash cs6 purchase page with Africa as a location was even a legitimate adobe webpage. Here is the page I was brought to by google (google was the only thing able to bring me to the page, I can't find it via adobes website) : Adobe Store - Adobe Flash Professional CS6 - Upgrade. I don't want to have to download from overseas (Digital River Ireland Ltd.) if this is even legitimate. The fine print said international purchases may incur an extra charge by my bank which I would love to avoid. Someone please help me, my Macbook broke last year and I have had a digital copy of the mac version of flash cs5.5 for a few years which I payed 700 dollars for, and now I have a windows laptop and the mac version of flash cs5.5 is useless to me now unless I can solve this issue! How to Export High Quality Adobe Flash Professional CS6

Okay, here's the situation. I've created a series of separate files of animations using .PNG images, and JPGs. Each animation is less than 1 minute long - and are separate files.
I have tried exporting various ones, and have had absolutely no luck in getting anything resembling high quality. I mean the first animations made by humans were better quality than this.
It's utterly ridiculous how bad this program works.
Anyways...
I've tried altering the frame rate, dimensions of the document, different export files, different players to view, I've gone into the settings and made sure the highest quality option is selected, etc. I've combed the internet for weeks and have read EVERYTHING on the subject (not much!!). I've also watched every relevant youtube video and nothing has worked!
I am losing my mind over this.
I even tried opening the files in Premiere and exporting them and they look even worse! What the hell is going on??
The whole reason I began using Flash is because research led me to believe it was made for this purpose but it clearly can't do...anything.
Is there any solution? Or should I just look into a different program?

What Image Export Preset settings are you using? (See and edit these via "Aperture→Presets→Image Export".)
16-bit TIFF is the highest quality Image Format. If you are using JPEG, set the Image Quality slider all the way to the right ("12"). Make sure size is set to "Original Size". "DPI" has no bearing on image quality -- it is just a setting that some apps use to determine how big to display the image on the screen.

Target gpu on the device you're testing .. you'll get much better results.
You can do it on the xml configuration file on <renderMode> or if you're publishing in flash on the settings of renderMode select GPU.
Also get rid as much as you can from vector graphics and use bitmaps instead.
You can use Adobe's method of converting a vector in bitmap like this : myMC.cacheAsBitmap = true;
And also if you're moving an object, scaling or changing it's transparency use myMC.cacheAsBitmapMatrix = new Matrix();

running SQL Developer, you can perform remote debugging.
Remote debugging involves many of the steps as for local debugging; however, do the

Advantages of using Oracle JVM over JPDA for Remote Debugging?

What are the "additional features" that the documentation hints at when using the Oracle JVM for remote debugging vs. the JPDA protocoL? Can a member of the JDEV briefly address this? What exactly am I losing when using JPDA?

I am not getting anywhere with 'NCOMPing' the stuff. Attempts to NCOMP keeps erroring out . The first of the errors is

Kuassi, I have looked at a few of your posts where you make mention of a file titled 'Settings_os.properties'. I see no such file in my Oracle installation. What am I missing here ?

JVM options for remote debugging

I'm run Tomcat 5.0.28 using service wrapper and i need help with set the required JVM options for remote debugging from ECLIPSE 3.0.0.

Where can I find a complete list of available JVM options for WLS?
For example -Dweblogic.security.SSL.protocolVersion is not listed anywhere
That is NOT a JVM options as I just explained in your other thread - see that thread for details.
JVM options
That "-Dxxx" syntax means you are specifying a system property on the Java command-line when launching Java.
That property can now be accessed in the Java app
You can make up and use ANYTHING you want when you write your own apps - those command line entries will just get added to the standard/default System properties as I explain in your other thread.
Consult the WebLogic documentation (or onliine help if WLS has such a thing) for info on the system properties that have been defined for WLS.

How do you publish AIR captive runtime for Windows from OSX in Flash Pro CS6?

Is this possible? If I move the app from a Mac to Windows it isn't looking like an app anymore. It's looking like a set of folders instead. Do I need to change publish options? changeing the extension to .exe didn't fix it. Help appreciated!

The entry point that loads the Captive runtime is different in the above cases.
Hence we need to explicitly publish from the required platform.

my question is why would one rather use HTML5 to create and edit animation over flash? I would personally rather have the visual interface than the text editor. Or did I miss something? What are the benefits other than separation of work duties (e.g., designer/developer).

Cannot download AES plugins for Adobe Flash Builder CS6 v 4.6

I have Adobe Flash Builder CS6 version 4.6 on my Mac and it start and run fine
I try to download AES 4.5 plug-in for Flash Builder 4.6 from the Help-Software Update menu.
Most plug ins were successfully downloaded and installed, except one from Adobe (AES plugin 4.5)
I come across an error dialog that read: Problem Occurred: Contacting Software Sites has encountered a problem. and: No repository found at http://aesplugins.adobe.com/aes/tooling/plugin/10.0
I have tried to use web browser to go to the address above directly and the result is:

In your CC desktop application, click on Filters and Versions, and choose Previous Version. Now, go to Flash Professional and choose the version that you want to install.
