How to notify users that their account is lockout

Hi,
We have an implementation of Cisco Secure for Windows. To log into the cisco devices the cisco device use tacacs and the cisco secure server checks against windows AD to validate user+password credntials. Now if the users fail three times in a row their account in AD gets locked for 2 minutes. Their tacacs accounts get locked after 7 attemps. However the user does not get a warning from the cisco device when the windows account is locked out so some users keep on trying so also their tacacs account gets locked out. I see in the logging on the acs server that the windows AD is telling it that the account is locked. Is it possible to send this message to the user prompt to notify them? Otherwise is it possible to also lock the tacacs account for two minutes?

Yes it is possible... but wasnt implemented.
If you use the ACS internal database, password aging messages get passed back via T+ that allows for forcing admins to change passwords and the like.
Its actually not that hard for ACS to do the same for Windows/AD but it was never done - which is a shame.
I guess if enough people shouted at Marketing they might add it.

Try to follow below steps
Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad
It will open Go to folder window, type exactly ~/Library and click on Go
Then open Application Support > Adobe folders
Trash AAMUpdater and OOBE folders.
Now click on finder and hold Command + Shift + G keys on your keypad.
This time type /Library and click on Go.
Make sure to remove ~ symbol.
Then open Application Support > Adobe folders.
Trash AAMUpdater, Adobe Application manager, OOBE folders.
Now Click on Finder and then hold Command + Shift + U keys on your keypad.
It will open utilities folder.
Trash Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Application Manager folders
Download and Run CC cleaner tool from below link

How does a user change their password?

I have been using OS X server to provide, among other things, centralised user accounts, such that any user can logon to any mac on the network by providing mobile accounts. However, if a user wants to change their password, this only appears to affect the local (cached) copy of the account and doesn't appear to change it centrally. i.e. use System Preferences-> Accounts

There is no inbuilt functionality to change the user password from SharePoint. All user account details need to be managed from AD.

Panel close? events cannot be triggered on a VI being viewed or controlled remotely. Some more information on that can be found in the help here:http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361E-01/lvprop/vi_panel_closeq/. My suggestion would be to set the Title Bar on the front panel of your remote VI to not be visible so that their only option for closing the window is to click the logout button. Are you using Remote Front Panels(http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/tut/p/id/3277) to do this instrument control? Using remote front panels allows you to manage a lot of the multiple people accesssing at the same-time type issues so it may be something to look into if you are not already using this method.

Just to extend on Armin's points,
If VPN access would be available, using AD authentication would still not allow you access if the password needs changing. If using a VPN, you would not need a gateway as you will connect to
the LAN in most instances.
The RDWeb site would need to be used in conjunction with the gateway if you are not using a VPN. The RDWeb and Gateway Roles can be installed on the same server simplyfing the deployment.
As Armin has suggested, i would recommend that you look at Password reset from the RDWeb interface or look at a identity management product Like FIM 2010 R2 which provided a Password reset
feature that can be published exernally.

How get the user that use CRM in my web site

I have a web app that connect to my CRM. I use C#.
I connect to CRM with my credential because I'm admin in CRM.
But my app is used from others CRM user and I need to know who is systemuser CRM that use app.
I need the same of Xrm.Page.context used in js or the same context used in plugin, but I have the problem that I connect to CRM with my user. So If I use WhoAmIRequest class I have my userid and not the userid of the user that use my web app.
Is it possible know this? Do I change my login with user login in CRM?

Hi,
As you use system admin to connect to CRM, WhoAmIRequest does not return the user from website. You are correct. Change that so that it uses logged in user however be aware that means each user needs to be a valid CRM user else they
will get not a valid user error.

SM04 is just who is doing in perticular transaction in current time,but there is no display who is done in past time in perticular transaction, i mean what are the Changes have done.
the only solution in Purchase Requisition is available is Venrtion Management.if you activate and configure Vertion Management, werever people is changing PR before saving they must have the enter name or permition to take,so as your solution is best useful is Vertion Management is very much suitable
Vertion Management configuration is also pretty simple,so threads available,please have a look

At University we have just completed migration to iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2. Users of UNIX and pine now have to identify twice to get email. As stated in the question, they have to login to their shell, and then pine forces another login. Each additional time they run pine to check email it requires a new login.
Is there any way to get rid of the additional authorizations required to read email after someone is successfully authenticated to our own student/faculty servers? Perhaps adding some sort of Kerberos ticket system?

How to notify users when they are timed out?

So I am a developer for fortune 500 company and the network infrastructure team came to me with an odd request for an application that taps into Anyconnect. I find it hard to believe that this functionality doesn't exist.
So here is the scenario. We have Anyconnect set up to not have an idle timeout. However we have it set up to disconnect after 12 hours.
Here is the problem. When the end user meets that 12 hours, it just disconnects on them. There are no warning messages, no messages they have been disconnected. Just the connection is terminated.
So my question is there any way to set this up to notify the user they have been disconnected and need to reconnect. Is there a way to notify them in advance that they will be disconnected in say 30 minutes?
They want me to create an application that periodically checks the connection time by executing
C:\Program Files (x86)\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client>vpncli stats traffic
Getting the time connected then if they are nearing the timeout time then start presenting the user with a warning.
So that's basically my question. Is there no way to set this up in Anyconnect? If we are supposed to see these messages is it something our team might have disabled?
We are using Anyconnect 3.1.01065 on Windows XP and Windows 7

Actually yes, at least in our environment. Using Citrix applications and VT Terminal applicaitons they need a constant connection. If the user disconnected say via an Idle Timeout then their sessions into these applications can and will hang. Not only that the older VT terminal sessions if hung durring a process that locks records or tables then it is locked for everyone. They have to call our helpdesk and have them kill the user. Citrix gets a little wacky as well if the user just blinly disconnects. So idle timeouts are actually a bad thing. Also a user might through a terminal session or though a citrix connection start a long run transaction. For example a blueprint sent off to a render farm could take 3-4 hours to render some have even take 10 hours. So a user may start a process and then go away especially on the weekend.
So while there are issues with the internet in general that can cause disconnects most of this software will try reconnecitng from the server to the client everal times before finally giving up. So a quick break in internet connectivity is not an issue, a idle timeout where it doesn't reconnect until the user returns doesn't work.

Until now , i have inserted a hint which is displayed automatically when the user activates these text items ..... but the hint is dispayed at the bottom... and the user may not see it....

Use the WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE and if the item has a
popup menu change the colorBut then you'll have to change it back again when the user leaves the field, which I don't believe is possible when you have list items (especially in multi-record blocks) because of when the when-new-item-instance trigger fires for these items.
