Every time that you post code, whatever you are using eliminates all formatting and changes any multiple spaces to single spaces, so it makes it hard to tell what your code really is. Within the function, you need to remove the special characters and double spaces before you use the string for anything else. In the first part of your output string, you were only putting a % in front of the first word and after the last word. I fixed it so that it puts % before and after every word. I also added some code to return a score of 100 when an exact match is found in any column. You can use the function in a select from dual to see what it is returning. Please see the demonstration below. I will provide a copy of the function in a separate post that you can copy and paste. You may want to adjust the values that you multiply by. The values of 10 and 5 and .5 and .1 were just examples.

Dear Freinds,
I have one requirement where i have to get no of weeks in a week . The requirement is
if in a particular month from the start of the month i have to have 8 days in a week.
lets for example in the month of novemeber 2008 (Four Weeks) , iwant the data as below
from 1st nov + 8 thnov -
will give first week
from 9thnov + 16thnov -
will give second week
from 17th nov + 24thnov -
will give third week
from 25th nov +30th -
will give fourth week .

If my understanding of your requirement is correct. Please find the syntax below.
Data : Result type i.
Result = sy-datum+6(2) MOD 7. (or)
Result = date+6(2) MOD 7.

How can I make invoice by datagridview I'm trying to type customer information in the Textbox and Inventory Items in datagridview but the problem is datagrid give me one cell and I can type one inventory item only, I want to put a lot of items for
one customer. And I bind the datagridview to access db table.
For more explain , How can I make Invoice and use datagridview for put items into it and save to access database table?
For example " create invoice in Quick books " something like that Every customer have a gridview and it's have item he taken it.

The problem with the datagridview is that it can only show one table.
For more tables 3th party datagrid's are better.
Although you can start with using the old datagrid. Despite what is written on MSDN is it a complete different control then the datagridview. You can add in to your toolbox by right clicking on it and then add it.
The datasource of a DataGrid can be a complete dataset which is showed with all its relations.

When I want to fill one value in a field on a JSP page, I enter:
value="<%=someClass.getSomeValue() %>"
How should I enter more values (e.g. street, city, postal code, country) in one field?
I tried to put those fields together, so I do one getAddress() call, but the output is (initial screen - supposed to be empty) null null null null
When I enter a customer, the field works ok (no null values).

That will not result in null values - I hope.

U loop ur internal table with 10 document no's in the internal table.
Now, in the loop u call the Smartform FM..

Currently it is not possible to assign more than one item to a tab. But you can use a container item and place several items in this container item. Afterwards you assign the container to one tab.

ACE:How to bind more VIPs' status, one VIP down, others also down

As we know, a WEB2.0 business is consist of more services, and those services communicte with each other.
If one service shutdown, and failover to another DataCenter, other services must talk with it cross datacenter, that will reduce the whole system's performance, so we need bundle failover those services.
One service has a VIP, my question is how to bind those services' VIP status.
I expect if one VIP down, the other VIP also down.

There may be more than one way to accomplish this and I'm not sure which would be the best way, but here is one that comes to mind:
VIP-A --> Serverfarm-A --> Rserver-A
VIP-B --> Serverfarm-B --> Rserver-B
Let's say you have VIP-A and VIP-B that you want to failover together, even if only one of them goes down at a local datacenter. Since you can apply more than one probe to a serverfarm, and that the default behavior is that if just one probe fails the rserver is down, then you could have Serverfarm-A and Serverfarm-B both probing Rserver-A and Rserver-B. This way, if either Rserver-A or Rserver-B application goes down, both serverfarms will go down. Now the ACE can switch the serverfarm for both VIPs to the backup serverfarm, which would reside at the backup datacenter.

we now met a situation: there are many(at least three) timesten instance cache connect different oracle instance. but we need an bigtable to cache all of these tables. the bigtable is on another machine. the bigtable need to reflect the modifies on different timesten instances in time. At first we want to use XLA to monitor the changes happend on the timesten and then reflect them to the bigtable, but we cannot use direct connection and CS connections at same time in one applications. which will be the best way to resolve these?? thank you.

If you are using TimesTen 11g then source code for a fully functional driver manager that allows you to use both direct and client/server connections at the same time from the same process is provided as part of the QuickStart; <tt_install_dir>/quickstart/sample_code/odbc_drivermgr. Although this code is only provided with TimesTen 11g it has been fully tested with TimesTen 7.0 as well.

Some subscriptions have minimum 3 months. If subscription doesn't display 1 month option then there's no other way to get 1 month at the moment

How to insert more items for each tab in WAD 7.0

Hello to everyone,
My problem is confined to the WAD 7.0
I would like to insert 4 different queries into a new Web Template.
Two of them have to stay in one page and the others in one page each; therefore, the result would be a Web Template with three tabs.
Unfortunately the system creates automatically four different tabs with one query each.
Anybody knows how to insert more items in one page/tab?

Hi Savino
In the WAD bring up the properites of the tabstrip_container web item, under the Internal Display group in the Tab Panel List, create 3 tabs, then drag 3 contatiner_layout web items into the tab web item.
In each conatiner item drag the analysis web item, 2 in the first container, then 1 each for the others, then point each analysis web item at a dataprovider(query).
Setup the contatiners so that the analysis items displays, to do this in the container properties create a row then on the following screen a column and then set the Subordinate web item to the analysis item, these web items control layout and are useful for dealing with multiple web items, for the first tab with 2 queries you will need to play with the layout, either 1 row 2 column or 2 row 1 column.
For each tab you created add the corresponding contatiner as the Subordinate Web Item in the Tab Panel parameters for each tab.
