Hi,
I have uploaded a website template folder structure to Office 365. Like this
When i click index.html the file gets downloaded to my pc. What i am trying to do is:
Open the index.html file in new tab so that i can show demo for my site template?

You can't view the html file that uploaded in the SharePoint document library or List as attachment.
If you wanted to see the html file in the SharePoint, Create the Content Editor WebPart and copy the html url in the link.(Edit the Content Editor WebPart and Check the Properties)

This is part of Lion's Resume feature (I assume you are on Lion).
A couple of things you can do: System Preferences>General and deselect 'Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps'.
Also when you shutdown or restart make sure the following is unticked:

Select any Index type and from dates select just one day or any number of days. Click "Get Details" button. This will open tabular data on loaded page (with link CSV file link at bottom).
When I click this link, it opens CSV file in new tab (in Firefox browser) and does not open download window (just as in case of other file formats like *.zip, *.rar or *.xls).
Right-click of link does not give "save as" or "save file" option.
Firefox is my preferred and default browser.

How do I open an xlsx file from a website rather than downloading it?

When I try to open an .xlsx file from a website, it downloads and does not open. Before the last update, it would just open the file. How do I get it to open when I click on it rather than just download it?

Thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately, that didn't work...it still just downloads it to the temp file and doesn't open. Any other ideas? It worked before the last update of Firefox.

Looks like your fetch_user into l_developer_role overwrites its default value and then your use of lv_developer_role in edit_user passes in null.

How to make WebView Render Html select elements as ComboBox rather than ChoiceBox

I have a dropdown of country names. The problem is whatever value is selected the dropdown always starts from top of the list, as webview is creating choceboxes for selects. I want to display ComboBox instead.
How can I accomplish this?

Unable to open .xslm file in Excel from Document Library

When selecting edit on an Excel Macro file opens Excel Web App, with the warning 'Data validation', 'VBA Project', ... click Cancel and open it in Excel, but nothing in SharePoint will allow document to open in Excel.
Using the ribbon 'Edit Document' result in an error: We're sorry, we couldn't find a program to this document.
Ideas?

Open Documents in Client Applications by Default is Active.

Let's eliminate the obvious:
Does the computer you are accessing the site with have Excel 2010 or 2013 installed?
Are you accessing the site using one of the
supported browsers: IE 8-11 (32-bit), Chrome (Latest), Firefox (Latest), Safari (Latest)?
Can you open other Office files (.xlsx, .docx, etc)?

How can I open a HTML page by pressing a button on the stage?
I've created a rollover button and I'm trying to make it open
an existing html page from the local disk (not an internet URL).
But I can't make it open with Lingo or behaviour.

Index.html = your domain's home page. There is only one home page per site.
To create a new page from your index, go to File > SaveAs > filename.html. Repeat for other site pages. Add links on your index page that lead to other site pages.
