Your iWeb data is stored, not in your actual html files, but in a file called Domain.sites which is stored in your Home/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder. If you didn't back this up, you will have to start all over.

Hello all. My Hard Drive died a few weeks ago, but luckily I backed up everything beforehand (we knew it was coming, but didn't have enough cash for a new mac before it died). Now, since I don't have a hard drive to do a migration, how do I go onto Mobile Me and get my backed up files. I saw them, and tried to download the zipped file, which worked fine, but iweb doesn't recognize that they are now on my computer.
What steps did I miss, or what should I do over?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Did you backup the Domain.sites2 file that was in your User/Library/Application Support/iWeb folder? If so, get it and place it in the iWeb folder on the new Macbook. Launch iWeb and it would find and load your site.
If you don't have a backup copy of the domain file you'll have to rebuild the site from scratch. However, Chapter 2.3 of this iWeb FAQ site has tips on using some of the published files in the reconstruction of the site.

How to write the nodevalue back to xml file?

These are two packages I used. javax.xml.parsers.*,org.w3c.dom.*
Now I use "setNodeValue("abc") to set the node value to "abc". But it is not really saved back into XML file. It only change the node value in memory.
How to write the changes back to XML file? Thank you very much for your help.

If you are syncing using iCloud, try going to System Preferences/iCloud (computers) and checking Safari. If it is checked, try deselecting it, wait 10-15 seconds, and then check it again.

Use JDeveloper to import the mwp project .In Jdeveloper,File->Import->ToplinkWorkbench->Select the .mwp file and can work from JDeveloper in editing the tlmap.xml and session.xml.

What version of iPhoto?
Select one and rotate it. Then rotate it back. Does that make it appear?
A much better work flow is the keep the photos after importing. Check the success the import, wait for at least one successful backup cycle then use you camera's format command to reformat the card

There is a default location and name for password files. When a password file is created, it should be created in that location.
n specifies the maximum number of distinct DBAs and OPERs that can be stored in the password file.
orapwd is a command line tool to create password files.

ORAPWD is a oracle utility to craete a password file to identify users that can use the SYSDBA and SYSOPER privileges when connecting to the database.Its not a GUI utility.It is run on the cmd(in windows) abd on the terminal(in unix).
To create the password file the command is

I am using js to open file using window.open method.But it is not opening but in mozilla it is showing a popup window to open or save file.

I got the impression from his phrasing that he wanted the Office documents to actually display in a browser tab like they would in IE.
Safari can't do that. Neither can Firefox, Chrome or Opera. Firefox and opera give you the option of opening the file with a native application...but it's not in the web browser so it can't be javascripted the way he's describing.
As far as I know, it's an IE-only feature.
