Is there any way to open RTF attachment with z10?

Is it attached to an email or downloaded?
Should be simple, touch and open.
If not, try opeing DocsToGo first and navigating to this RTF file to open.

How to open RTF on Z10 ?

Hello,
I very often receive attachments in RTF format. How can i open them ?
DocTogo does not work. I have been search this and other forums for answer and what i find was not working.
Apps "MyDoc2PDFConverter" will not help cause i can't install it on Z10.
Is anybody know how to open rtf attachments ?

RTF is a old microsoft only way of doing email and hardly many I deal with use it any more.
Might be best to ask the person sending to change to HTML or plain text.
I have my mail server setup to it can not send in RTF anymore.

Title: Leads -Transaction
Technical Name: com.sap.pct.crm.lea.leads

Can you be little specific on what kind of documents are these?
1. You can check if there are ways to integrate the same with KM...am not sure about CRM but yes, it can be done on BIW.
2. If these are just config documents and not that user creates, then you may save these docs into a KM folder and create a KM Navigation link assigning to users.

How to open docx attachment directly if it attached in editing forward mail

There is a mail with attachment docx file, I click forward to edit, at this moment, I want to open the attachment to check a few, but when I double-click the attachment, it always open a tmp file and ask me which application will be use. how can I disable the tmp file, just use what file is to open it?

You can not edit an attachment. The changes you make will be lost.

Where is the pdf you are trying to open? Is it on the server or the client? If the file is stored on the server then you can access it using WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT assuming it is stored in a place that has a virtual mapping. For example:
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('http://server/someLocation/file.pdf','_blank');If the file is on the client then you need to configure your application to use WebUtil. Then you can do what Francois suggested.

Can't open .rtf attachment in Outlook 2010

About couple weeks ago, I started having problems opening/saving .rtf attachments
in Outlook 2010. I have no problem with any other attachments, just .rtf
files. I've tried the Detect and Repair option, but am still unable to open
or save the .rtf file attachments. The error given tells me to check my

How to open html attachment in new window?

My application has a feature to download different types of files(pdf, xls, html)
When user clicks on the respective links, a popup with Open, Save and Cancel option will come up.
Now the problem is when the attachment is html and user clicks Open, it opens in the main window.

How to open Mail attachment in different spaces

With Snow Leopard Mail attachment stopped to open in the space to witch I assigned the related application, but keep on opening in the Mail space.
I have Mail assigned to space #1 and, for example, iWork assigned to space #3. With Leopard iWork attachments opened correctly in space #3, whereas with its successor they open in space #1.
I didn't find any option to set this right.
Besides spaces has not worked right since Mac OS X 10.6.0. It happens that even when I open documents from the Finder they open in the wrong space.
Is there any way to make it work fine, as it did with Mac OS 10.5?

First step would be to make yourself familiar with InDesign desktop version.
Whatever you intend to achieve, do it there manually. (see regular app docs or forums)
Then try to automate your steps with scripting (see scripting docs or forum)
If you can do it with a script in the desktop version, that script will likely also run in ID Server. (see server forum).
If you can specify missing features not achievable thru scripting or manual use, reconsider to write a plugin (this forum).
A seasoned C++ programmer will need a few months to learn the basics, wade thru tons of documentation etc. Alternatively consider to hire a consultant to do the development work for you.

The attachement is done in application for "order Management". We have design the xml file from "oracle reports"(RDF) and designing the layout in XML Publisher(RTF).

With regards to getting them into RTF layout, it may depend on what type of attachment they are - short/long text/URLs will be fine, file attachments (LOBs) may depend on the contents - certain types of images will be fine, other file type attachments (like PDF, DOC, etc) I'm not sure - on my list of things to look at.
