I have downloaded the nokia device updater on my PC. while installing it is giving error code 1720 line 11 col 1 with messsage Kill_process script error . how can I resolve this problem

my suggestion is to try to install windows script 5.6 from here :

and try to install the software again.

How to fix IE script errors

I am continuously getting script errors....sometimes after every key stroke I type (this just started happening about a week ago).
I've gone to the Advanced tab of the Internet Properties and found that the "Disable script debugging" box is checked....and the "Display a notification about every script error" is unchecked.....which are the recommendations I've read about on how to fix
this problem. Since these boxes are already checked/unchecked appropriately, what is causing these script error problems.....and how can I get rid of them?

Advanced section, uncheck display a notification of every script error, apply and okay.
Close and open a new window,
If it doesn't stop,
Go to the security section,
Custom level button, scroll down near the bottom and disable xss filter, apply and okay.

Thank you for your question. I understand that when you login to do your assignments a script comes up. However I do not know where it is to login.
For example, if you are logging into a website clearing the data on the mobile device can reload the script if it has become corrupt. However if the script normally runs a certain amount of time it is also possible to extend the time of the script warning. [[Warning Unresponsive script - What it means and how to fix it]]
If the script error is not an unresponsive one, please do provide the error message and I would be happy to investigate.

We are using WLE5.0.1 along with Tuxedo6.5 .Sometimes the call from a CORBA Server
to a remote BEA tuxedo service is failing .Error in ULOG is :
132855.GWTDOMAIN.8237: LIBGWT_CAT:1267: ERROR: Unable to convert old stlye network
buffer. Error code 90.
At Times,The GWTDOMAIN server dumps core(Segmentation fault 11).
On restarting this GWTDOMAIN server the same call(ie sameinput data) to the remote
TUXEDO service passes.
As the clarification given for this error,we have checked up Product versions
and they are fine(ie TUXEDO Version 6.5forWLE5.0.1 on both domains ie where the
remote Tux service is running tux6.5and the local wledomain5.0.1 for tux6.5).
Does anybody have any info in overcoming this error?

hello ljg45, this is likely caused by an outdated extension in your firefox configuration. in order to test that, you could try to launch firefox in safe mode once and see if the issue is reproducible there...

Very Slow and Script Errors

Contribute 6.5 is very slow to publish new content to our site www.mrii.ie, even bringing up a page for editing is slow. So far I have:
Tested the the FTP settings using passive and active connections.
Using an external FTP program, downloading from the site is very quick 2. I checked all the file permissions on the server and they are correct. In fact Contribute will publish the changes eventually, just very slowly prior to the actual upload which seems pretty quick.
I also used a plain page with a small amount of text and again the pre-processing seems slow.
I removed the temporary sites and configuration folders and still no change.
I created a new connection.
As an aside, how do I disable script errors in the Contribute browser window?

Tracing script errors in a projector

Hey guys....Im really struggling here
I get this script error that only happens when running as a
projector... I cant track what causes it I just know how to produce
the script error....how can I trace this? I tried doing a trace on
a debug window...but its just way to slow and I cant reproduce the
error this way? How can I track what causes the script error? Or
even suppress it because if you hit continue the movie will
continue as normal

If you pepper your code with 'put...' statements around where
you think
the error is occurring and enable a run-time message window
(_player.debugPlaybackEnabled = 1), you can narrow it down by
examining
the last message posted prior to the error and the first
after it (the
dialog box halts execution in mid-step until dismissed). You
can then
use this information to hopefully "zoom in" on where the
error is occurring.
While disabling error dialogs is possible by using 'the
alertHook', it's
obviously better to try and fix the original issue.

Script error suppression in Access 2010 Webbrowser Control

I like the WebBrowser Control have an application where I use it to do online research and save the results, but on many sites, particularly University Sites, I get script errors. This is very annoying.
How can I suppress script errors in Access 2010 WebBrowser Control. Looked at the property controls and VBA does not contain the VB Suppress...script. I am at a complete loss.
Looked and Looked for solution on internet and no dice.

As for the script errors? Unfortunately, I don't think there is a solution.
You can check + ensure that the options in Internet explorer (advanced) are set to ensure that script errors and script debugging is disabled. However, THESE SETTINGS DO NOT carry over from Internet explorer into the web control on an access form. And in
fact you might even be using Firefox browser or something else. The web control in Access has a relative high degree of independence from your actual browser setting or even what Browser you're currently using. (and in most cases this is a good thing!).
This is a native control to Access.
If you're receiving the script errors without the user doing anything at all in that browser, I don't think you have much choice here (you can check the scriipt setttings in IE, but to my knowledge they do NOT apply). You have to see if the admin of the
web site can clean up the HTML to eliminate such errors.
Another possbile is to as others here suggest - launch the browser external as hyper link.

Reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
* Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
* Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
* Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
* Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
* Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
