How to pair my IMac with my Cintiq 21UX ?

having trouble with my IMac, I'd like to pair it with my Cintiq 21Ux but i don't know how to dual the monitor !
my Imac doesnt have any DVI ports, only thunderbolt, how can i connect my Cintiq as a monitor as well ???

You should be able to purchase either the MiniDisplayPort to DVI adaptor (best) or the MiniDisplayPort to VGA adaptor (acceptable). Apple sells these parts, as do some third-party manufacturers, like Monoprice and StarLink.

MiniDisplayPort is the same connection as Thunderbolt: both work.
The Cintiq uses DVI-I to recieve signals, and should include two short cables: One VGA(male) to DVI-I (female), and one DVI-D (male) to DVI-I (female). If you are missing those cables, you will need to buy the right adapter as well.

No it is not a problem at all. It's just that you never mentioned in your original post that you even contacted the manufacturer. Have you tried "calling" them? Did the hardware come w/a user manual? If not, have you searched the net for one? Do they have their own forums?
You are using 3rd party hardware. You need to determine from the manufacturer if it's compatible w/Macs and/or your OS.

FAQ or "how to" connect to iMac with Airport????

Is there a checklist or such that shows how to allow a Windows laptop to connect with the Airport Extreme on an iMac? It works fine with multiple iPod touches and a Sony PSP but I'm unable to solve why the Windows laptops won't connect. Each laptop (there's been 3) detects the network but will not connect.

If you mean copy files from one to the other you can connect the two via firewire cable and boot one into Target Disk Mode.

I think I didn't make myself clear. My bluetooth device is paired. If I turn the device OFF while keeping it ON in the iPhone 4, and later on come back and put the device ON, the iPhone doesn't find it. The solution is to turn it OFF in both the bluetooth device and the iPhone and start again, which was not the case with my previous iPhone 3 and is a real pain to have to do this each time... Another option is to just use the rsync thats included in CCC. Just d/l CCC (http://www.bombich.com/), and navigate to rsync in the App (Carbon\ Copy\ Cloner.app/Contents/MacOS/ccc_helper.app/Contents/MacOS/rsync) and copy this rsync to /usr/local/bin/ on your machine
My original issue is that using the -E option appears to result in a full, rather than incremental copy of all files.
What rsync options are you using? If you're using -a, then --perms (-p) is enabled, and -E in not needed ( -E, --executability: This option causes rsync to preserve the executability (or non-executability) of regular files when --perms is not enabled.)
