How to pass db source data to condition of add command ?

Question

I add a command (select * from abc where a='xy') to report,
and I want to pass field (order number) of table xyz to 'xy'.
How to do it?
abc is one sql table ,  xyz is another table.

why not you link them in the Links section
link xy of the add command to xy of the table.
is it hard?
i mean
in the add Command
select xy from sometable
and in the table there is a field called xy
so in the links, you can link them together.
