How to paste pictures into mail

If I copy a picture from Photos and paste it into an email it shows as a document. Is there any way to paste it in so that the photo actually shows?

There are a number of apps that you can use to crop photos (e.g. Adobe Photoshop Express), and with iOS 5 in the Autumn we should be able to crop photos in the Photos app itself (http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos)
I assume that there are also photo apps that can re-size photos, not that I've got one.

I think I got it to working, IMbatman13folllowing the directions from that thread.
I created a signature on my laptop. Included a png in it.
Sent an email with that signature to myself on my iPhone. I did not put a message in the body.
Opened it up on iPhone. Selected entire 'body'. Copied all.
Went into Settings, Signatures, Selected a different email account, pasted in what I had copied.
And it worked.

Trying to paste pdf into mail and keep links active

I've created a pdf in iWork with active links. When I copy and paste it into Mail the links stop working. Anyone know how to keep the links active?

You attach pdfs to email. I have never met a pdf reader that works inside a mail client.
Links, inactive or not, are a separate problem. Under what circumstances do they not work for you?

How to copy picture into email from iPhoto 9.6 (910.29) after OS X Yosemite download

Hi.
Since updating to Yosemite on MacBook Air when I try to copy and paste a photo from iPhoto to an email instead of the photo coming up in the email, which it has always done, I get something like this pasted in the email ...file:111Users/Pictures?iPhoto%20Library/Previews/2014/09/11/20140911144300/u kEgw etc etc etc ... ending in .jpg.
How please do I now send a picture in an aol email, or what do I untick or tick, to change the above figures and numbers to the actual photo, so when I copy and paste a photo from iPhoto, the picture comes up in an aol email and not gobbledegook (sorry computer bods!!!) figures and numbers!!

Well, I will tackle the picture problem and see what I can learn. I am in Los Gatos, California (Silicon Valley) and there is an Apple store 2 miles away so I will go in ask them about this. It will take me a couple of days to get that done likely. Frankly, I have the same general problem about pasting stuff into that screen where you are writing emails. Something amiss here.
I am unfamiliar with the problem you have with BlueTooth interfering with WiFi and think that is likely specific to you, or more likely something completely different that LOOKS like a Bluetooth related problem. I am normally and right this minute running a BlueTooth keyboard and mouse and the computer is a MacBook Pro connected via WiFi through an Apple Extreme router to the internet and to my printer. I have had no issues that I know of between BlueTooth and WiFi. The same is true for the iPad and a bluetooth keyboard which communicates by WiFi with this home network and my iPhone and Bluetooth headset that I use adjacent to the computer. All this worked "right out of the box" so to speak

How to Sort Pictures Into Events in iPhoto

Hi,
I have different events listed in my iPhoto based on the dates that I imported the pictures. I'm trying to sort the pictures into specific events but I keep having problems. I've tried flagging the pictures and then the adding flagged photos to selected events, or to selecting multiple events and then dragging and dropping the pictures, and cuting pictures from one event to another event and pasting them. The problem with all of these is that they keep bringing other pictures with them. So say I'm trying to take 10 photos from the Winter Photos event and put them into the Summer Photos event, I end up getting something like 18 that move with them -- and these additional 8 aren't selected, they tend to be ones in between the first and last of the 10 that I selected. When selecting multiples, I either flag them or use the command + click option. So I'm selecting pictures 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, and 10 from Winter Photos, and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 and 10 get moved. Is there any way to avoid this?
I know that I could use the Albums instead of Events, but I like the Events option much better -- it's in the library and it's easier to view them all together that way. If I can move some pictures, I should be able to move them without ones getting moved accidentally. This also happens even if I just move one picture at a time, through any of these ways.
I've also checked the discussion board and there's nothing that specifically addresses the issue of photos getting accidentally moved that I could find.

Anyt chance that you have the "additional" photos flagged - before adding flagged photos to selected event click on the flagged photos in the source pane on the left - verfy what is flagged and then select an event and add to selected event - are only the correct photos added?
And personally I suggest albums since with albums you can build a tree structure using folders - events only offer a flat orginazation

I could not understand the line:
CALL METHOD OF gs_cells 'Select' = select.
Is it used for insert picture? It does not seems to be...
And in my program, the SY-SUBRC is 4 after run:
CALL METHOD OF gs_picture 'Insert'
EXPORTING
#1 = 'C:\TEMP\Picture.bmp'.
Of course my file path is correct, and the picture path is in my own coumputer rather than SAP server. Is that the problem?

How to paste 'picture in picture'

In the project browser, I have cut a clip which I now wish to paste as 'picture in picture' onto another clip in the project browser. The cut clip will readily paste next to the clip I want to paste into, but is there an option to paste as 'picture in picture', and if so how do I activate that option when pasting?
Also - is there a way, having created a 'picture in picture' in the project browser, to reverse the effect so that the main picture becomes the smaller inlay and vice versa?

First, go to iMovie/Preferences, and make sure that the Advanced Tools are enabled.
Next, it will be easiest to drag a clip from the Event Browser and drop it on the main clip in the Project to form a Picture in Picture. When you drop the clip there, it will cause a popup menu to appear. Choose Picture in Picture.
You should see your clip from your project in the Event Browser with a orange line underneath, so it should be easy to find.

I'm posting on behalf of a friend. He tells me that when he copies an image (e.g., from within Safari) and pastes into the body of a Mail message, this results in a link not the image.
However, when I receive the message, I see the image in the body.
The question is, is there a way to have the image appear in the email message he's composing vs. a hyperlink?
N.B. when copying the image he is choosing "Copy Image" not "Copy Link"

He could just drag-and-drop the image from Safari to his desktop, then drag-and-drop it to the email (or use Add Attachment). Or maybe he could just drag-and-drop it straight from Safari into a new email, without copy-and-pasting at all?

Problem pasting picture into Photoshop

Yesterday, I went into Google images and copied pics and then used the paste option in Photoshop.
Today, when I select a picture in Google, select Select All and Copy and then go into Photoshop the Paste option does not seem to be available. I am not sure if I have turned something on or locked something in Photoshop.
Can anyone help. Please be specific re: icons or options I need to select because I am very new with Photoshop and don't know what most mean.

I was able to copy pictures in Google yesterday and paste with no problem. I need to do a search to find something in Google and then when I find it, I open the picture up large and then copy it.
I then go into Photoshop and paste it but again this is not working today.

I've made a java-application and with a click on a button, I jump to a drawprogram.
When I've finished my picture, copied it to the clipboard(ctrl c), I want to show it in my application.
How can I do this and in which component must I paste it?

There isn't a way to do it that is part of Lightroom. There is a plug-in that might help you, though. Check it out here: Locktastic
It doesn't say if its compatible with LR4, but you can try it to find out.
Plug-ins aren't usually as efficient as built-in functionality (like PM), but it might be a solution for you.

Pasting photos into mail

Pasting a photo into an email doesnt work. I m able to paste one or more pictures but my iphone wont send the entire email. Everything after the pasted image is missing: text I wrote, the "sent from my iphone" and the email history. Anyone expierenced the same problem? Thx

I just discovered I am having this exact same problem. Is this a known issue? Does anyone know of any solutions? It also happens if I send a picture in an email through the Photos app using the "Email Photo" option.
