when I used
adobe acrobat 6.0, I can paste the text box in the same position in the next page, it is very useful for editing files with similiar information. after I use acrobat 9.0, I found that I can not paste the text box in the same position in the next page. do you know whether the 9.0 can realize the function of "paste in the same position"?

I am using adobe acrobat 9.0, when I use object select tool " the arrow pointing 11 clock", I can not find Duplicate command. Mr./Ms. try67, can you realize the function of paste in the same position? very thanks for your reply and help.

Changing text features (font, point size etc) in multiple text boxes at the same time

That pretty much says it all: I'm using pages for some simple initial rendering to send my graphic designer and it would save me some time if I could change the font & point-size for all the various text boxes at the same time.

Creating 3 links each with pop-up text box on the same slide

Hi,
I'm trying to create a slide that has 3 links and each link has a pop-up text box. I do not want to separate the pop-up text into separate slides. I have it so that there are 3 click boxes and each have the action "show" the proper text box. I also created another click box that acts as a close button where the action is to hide the pop-up box. I have an extra click box hidden on the page to make sure the user stays on the page and not automatically advance.
Once I have the user click on the first "link" it shows the text box. Once the user clicks the close click box it takes the user to the next slide. I just need it so that it shows the user the pop-up text and then when the user closes the pop-up and returns to showing the 3 options/links. So it basically refreshes the slide instead of going to the next slide.

This will be a little tricky to achieve. This is because per default Adobe has decided that any interactive object (like a button or a click box) that has a user defined action on it (like continue, pause, open URL etc.) automatically continues to play the project when clicked.
Therefore when you click your button it will show your textbox, but it will also continue to play on your timeline.

I did something similar to what you want one time and I just created a bunch of click boxes and made them very small and put them in a corner. The click boxes were placed on the timeline with 0.2 seconds between the pauses. Then I created my "real" buttons to show/hide the text boxes and placed them on the timeline before the other click boxes.
The result is that once a user clicks your button it will show the text caption you want - continue on the timeline and pause at the first click box. When they click another button the same will happen. Just make sure that you have a lot of click boxes (I think I put like 30) and make sure that your navigation button for advancing to the next slide is set to "go to next slide" and not "continue" as that would make it pause at all your click boxes as well.

I bought iTunes music on two separate iTunes accounts. How do I merge them into the SAME library?

I just got a new computer, so I am setting up my iTunes. The problem is, I have purchased music from iTunes on two separate accounts. I remember there was a reason why I created the second account several years ago, but I can't remember what the reason was.
Anyway, I would like to merge these two accounts into ONE library. I know on the old iTunes I just signed in to one account, it automatically loaded my music into the library, I signed out of that account, signed into the OTHER account, and then it automatically loaded the music from THAT account into the library, so I had both. However, it doesn't seem as if you can do this on the new iTunes.
Is there any way I can merge the two accounts or am I screwed?

Where is all of the music now?
Just copy it all to the same computer.

How to open a file in the same position on display when closing

Not sure if this is the right place, so I apologize in advance:
Whenever I open my text edit files, they always open in the same place in the display; how can I get these files (or any files for that matter) to open at the display position where they're last closed?

Unless the App stores window position data for a file, which I doubt, there isn't a way.
Apps can store their default window position. Normally that is done by opening a document window in the app, moving and resizing it, then closing the window.
There isn't an OS-wide setting for window positions.

Export your Pages 5 files to Pages '09 or Word .docx and trash/archive Pages 5.

I have a successful import process going now (DTD, EDD, ReadWriteRules, and Template) that imports a number of elements, but each onto a separate line. I now need to import three elements in a row on a single line. How do I set up to do that?

A container element a structured document can either be a paragraph element, that contains one or more complete FrameMaker paragraphs (elements corresponding to chapters, titles, and list items, for instance, are typically paragraph elements), or a text range element, with content that comprises part of a paragraph. An EDD doesn't need to identify paragraph elements since containers are paragraphs by default. You make an element a text range with a text format rule that specifies TextRangeFormatting.
In your case, if you have a wrapper element that contains the three elements you want to appear on a single line, in the EDD, add a text format rule for the three inline elements that specifies TextRangeFormatting; specify the formatting of the overall paragraph in the element definition for the wrapper. If you don't have a wrapper, though, the overall paragraph will inherit formatting from whatever the containing element is; the containing element may be the document's root element or a major division such as a chapter or section. If that element's formatting is not what you want here, you can leave the "inline" elements as separate paragraph so that you can specify their formatting, but make the first two run-in heads (which is done in the Placement property of the pagination properties).

Edit images of acrobat and paste them into the same position

I have a problem when I want to paste an image edited with photoshop acrobat this is pasted into another position or inverted.

We perform image editing by right clicking, then edit, then modified it in photoshop and acrobat flight to return to, but change the position or inverted.
I was told that when you edit the default decision of the new sheet created in photoshop and that is why to paste into adobe changes.

How can I to return to the same position on a web page where I left it, rather than automatically getting returned to the top of the page?

It's annoying to keep returning automatically to the top of a web page that I often navigate away from--eg, Google News--rather than to the position I was at when I left it. I've looking over the Firefox settings and can't find where the default can be changed.

Try holding down the ALT key while you hit the left arrow key.
But in some cases, the webmaster may have configured the page to load from the beginning again. There's not much you can do about that unfortunately.

Is there a way to create a link within a document that will pull text from the document and open it up in a separate text box within the document?

I am trying to link sections of an form within a PDF back to instructions within the same PDF document. Instead of having this jump back to the page within the document I would like for it to pull up the identified text within a separate pop-up text box on the same page where the form lives. Is this possible?
