How to patition of 0PUR_C01

hi, guys
i want partition a standard cube of 0PUR_C01 (0FISCPER)
for perfomance improment . how can do this and also i want add a field of partner function in to the same cube how can i do this .
can any can help me the above topics.

Hi
If you have 0CALMONTH or 0FISCPER in your info cube then you can do partitioning either on one.
Go to Edit mode of cube-> Extras-> Partitioning -> here select the radio button 0CALMONTH or 0FISCPER -> in next screen given the value range (from-to) or number of partitions.
You can add the infoobject to cube using edit->characteristics tab-> transfer the infoobject from template to structure -> assign it to suitable dimension & save the infocube. Then activate the update rules for this cube.

Uneven distribution

Hi All,
I have a cluster of arond 100 storage nodes and 30 proxy nodes. I have taken available memory and max memory from NodeMBeans.
Some of the nodes in the cluster are at 85% some other at 60-65%. I am using coherence 3.3.
Is this is the expected behavior of Coherence ? Is this is the right way of measuring STORAGE nodes usage ?
What are the possible cacuses of uneven distribution ? how can we avoid it ?

You are approaching it from the wrong side. The unit of data distribution in Coherence distributed cache services is a partition. There is a master copy of each partition. There are configurable (with the backup-count configuration element) number of backup copies of each partitions (by default one copy exists), as long as number-of-nodes >= 1 + backup-count. The backup and the primary copy never resides on the same node, and ultimate goal is that they never reside on the same physical box either. This latter may not always be achievable, e.g. if all your nodes are on the same box.
What should I do to blance the load more evenly on the whole cluster? Whenever the node is reaching 85% memory utilization the chances of getting OOM's/JVM crash are more.
In this situation you most likely need to increase the total available memory preferably with starting more nodes. You may also need to increase partition-count, but that alone may not reliably solve your problem.

Before you get now in trouble, take a quick look at this:
just an example for windows
alter tablespace <your_tablespace>
add datafile 'free_harddisk:\your_folder\datafileX.extension'
size 200M autoextend on next 200M maxsize 2000M;and now hit the road ;)

How to format flash drive to be compatible with Mac and PC

Hey guys, I was stupid and formatted my 8G flash drive to a different format by accident. Not FAT32 which it was originally. It originally worked find with my Mac and PC. I can't get it back now. I went into Disk Utility and the only way I can format it back is to MS-DOS(FAT) and all the other Apple formats. When I erase it to MS-DOS(FAT) and plug it into my PC it comes up and wants to format it to a 200MB FAT32 patition?? How can I solve this? Thanks

Hi,
FAT32 (called MS-DOS in OSX Disk Utility) is the file system to use for compatibility with Mac and PC.
The "200MB partition" message you get also indicates that you changed the partition scheme on the flash drive to GPT (GUID Partition Table).
Use Disk Utility to verify this and if needed change the partition scheme back to MBR (Master Boot Record).

How do I setup the HP recovery partition on a drive that has been erased of it’s HP tools recovery partition like in the recovery patition size needed on the harddrive and how it should be setup like in should it be set as Active,Logical,Primery,etc etc etc
I get the following errow when trying to restore from my recovery disks I made with HP phone support

The Recovery partition is recreated when doing a successfull reinstall from the Recovery Disks.
Enter BIOS by tapping away at the F10 key immediately after powering on. Is all system info complete there?

How to restore mac to single partition?

Im shure this question has been aked before, however I am unable to find an anser to my specific problem.
I am trying to restore to a single OS X Mountain Lion patition on a iMac mid 2011 after allocating 300 GB to a seperat partition for Ubuntu. That 300 GB has been partitioned into 8 partitions, afer 3 or more installs of Ubuntu. When i try to erase the partitions i get errors like too small, un readable, unrecognized, etc. They are all blank. Is there any way to restore to one partition without wiping the hard drive and reinstalling mountain lion and using time machine for data on Macintosh HD partition? If not could you give me pointers and tips on how to wipe, reinstall, and restore to backup?

PS the hard drive is 1 tb and 700 GB for OS X has been untouched exept for resize for 300 extra partition.

guys, i have customised the infocube (0PUR_C01)by adding the additional info object , i want populate the data (using updaterule) in to infocube with out loosing current data for hte added info object .
can any help this, how to write updaterule

Hi Ramanathan,
If you need historical data for the newly added info object, you'll have to intitialize again from the source system.
That means you'll have to delete the data and load it again from the source.
If you don't want to delete the data, you can create an Export data source of the existing cube(say Cube A)
and load the data to another cube(Say Cube B which is a copy of A).
Then you can delete the data from Cube A and add the required info objects to cube.
Then you have to create an Export data source of Cube B and load data back to Cube A from B.
It depends on your business requirements.
<b>Since you don't want Historical data for the newly added info object,
there's no need to delete the existing data.
Add the new info object and maintain the Update rules for this new info Object.
The new records will be have values for this Info Object depending on the routine
you specify in the update rules.</b>

we are using cube 0pur_c01 and in the update routine for 2LIS_02_SCL ,
in the update routines its calculating 'Actual goods receipt quantity' through some routine but we are not able to get it can anyone let me know how its calculating the actual goods receipt quantity.

Init load to 0pur_C01 and 0pur_c04

Hi MM Gurus,
I have activated both cubes in our BI 7.0 system Cube 0pur_c01 for detailed reporting, *C04 for the purchasing groups.
When I am filling both cubes at the same time by using infosources
2LIS_02_HDR, 2LIS_02_ITM, 2LIS_02_SCL the requests in the cube 0pur_c04 stay on QM status yellow: "indifferent, not yet finished".
And the requests are not visible for the reporting without QM action.
The requests of the other cube 0pur_c01 have status green.
I also loaded data in full update mode to the cube 0pur_c04 wih the same result.
The results seem to be correct in reporting,
even on the detailed view in the package all is green - only the overall status is yellow.
Anyone an idea how to get these requests automaticaly to status green?

Follow the steps below.
Please do this,
Go to Your Cube/ODS manage Data Targets screen
Select Environment Menu >> Automatic Request Processing
Select the option Selt Quality status to OK
Save the settings, when prompted for Transport Request, create a new request and transport across.

How to merge partitions in Windows 7 ?

i have partitions C and D. My problem in that C is smoler than D. How can i move some space to C from D or to merge this partitions?

I’m assuming D is just a data partition and doesn’t contain the page file, boot files or a second operating system. If so, merge the partitions by removing D and extending C, as follows:
1. Back up to an external device any important data on D and, optionally, move the same important data from D to C.
2. Right-click Computer > Manage > Storage > Disk Management, then right-click the graphic of the D partition and select Delete. The partition returns to Unallocated for a Primary Partition or Free Space if it‘s a Logical Drive within an Extended
Partition. Delete the partition if it is an Extended partition.
3. Now right-click the graphic of the C partition and select Extend.
I just had to restore an HP with Window 7 Pro using their factory supplied restoration discs. At no time did the set up ask me about formating or patitions. It overrode the primary parition I created and it ended up setting up 4. The 1st is a
system area, 2nd is the HP backup partition, 3rd is C: and the 4th unallocated. C is only 100gb, the 4th has the remaining of the 1tb drive.
Right clicking on C: within the manager and "Extend" is grayed out.

0GR_VAL has not mapped with source in 0Pur_C01

Which datasource you are using at present. Normally 0PUR_C01 gets loaded from 2LIS_02_ITM and 2LIS_02_SCL. The keyfigure that you have mentioned will come from 2LIS_02_SCL with the code that you have written.
The code that you have written should work. Please check if the code is in the transformation from 2LIS_02_SCL.
Share the details on why do you think the solution didn't work.

If I want to break them in 7 equal partition as per the primary key,how do i achieve this?

I probably don't understand it...but I would say:
5543201/7=791886
range 1 : 0....791886 (1x 791886)
range 2 : 791887....1583772 (2 x 791886)
range 3 : 1583773 .... (3 x 781886)
tange 4 : ......
HoweverI doubt whether this is a smart aproach for partitioning.
I would say that a patitioning on date, or some key-value is more applicable.
But hey...I don't know the further requirements.

2).then come to bi side .
3).t-code rsorbct.
4).you must have an idea about your app component .i..e that app belongs to sd or mm or hr or finance .
5).if it belongs to purchasing select infoobj and select supply chain management ,select purchasing.
6).select char and key fig,drag and drop it into right side component .
7).select info provider select supply chain management and select your cube .
8).how to find cube .that is cube like 0pur_c01,c02,c03,c04 like that select any of the cube and drop in to right side component .
9).now installation part.
10).select source system top side and select your source ecc 6.0, select component and select install/activate.
11).now your cube is ready to use .create package for full,initialize ,delta.ok
