How to pay the employees their arrears

my company is using ukhrms. 11.5.10.2
i want the system to compute the earnings and deductions for an assignment set that i have already created. payment of the arrears is as of begining of the financial year i.e. january 2009.
note the arrears that i want to compute are for 6 month starting from jan.
how can i achieve this?

1) You can use the relation '002' in the table HRP1001, between the position of developer (objid) and get the position of team lead (sobid field). With the position of the team lead got in SOBID field... with the relation '008' get the person name.
2) You can use the transaction PPOM_OLD to view the reporting structure...

How to show the employee's organizational unit in remuneration statement?

Hi experts,
I'm working on a payslip,and there are two questions to ask:
1.How to show the employee's organizational unit in remuneration statement? I didn't find a right table and right field to realize it.
2.I tried to show the notification in payslip by infotype 0128, but it didn't work. Is there any tips?

You can get orgunit from Orgassignment table (pa0001-orgeh).
Otherwise you can get it from hrp1001 table. querying like

How to Pay the difference amount after Change in Grade

Hi,
I have pay element which has global values for different grades.
GRADE E = 10000
GRADE F= 15000
Payment for allowance is happening once in a year, but we need to pay the additional amount if employee is moved from grade E to F.
But the change can be back-dated also.
How do i handle this?
How do i find out if there was change in band and whether did i pay the difference amount?

I want to group all the employees under one manager and list their names in the same row. IS that possible. When i tried the query below,

I got the result as

Additionally, would I be able to display the names of the employees under one manager in a row? or atleast in some other way? Pls share your ideas.

How to identify the employee who logged-in using a view in peoplesoft?

I have a View in peoplesoft, that says
SUPERVISOR_ID = ' ' somewhere in the SQL. How do I keep this dynamic so that, it will identify the employee who logs into the system and assigns that id to supervisor_id field.
I know we can use %EmployeeID in peoplecode.

Peopletools has this built in out of the box. Add field OPRID to the record and set it as key and not a listitem and Peopletools will automatically add a where clause to the view based on the current user.
After this change the view sql to join to Oprid.
If you do not want to add OPRID field you can use a dynamic view to fill the supervisorid with %employeeid.
If thid is a search record you can also use SearchInit event to set supervisorid to %employeeid.
Al lot of differt possibilities, depends one what you want to use.

How to transfer the employees from one org unit to another org unit in OM.

Hi Experts,
I have a task of changing the employees, Positions & Jobs, from one Organization Unit to another Org unit, in the OM. I have around 50 position & Jobs and employees to be moved. Please suggest me how do I go about.
I tried doing through PPOME (Org. and Staffing) but it is a lengthy procedure please suggest if there is an alternate option to do so in OM.

First of all I recommend to open a new discussion and not to post in a old-date one.
Anyway, You can do it either PA40 or OOPME.
In PA40 you should select an appropriate action like :Org. Change", "Promotion" and so on. In fact it depends what do you have in you action list.
In PPOME you can do it by drag and drop also. Just take care about effective date. First you should select the right date in top of the screen.

How to track the employee expense incurred by various employees

My Client want to track the employee expense incurred by various employees. We cannot use the Cost Centers as these are used by us for cost allocations for different business units.
In SAP ECC, there is some concept called internal order but how to manage in SAP Business one ? We are not using any HRMS add-on.
One alternative solution what we thought is ; Create employee as Vendor with seperate vendor group and restrict it in normal screens i.e. Purchase order/ AP Invoice

The execute immediate is unnecessary and should be removed.
Then simply

How to view the employee image in Selfservice?

I'm trying to view the employee image in Selfservice.
The idea is the following:
- When we enter in Preferences Menu --> Person Search Menu
- Then Customize for HR User --> Level : Responsability
(we choose a responsibility associed to Preferences) and then, inside the "advanced properties" for the columns we can associate an URL to the column we want...
- The idea is to associate an image (photo) to the employee number.. so we could use an url link to the blob column stored in fnd_lobs if the employee image would be stored as an attached document for the employee... or... a link to show the image column (lon raw) in per_images table... (I think this would be more difficult)
What I don't know ... how to do is how to show the image.. (how to build the url through the customization of the fnd_gfm.get procedure....
Another doubt in relation with that is..
When we show the image stored as an attachment in fndattch form, the internet explorer opens with the url
http://my_domain:8000/pls/my_project/fndgfm/fnd_gfm.get/42387354799/423868/fnd_gfm.jpg
the last number: 423868 is the file_id in fnd_lobs but... how about the other? how is it generated? Have this some relation with the problem to show with download_blob....?

the "Employee Directory" shows you the photos by default. Should not be that hard to add an url via personalizations that points to that directory.

Excuse me.My sister just received the email indicated that she needed to pay the termination charge for her account. The email said she could pay it online by using www.o2.co.uk/myo2account, but she was not able to remember that account.Then I tried to reset password by sending a link to her mailbox that she received the reminding email mentioned before (I thought that should be the email address associated with that account), but the link was not valid. Furthermore, she went back to China one month ago and could not use her UK sim card anymore.So how can I pay that bill for her overdue account online? You need the account holder to be present which I assume is her?
The SIM card needs to be in an O2 UK phone or an unlocked handset.
Call customer services from a landline, they will need to reconnect the sim &'account for £15 then the termination fee as well

You can see all the employees coming under particular position in SOBID field.

How to automate the employees info. from R/3 to xRPM for object type P

We need to automate the employees information (new/change) whose object type (P) from R/3 system to xRPM system (CProject component).
We did ALE distribution model with the message type (HRMD_ABA) and able to achieved distribution(R/3 -> xRPM) thru manual step using PFAL transaction. I have no issues on this part.
Now we want to automate the same process to distribution(R/3 -> xRPM) that whenever employees have been created/change in R/3.
By using standard program RBDIDOC which can be achieve by defining background job with message type HRMD_ABA. But it pulls all the object types for the given message type at selection screen. But i am interested only employees with object type P.
There is no much provision existed to restrict only for employees with object type (P).
Systems Release version details:
Source(R/3 system version): SAP R/3 Enterprise
Target(xRPM: SAP ECC 6.0 with HR component: 6.00)
Any help would be appreciated...

The above query from Ashish is fine for a quick one-off query, but for any production-quality code you should always surround SYSDATE with the TRUNC function when comparing to Effective Start and End Dates. The reason for this is SYSDATE includes a Time component; however, the DateTrack APIs ensure that the Effective Start and End Date columns do not, ie: they have a Time component of *00:00:00* (midnight). If you don't use the TRUNC function you can potentially miss records in your query whose Effective End Date is on the same day as SYSDATE, as the time component of SYSDATE will be after midnight.
For example:
Assignment ID = 123
Effective Start Date = 01-Jan-2012 00:00:00
Effective End Date = 18-May-2012 00:00:00
WHERE SYSDATE BETWEEN asg.effective_start_date AND asg.effective_end_date
At this moment SYSDATE = 18-May-2012 09:41:22
...which is after the Assignment's Effective End Date, even though in reality the record should have been included in the result set.
