How to perform functions between tables on the same sheet in Numbers?

I have been working in Numbers creating a worksheet. On one sheet I have multipule tables, with one table it has functions that uses cells from other tables.
When I first created it, it worked fine with 3 tables. Now that I am trying to add more cells from other tables as functions in the main table, it is not working properly. It's not even highlighting the added cell in the function as it did when I created it. Can someone explain what has changed for this to happen.

In Numbers'09, when you point and click on the same cell for the second (third, etc.) time in the same expression (formula), you must hold down the Command key as you do it. Otherwise the subsequent references to that cell won't register. I know you believe that the problem began with adding more than three tables, but I'll bet that the actual problem is with the multiple occurrences of the same cell in one expression.
Just remember to hold down the Command key for additional references to a given cell and you should be OK.

Hey guys,
I'm in Uni on Final Cut Pro 5 and all the videos and discussions tell of how to apply transitions between clips in the same track.
I like to have my clips on different tracks so that I can overlap them at specific points but I don't know how to do this?
If I have track one. . .which ends. . .and have track 2 beginning below that (and have it overlapped for a few seconds) I don't know how to enable the transition at the point where track 2 begins.
Can anyone help?

Let's say I overlap track 2 as I don't like the beginning of it. . .so I want the transition from the end of track one to track two to occur in the middle of track 2 - should I just trim the track to the point I want the transition to occur as opposed to have it overlapping?

I have created 2 separate database tables in PHP/MySQL that I want to store user information in. The first user table I made the fields: id, username, password. The second table I made the fields: id, firstname, lastname, address, phone.
I want to make an update record page that is restricted by username and password that will update both table1 and table 2 from my MySQL database.
I have created a registration page, a login page and a restricted page for when the user signs in. On the restricted page I want to update the users information.
I have tried a few things and I can get the table that has the username field to update, I just can't get the second table to update with the first table.

Since both tables have an id column and they both are the primary key, do I just change the name of the second tables id column to "user_id" then?
Or is there an actual "insert the primary key to another table" function that I don't know about?

I have the following 2 tables....

Notes

added_on date not null
added_by varchar2(30) not null
note varchar2(4000)
emp_id number not null
PK = note_id
FK = emp_id
I want to do an insert into both tables via the application and also via the same page (with one button link). I have made a form to add an employee with an add button - adding an employee is no problem.
Now, on the same page, I have added a html text area in another region, where the user can write a note. But how do I get the note to insert into the Notes table when the user clicks the add button?
In other words, when the user clicks 'add', the employee information should be inserted into the Employees table and the note should be inserted into the Notes table.
How do I go about doing this?

My pl/sql code is the same as posted earlier.
Upon inserting data into the forms and clicking the add button, I get this error...

How do I share between users on the same macbook?

I have a brand new macbook... the tool at the store wouldn't let me test drive this computer without him first putting a user account in place other than administrative rights (makes no sense to me either) Anyway, I set everything up under this username and now I have established another Admin account under MY Apple ID... as it still references his name in all of the root files. I am pretty intuitive in how to handle this issue......if it were a PC... bare with me . I'm learning.
I surmise that I am able to back everything up and simply wipe the computer as a fix but I am trying to do everything short of that if possible....

It is true, of course, that since Version 8.0 Oracle has provided the ability to create a Keep Pool in the Buffer Cache, which certainly sounds like it can do the job... especially since that word 'keep' is used again. But a keep pool is merely a segregated part of the buffer cache, into which you direct blocks from particular tables (by creating them, or altering them, with the BUFFER POOL KEEP clause). So you can tuck the blocks from such tables out of the way, into their own part of the buffer cache... but that is not the same thing as guaranteeing they'll stay there. If you over-populate the Keep Pool, then its LRU mechanism will kick in and age its contents out just as efficiently as an unsegregated buffer cache would.
Functionally, therefore, there can be no guarantees. The best you can do is create a sufficiently large Keep Pool, and then choose the tables that will use it with care such that they donâ€™t swamp themselves, and start causing each other to age out back to disk.

I’ve created a PHP site and MySQL server using a free app called XAMPP. I have successfully created a form in Dreamweaver that will write data to a (name) table in the SQL database. Here’s my question: How do you write to two (or more) tables in the same database and pass the same primary key to both tables? In the SQL database, I defined the first field as ID and set it as the primary key with auto update. So, when you insert a new record, it creates a unique primary key for that record. In my form, I’m capturing info that needs to be stored to two tables at the same time; a Name table and Address table. Since the Name and Address tables use the ID field as the primary key, I believe I will need to pass the ID value from the Name table to the insert of the Address table to insure they both have the same primary key, right?

No. You probably need the primary key from one table to be a foreign key in the other tables. In any case, I believe you can use two methods to obtain the auto generated key. First with SQL:

Oracle 8i supports 'INSTEAD OF' triggers on object views so you could use a process similar to the following:
1. Create an object view that joins your two tables. 'CREATE OR REPLACE VIEW test AS SELECT d.deptno, d.deptname, e.empname FROM DEPT d, EMP E'.
2. Create an INSTEAD OF trigger on the view.
3. Put code in the trigger that looks at the :NEW values being processed and determines which columns should be used to INSERT or UPDATE for each table. Crude pseudo-code might be:
IF :NEW.deptno NOT IN (SELECT deptno FROM DEPT) THEN
INSERT INTO dept VALUES(:NEW.deptno, :NEW.deptname);
INSERT INTO emp VALUES (:NEW.deptno, :NEW.empname);
