  • How to place an MP3 in muse

I am trying to place a few MP3 into muse and have tried the sites that where mentioned, soundcloud, wimpy, and etc.  And nothing is working and I have tried researching the web why and I followed those instructions and still no luck after 2 hours.  Can someone please help.

    Hi,
Please refer to the following kb article that talks about adding MP3 files to a site,
How can I post or add a PDF, DOC, MP3 or other file on my site for visitors to download?
This explains how you can add them so that users can download. If you want to embed a player you will have to get the code for the player and insert it as html in your muse file. To do that you will have to go to Object menu and click on insert HTML.
For more functionalities that you might get with player, you will have to contact the provider. Muse can only insert your HTML but using Muse you will not be to further customize or style the player, after adding it to the .muse file.

  • How to place index.html at root level

I've published my website using iweb and published it on me.com. I did the other steps for the CNAME etc.
I'm trying to set up my website so I don't have to type www before domain name. It works fine with it but without it, the page appears which says in effect that it's under construction probably from the domain registrar I'm guessing.
I feel stupid asking this but I tried dragging the index.html file to the sites folder and only a copy appeared. It didn't work when I checked url.
Also, if I create the index.html which redirects to the homepage, where do I find the code to change it? Can someone give me directions? Thanks for your help.

This has nothing to do with index files and you don't need to do anything with it - you are making all more complex than it actually is or needs to be.
Whether you get to your site using the www or not is purely a CNAME forwarding issue and you domain name registrar is where you need to fix this.
Go to the DNS settings at your registrar, where I assume you went when first setting up forwarding? All registrars are different, but with some you need to delete the A records that are there already and set up CNAME. What you would need to do is set up 2 CNAME's, one for the www and one for @.
@ represents your domain name on its own, so http://domain.com. Set this up as @, CNAME web.me.com.
www represents your sub-domain, so http://www.domain.com. Set this up as www, CNAME web.me.com and then people should then be able to get to your url by using either domain.com or www.domain.com.
There is no need to set up any kind of forwarding or fiddle around with your index file. Simply change your CNAME forwarding and it should work.

    Hi,
There are multiple ways in which you can add the HTML code to your site. Few methods are :-
    1) Copy your HTML code, In Muse -> Select Objects-> Insert HTML . Paste your HTML code on the page.  Please reer to this screenshot :- http://prntscr.com/52vprn
    2) If you want to add the HTML code in the Head section of your page, Go to Page Properties-> Metadata-> HTML for <Head> .    Please refer to this screenshot :- http://prntscr.com/52vpx5

  • Extension .HTM instead of .HTML, How can I change that in MUSE?

I'm rebuilding an excisting website that all the pages use the extension .HTM, instead of .HTML, How can I change that in MUSE?

Unfortunately it would not be possible to change the extesion of the pages from .html to .htm.
We do not have that option available in Muse. Muse only generates .html extension.

  • How to place a link to a .crt file in the HTML code?

    Hello,
I followed the 10 famous steps for the creation of a self-signed applet. My problem is at step 10:
"Place a link to the .crt file (created in step 4) in the HTML-File.
This .crt file has to be opened by the browser and has to be set to
    trusted,
as the root CA for testing is not known to the browser."
I do not know how to modify the HTML code.
Here is a simplified version of my file without the HTML converter facility
    <APPLET CODE = "mydirectory.MyApplet" ARCHIVE="tst.jar" width=960 height=580>
    </APPLET>
The archive tst.jar was signed following the procedure of the 10 steps without problems. My trouble is that I cannot write a file in my hard disk.
    Thanks in advance

QUERY mode? Did you mean, that you can only QUERY without changing data.
This is the QUERY-ONLY-mode, which can be started e.g. call_form
this is the help for that topic:
    PROCEDURE CALL_FORM
    (formmodule_name VARCHAR2,
    display NUMBER,
    switch_menu NUMBER,
    query_mode NUMBER,
    data_mode NUMBER,
    paramlist_name VARCHAR2);
    query_mode
NO_QUERY_ONLY (The default.) Form Builder will run the indicated form in normal mode, allowing the end user to perform inserts, updates, and deletes from within the called form.
QUERY_ONLY Form Builder will run the indicated form in query-only mode, allowing the end user to query, but not to insert, update, or delete records.

  • How do I hide HTML hyperlink code in Blog comments?

How do I hide HTML code for hyperlinks in blog commments? Here's the background:
I happily and easily include text hyperlinks all over the place in my website, using iWeb. I can even do this when creating a new entry in my blog. In all cases, the actual HTML code is hidden, and the hyperlinked text is, as usual, in a different color (to indicate that it's a link).
However, let's say someone leaves a comment to a blog entry, and I want to respond using the Comments box when I'm viewing the blog online, via Safari or IE or Firefox. And let's say I type a word that I want to also use as a hyperlink, that will take someone to another website.
So far, the only way I've discovered to add hyperlinks in a Comment is to actually type the HTML command right in the Comments text box (then add my name, URL, type in the secret image verification code and click "Add Comment").
When the new comment, with hyperlink, appears on the blog entry page, the hyperlink is active -- however, the entire HTML code also shows up. For example, here's what appears, on-screen, when I want someone to click "here" to get to my website landing page:
Click (a href="http://www.davidalanmoore.com")here(/a) to go to my homepage.
NOTE: I used parens instead of carats in the line, above, in order to show what actually happens in the real world... unfortunately, this forum is so well done that it actually read my carats, created a real hyperlink and hid the HTML -- which is what DOESN'T happen in the blog comments!
How do I hide everything but the word "here," without losing the hyperlink?
    Thanks in advance!

Yes, the http:// part does make it become a hyperlink, as in the example I noted in my question. That is, the hyperlink works... it's just that all of the HTML code that makes it a link is also visible.
For example, take a look at the following sentence, that includes a hyperlink -- a hyperlink for which Apple's Discussion Forums automatically reads the HTML correctly, hides the code, and turns the text for the word "here" into a different-colored hyperlink:
"Click here to go to the comments page where I'm having the problem."
Now compare that hyperlink to the way a hyperlink actually appears in a "Comment." Click the word "here" in the sentence just above this one. You'll be sent to a blog entry on my website. If you look at the fourth comment on that page you'll see what iWeb does to a hyperlink: it creates link that works, but it also shows all the HTML code (e.g., "(a href="http//..... etc., etc.).
I'm trying to make that code invisible in the Comments, as it is invisible on these discussion boards. (See two paragraphs above: a link, but no visible HTML code.)
I'm not sure if I'm making sense... I'm just trying to be thorough so people don't accidentally waste their time answering a question I'm not asking. Bottom line, I don't want the HTML code visible, on-screen, when I create a hyperlink in a blog comment.

  • How can I enter HTML on iWeb ?

i am trying to add a button

You can open the html files generated by iWeb in any text or html editor. In TextEdit, to view the code in an HTML file, choose File > Open and select "Ignore rich text commands." Then locate the .html file and click Open.
Here’s how to find your html files:
If you publish to dot mac, mount your idisk using the "go" menu in Finder. This will place your idisk on the desktop.
    Then go to iDisk/Web/Sites/iWeb/Sitename/Pagename.html
If you publish to a folder, try looking in your Sites folder of your home folder.
Try these directions, will work with any html addition:

  • How to insert custom HTML before /body ?

I love that I can insert custom HTML in the <head> of a page in Muse.
However, I need to add custom HTML just before the end of <body>.
Namely, I want to insert custom Jquery calls just before </body>. I can't do this in the <head>.
However, other uses for other people might include inserting Analytics tracking code before </body>, as this is more optimum than in the <head>.
I've tried using a Custom HTML widget, but even if I put it in the footer of my page, it still ends up appearing in the rendered HTML before Muse's Javascript. I need it to come after Muse's Javascript.
    Thanks in advance.
