How to play many assets in one player only ?

Do I really need to open each asset to play it and view the movie, for example, i got 70 clips on Sony XDCAM, and the clips are short, and i'd like to see all clips in one player, after they had been uploaded to FCServer. Is that possible?

I don`t think that`s possible inside FCSrv, unless you make a Reference Movie from all this clips.
You could automate a "make reference movie" from a production (that have only those 70 clips inside). But to do this you have to create scripts and configure responses and subscriptions on FCSrv. If you are confortable with this I think it`s a great way.
If some one has another way of doing this please let US know!

Suppose that you want to create a Company , Reliance Group of Companies(RGI) and Company codes Reliance Infocomm(REL1) and Reliance Petrochemicals(REL2).
Go to OX15----->Define Company
IMG--->Enterprise Structure-->Definition-->Financial Accounting---->Define Company
Here you will create RGI as Company.
Go to OX02----->Define Company Code
IMG--->Enterprise Structure-->Definition-->Financial Accounting---->Edit,Copy,Delete,Check Company Code.
Here you will create REL1 and REL2 as Company codes.
Go to OX16------>Assign Company Code to Company
IMG---->Enterprise Structure--->Assignment-->Financial Accounting---->Assign Company Code to company.
Here you will assign Company to both the Company Codes.

I followed the instructions and downloaded Stuffit expander. I then downladed the file on the Casioworld web site, which for some reason expanded without using the new stuffit program. or at least the file is now Casio AVI Importer.component (file on desktop is a sheet not a folder as displayed in the steps on the web page) which Casio mentioned the Zip file would turn into. If I try to expand this I get an error message. Now looking in my library I found no folder for Quicktime although the logo is in my applications folder!!. I have no idea why this is like that as I don't recall ever touching any folders in my library, could it be that is in another folder?
Please help me sort this out.

How to update many documents in one go using portal permissions

Hello,
I have two users in the portal with different permissions on a folder:
rct2774: Total control
rct3343: Read
So, connected to the portal, rct3343 can´t upload (or erase) any document.
Now, I´ve followed these instructions to update many documents in one go (found in "how to upload a folder containg HTML files in a KM folder" topic 22 - jun - 2006)
"You can use the WebDaV.
1. Get the WebDav path of your KM folder by going to details->properties->Access Links
2. Copy the url for the WebDav
3. Go to your desktop. Right Click on My Network Places.
click on open.
4. Click on add a network place.
5. Click on "Choose another network location"
6. Paste your copied url and click on next.
7. Enter your portal userid and password. Now drag and drop your files from desktop. "
But, updating this way both users (rct2774 and rct3343) can update, download and erase any document that belongs to that location.
Do you know a way to update many documents in one go respecting or keeping the portal permissions?

First of all, thaks for your prompt reply. I´m new in these themes and any help is wellcome.
We are doing many tests now, so we´re using the server portal as repository in itself. It´s quite strange because the permissions work at the portal correctly but not by the other way.
Should I download the portal drive to the client PC for mantain the portal permissions?

HI,
In the Depreciation tab, double click on the the Depreciation area, where you want to change the Group Asset. because Group asset is specific to the Depreciation area.
You will see the Group Asset field.
If you still do not see the Group Asset field, then you have to change the Screen Layout in the Customisation for the Depreciation area in T-Code AO21.

our users created somany assets instead of one asset. for example: in machinary asset class they created assets for individual parts also. how to make this as one asset. they already getting depreciation.

I am using SSMS 2008 R2 and am simply trying to coalesce many rows into one. This should be simple I think, but it is currently repeating data in each row. Consider:

Hi Ganesh,
my suggestion to u is use existing streaming protocol that already support by MMAPI, thats RTSP/RTP protocol.
u only need to configure existing streaming server like HELIX SERVER or DARWIN SERVER, and ENCODER like FFMPEG, HELIX PRODUCER, etc to encode ur live media / store file become RTP packet and then let server send that to ur client. u can use camera / TV turner also to capture live video and send that by streaming. So u dont need to make ur own server, except ur project need different protocol from that streaming server use.
in client side, u can choose to use REAL MEDIA or make ur own player, Nokia already support RTSP protocol since S40 3rd edition and S50 2nd edition FP 3. so u dont need to parse by ur code RTSP message and RTP packet. u also can use forward and backward fiture too by that both streaming server.
please read any RTSP / RTP standar protocol reference, i think it will be helpfull to u to make ur own system configuration ..

Whenever I select multiple files (video and/or MP3) to be played with QuickTime, a different window is opened for each file.
Is there a way or another player where the files selected to be played consecutively are all opened and listed in one window and played consecutively?

Have you tried creating a playlist with them in iTunes?
I see compatible movies from my Movies folder in the Movies section under Library in iTunes.
When a playlist is created for selected movies, they play sequentially in iTunes. It plays MP3s too .

In Ubuntu Live CD, I deleted the bootcamp partition
In the Ubuntu installer, I used the unnallocated space that deleteing the bootcamp partition made.
So, my question is, how do I restore my harddrive to be one Mac OSX partition, withought having to reinstall OSX?

Okay, the reinstall worked(Duh, of course it would). I wanted to see if I could without reinstalling, oh well. Everything's up and running again, i changed the layout of the desk, yea. I am so glad that Time Machine stores like every aspect to the backup. I love Time Machine. I told the transfer mac to get from time machine, and it retrieved everything, except for applications, but I told it not to.
