How to play movie in a dreamweaver file?

This should be pretty simple - hopefully someone can help me
with it - if I want to open a new HTML page by clicking on a button
in flash file I assume all I need is a page with embeded movie
prepared in Dreamweaver?
Can anyone be kind and help me with this one?!

Yes, after your movie has been created you can use the Insert
Flash option
to place it on your page.

Sorry, there is no way to move that file out of the Profile folder, or specify a different location for it, built into Firefox.
One extension that might be able to help you do that is Pike's Bookmark Backup extension. BB allows you to specify which files are backed-up and where those backup files are saved. It also has a backup interval setting, IIRC. <br />

I guess this is what I want to do. I have jillions of photos that were transferred in a Windows version of photoshop (many different versions) plus some that were transferred from my iPhone and also in Nikon Transfer (before I started using Photoshop). You might think so. But it's difficult to decide what people mean. You understood the question, I didn't. If you copied the catalog and everything from the old computer to the new one and utilized the old catalog, the smart collections should still be in place. The old catalog would have to be converted to the new format, and you might have to relink missing images. But after that is all done the smart collections should be in place.

I've installed QT Pro, but am not able to play MOV files inside Windows Media Center Edition (MCE). Under "My Videos" from the MCE main interface, I can see the files, but once selected, error message indicates unknown/unplayable file type.

I don't know how to load and play a video with JavaTV. But I've seen some posts telling that .mpg files aren't accepted by the JavaTV.
Some people said that I had to use .avi files and these .avi files, if they were converted from a .mpg file, must had been converted with the Cinepack technology, but I don't know how to do this.
If you find out how to load and play a video, I'd like to know, please send me an email or access my page and post there in the comments, so I can continue doing my application with a video.

How do I move content from one file to another ?

Hi,
I have two separate DVD Studio Pro files that I created a while back (single-sided DVD).
Now I want to put them both on a dual layer DVD. However, I can't figure out for the life of me how to copy content between files. I don't want to "recreate" one of the DVDs from scratch.
How do I move the menus, tracks, stories, etc from one DVD Studio Pro file to another ?

You do not need to move the media into the new project assuming all the media is available and on the same hard drive. Usually I keep all DVD SP projects and media on an external drive so it is easy-ish to do. Of course if you copy the assets into the folder for a project it makes thingss easier to move around to other drives. In other words I will create a Poject folder called "MYPROJECT" and in there I will placefolders "MYPROJECTM2Vs", "MYPROJECTAC3S", "MYPROJECTGRAPHICS" etc so if I have to move projects to other computers easier to re-link. Takes up a bit more room if you use the same asset in more than one project but with the costs of Drives so low right now it is worth the lkess hassle to me...

I've had my computer for less then 2 weeks and i haven't been able to install all of the major apps in order for certain things to run on my computer. How do i play movies from my external hard drive. I keep having a pop up on saying "QuickTime Player can't open "Bad Grandpa.avi". To see if additional software is available that will enable QuickTime Player to open the movie, click Tell Me More." I have installed QuickPlayer 7 but i am still recieving that pop up message. I have an Accer DD Hard drive.

Unfortunately this is causing a problem because places.sqlite changes frequently and cannot be synced while FF is running. U can't Play Avi Videos In Nokia 5610 , Avi video Can Only Play By Softwares Named Divx, Smartmovie e.t.c and These Software are not Available For S40 Handsets.
Ur Nokia 5610 supports 3gp and Mp4 Videos .
Just downlaod Nokia Video Manger from www.nokia.com/videos and Convert ur Videos To Mp4 Format and The U can Play Those Videos.

How to Play Movies Sequentially

I want to create about ten twenty second movies and then have them play sequentially.
The movies are only slightly different from each other. I don't want to make a movie that is two minutes long though. I want the movies to play in a different order on each page.
There has got to be a million ways of doing that, but what is the easiest way.

The FLVplayback component can have several different video players "inside it." Look up the activeVideoPlayerIndex and visibleVideoPlayerIndex properties and how to work with those in the help files.
I'm not sure how many you can cram in there, but I know we have used up to nine.
Then you can listen for the complete events and then play the next bit.
