How to play music simultaneous both on my computer and the remote speaker

I have an existing wi-fi station and one Airport Express, but I can not play music simultaneous both on my computer and the remote speaker. I just can select only one speaker.
My iTunes is the latest Windows version 6.03.5, but I can not see the option of "multiple speakers" on the bottom-right menu. What is the problem? How can I do if I want to play music simultaneous both on my computer and the remote speaker?

One of the fixes "-Resolves issue with Audio dropout when playing to AirPort Express with AirTunes". Not exactly your issue, but worth a try.

Select one of the tracks with a broken link, press ctrl-i to Get Info. Say No when iTunes asks if you would like to locate the track, then look at the Summary tab for the location expects to find the file in.
Now try to locate the file in question. The two locations should give a clue as to what to do next.
Here is an example with a file I've deliberately moved from the new layout to the old pre-iTunes 9 layout.
This means iTunes is expecting to find the file at:
D:\iTunes\iTunes Media\Music\a-ha\Take On Me\01 Take On Me.mp3
but it isn't there because I've moved it to:
D:\iTunes\iTunes Media\a-ha\Take On Me\01 Take On Me.mp3
which is where it would have lived back in iTunes 8 (though the media folder would have been called iTunes Music back then as well).
If you can provide the expected and actual locations of a broken track I should be able to suggest the easiest way to resolve things.

We went through the same drill.
First, decide which computer you are going to use. One or the other. You can't have it both ways.
Then plug in the 'foreign' device.   Do not let it sync. Yet.
Give this device a new name in the left pane in I tunes so that you all know which device is which. You will need to authorise the computer to the new I tunes account. You will need to transfer any purchases to that computer. You will need to upload any photos to the photo library.
Then sync.   Each time you plug it, it will remember the specific device, the old on, or the foreign one, and bring up its own particular arrangement as a starting point.
You will find that by checking the boxes, you can share apps, and music.   But when you go to do updates, if you are mingling apps, each user will need to know the apple password to get updates.
We found it to be a little confusing, but once you get used to it, using the same I tunes for 2 different accounts works ok.
Before you do anything, please make a full backup ofmthe original device. If something gets out of hand, you can always revert back to where your were.

How to play music from iPod through Windows Media Player

I don't want to insult anyone's intelligence .... but just in case anyone hasn't yet figured it out, here's how to play music from your iPod on a computer that does not have iTunes installed:
On your computer, connect the iPod to iTunes and click on it's name. Then under the general tab, check "allow disk use". Your iPod will then act as a USB hard drive and will then show up as a drive in My Computer. Now all you need to do is to create a Music folder on it and then copy all your music to it!
Your iPod's USB hard drive should show up under My Computer on most Windows computers. Therefore providing the computer has Windows Media Player installed, you will be able to play all your music on it! This saves you having to bother with portable/travel speakers, some of which sound terrible anyway!

iPhone 4 can AirPlay audio just fine, I'd forgotten that it can't do screen mirroring. It's been so long since I had my iPhone 4 but I'm certain that some apps will allow video output over AirPlay (which is not the same as screen mirroring). The stock iOS Photo and Video apps could stream pictures and video to ATV, but true mirroring of everything you see on the screen is not supported on iPhone 4. It isn't iOS 7 that took away this capability, it is a capability that has always been limited with iPhone 4 (and earlier).
If you are sure that your old 3G can output video over AirPlay, which specific apps? Those same apps should work on the iPhone 4, even with iOS 7.

How to play music through my external hard drive through iTunes on my mac?

I recently purchased a external hard drive for my mac for my movies and music, as my disc was almost full.
I have spent HOURS searching how to play music through my itunes without transferring them onto the mac.
BUT everytime I click media destination folder in prefrences and advance, the whole music library in my external hard drive folder is greyed out, and when i click it nothing happens.

First, a brand new drive is likely formatted for use with Windows. You need to reformat it for use with Mac.

Second, you are better off moving the whole iTunes library to the external drive, not just the media.

Quick answer if you use iTunes' default preferences settings: Copy the entire iTunes folder (and in doing so all its subfolders and files) intact to the other drive. Open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option (alt) key (shift on Windows), then guide it to the new location of the library.

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted.

Why not? Most of the time, when I hear someone doing something like this and they say doing something different is "not an option," it's because of a failure to understand something. That could easily be wrong here, but humor me and provide details.

Are you logging out and logging in to the other? If so, that's just the way it works. All apps stop when you log out. You could try using fast user switching instead (System Preferences -> Accounts -> Login Options). If you're already doing that, and the music still stops, then you're probably out of luck.

I have almost the exact same problem. I have a bunch of music, ringtones, TV shows, movies... stuff that I purchased that I can't authorize. All of these items were purchased with the same account I'm still using now. The difference is that I've changed my email address. I don't have the original email address from when I made those purchases and I'm unable to authorize them. I can see that when I view info on one of these purchases the "Account Name: " has my old email address... not my iTunes or Apple account. So, if I'm authorizing my iTunes using my new email none of these older purchases will work.
I'm really curious how to fix this. I've got quite a few purchases from years back that I'd like access to, but I can't authorize using my new email/iTunes or my old email (the one used for the original purchases).
Take a look at the info and tell me if you see "Account Name:" on one of your purchases. And is that associated to your old email address? There has to be a way to fix this or 'transfer' older purchases, especially if it's all under the same real 'account'.

Now that I havew added a second airport base..I cannot play music in more than one room at the same time...when I try and choose multiple speakers...it states that the particular airport cannot play simultaneously...i have an HP Pavillion, a Mac Book on a Netgear network router....Is there a set up procedure to allow playing music simultaneosly?

There is no way you can do that. You should either transfer the music to the phone and play it from there, or you should connect the speaker to the computer itself (provided it is Bluetooth speaker).

I haven't tried it yet, but I believe this would disconnect Bluetooth for both the phone and music. I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata if this will help.
