How to play music videos back to back on the ipad

I created a playlist of music videos on iTunes and synced to my iPad. The videos show up on my Video App (each video separate) and on the Music App (as a playlist) If I try to play the list from the Music App all I get is Audio. If I go to the Video App I can only play one at a time after selecting it from my collection. Am I missing something?
All my videos play very nicely back to back on my Apple TV, I can even shuffle them!!! I just can do the same thing on my iPad.

You can't do that in a simple way. You need to have a port open in the firewall, and you need to have a server process on the remote machine.

How To Play Music & Videos In Stereo?

I have a new iPad Retina 64GB and have loaded it with many apps and music. I'm using iTunes Match so all of my music is in iCloud and is recognized by all my devices just fine. The problem I have was discovered last night when I needed to listen to some music cuts with headphones (the first time using them with my iPad - the headphones work perfect with my older iPod Touch (1st Generation), as well as my Macbook Pro Retina). When I listened to a known STEREO song, there is no stereo -- only monophonic sound with this new iPad!!!
I used the same headphones plugged into my Macbook Pro and listened to the same song (via iCloud) and it is plays just fine -- IN FULL STEREO!
Any ideas on what is wrong - bad iPad, bad stereo plug on iPad, wrong setting in iPad, or whatever could solve this simple problem?

I would suggest an experiment to eliminate one possible cause:
Like you, I use iTunes Match and appreciate its capabilities. But I recommend turning iTunes Match off (only) on your iPad, and then doing a sync with iTunes on your computer that hopefully has all your music on it. That would force the music to be explicitly loaded onto your iPad, and then see if the stereo appears. I predict it will.

I have a new i-pad and also an apple TV. All my audio-video files are stored on a NAS. I want to access the files directly from i-Pad, without any intervention from my PC? Is there any way to do this?

I have Maverick and this approach does NOT work. Mu music videos (loaded via my Mac) are in the Video app but I can neither make a playlist with them nor delete them. In General, etc the IPAD displays music (as a group - not individually), photos (ditto) and individual apps. Still stuck with the same problem.
These problems are really no-brainers. Apple should maintain a database with easy, clear, instructions for doing such obvious tasks as deleteing videos for each version. That does not seem like a hard task. You select your OS, device and click "Delete video". Much better than all these random suggestions that are not OS dependent.

How to add music videos that are not from the itunes store?

This drives me CRAZY that iTunes will allow me to classify my .mp4 music videos that I get from other sources (NOT bought from the iTunes store) as a Music Video but iTunes STILL keeps it classified under the Movie listing. Does anyone know how I go about or what is needed to get my music video files in the Music Video list?

It also bugs me that I can't organize my library properly. For example, I have a music performance/concert video and instead of having it in a separate list of "Musical Performances", iTunes contains it under Movies. This is a first for me to complain about my iTunes experience but I just wish there would be some flexibility for me to add content and categorize/list it under my personal preferences. Anything wrong with that?

If you go to the Get Info menu and set Video Kind to Music Video it will only appear in your music library, and not in the Movie section.
The tool VideoDrive (www.aroona.net) will automatically classify all your videos when you import them in iTunes, based on file and folder name, the length of the video and other metadata...

Why can't I get music videos to NOT sync on the iPad

So I have recently updated to iOS 7 on my daughter's iPad 2. Out of the blue, now because not before, all the music videos on my computer sync to her iPad. I have the include music videos unchecked under music. I have the sync only checked songs and videos on the summary screen. The only thing checked to sync under music is the genre Christian and Gospel. Yet, every music video on my computer are being pushed into her iPad. Most of the videos are not 8-year suitable in my opinion. Britney Spears new videos, Ke$sha, Eninem, etc... Can someone tell me how to get my wife's filth videos off my 8-year old's iPad? PLEASE!!!!

Apple TV freezes playing music videos

I have 2 Apple TV's and both freeze while streaming music videos. I have a Netgear N600 wireless dual band gig router, which happens to be in the same room as one of the Apple TV's. I have restarted both, checked our wireless connection and completely powered down everything. Does anyone have any other suggestions? It only seems to happen while playing music videos. Thanks.

Playing Music Videos Back to Back

I would like to be able to play my music videos back-to-back, either in the Music Videos section, or just in shuffle mode. Currently I can only play one video then it returns to the menu. If anyone knows how to correct this I would appreciate a reply.

The iPod backup that iTunes makes does not include synced media like app, music and videos. Thus, you wll have to resync those back to your iPod.
If necessary you can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Check with the theater system vendor and see if their system is compatible with the Nano. The resolution on the Nano may be too low for the system.

That's just the iPod's backlight timer going off, signaling the iPod's backlight to turn off to conserve battery power.
