How can the Windows Media Player 12 be made to play WVC210 .avi files?

I just built a new computer and it won't play the motion captured videos of the WVC210. It has Windows 7 Home Premium as the operating system. My machines running XP play the WVC210 files GREAT. Is there a codec I can add to the WMP12 so that it will play the .avi files. I have 3 cameras around the property, 2 WVC210 and 1 WVC200. 1 camera has the audio turned off so switching to MP4 (no audio) made that work OK. But the camera in the office I need to have audio and would rather stick to WMP over something like VLC. VLC plays the files fine but I much prefer WMP. I'm hopeing to find out how to have Windows Media Player 12 play the .AVI files from the WVC210 cameras. Any Help??

There appears to be issues with codecs on WMP 12 and Windows 7
AND\OR your WMP is missing the necessary codecs.

I believe it does not handle DRM (Digital Rights Management) protected WMA files, though.

I have the latest version of quicktime pro installed on 10.4.10, with the flip4mac codes and a k-lite codec pack installed.
I am trying to play windows media 10 files, in particular on this website:

But its no good! I cna see the video stream, but there is no audio.
So basically im wondering, does any1 have a solution/codec for this type of file?
From what i can tell its a windows media 10 stream using asf technology.

Normally I would recommend the following setup, but Bloomberg is one of the very rare exceptions that I cannot see. They seem to be completely Windows-oriented. Fortunately there are other news sites that work!

Why don't you try any another software for opening CSV files then Notepad ? According to my experience, you can use these softwares to open an CSV files and they are:-
Microsoft Excel
Open Office Calc
Google Docs
Also there is an additional tool available known as CSV viewer. You may try this, download it from here http://www.csvviewer.com/
I've never used Notepad for opening CSV files, because sometimes it contains some symbols which are not not at all compatibile with Notepad.

How can I get an updated safari browser at this time without downloading the new OS X Yosemite. I know I might need to download the Yosemite, but would prefer to wait untill all the glitches are fixed. I have learned that the Yosemite may cause wifi failure and e-mail connection problems. Since I am not a computer expert, I don't need the headaches trying to figure out how what is wrong and how to fix a bug, so I would prefer to wait untill apple has totally fixed all the glitches that the Yosemite has. My understanding is that you should definitely be able to play youtube videos using a Wi-Fi network. To me, it sounds as though the issue may be more network related as the videos will work over cellular data. I have a couple questions I believe could help narrow down the exact issue:
• Is the device able to browse to other websites while connected to Wi-Fi, or will no sites work?
• Are there other devices (iPads, iPhones, computers, etc) that work on the same Wi-Fi network?

After migrating to a retina macbook with mountain lion I can not play windows media player files anymore. I use flip4mac pro 3.0 and quicktime 7.6.6.
The message I receive is: De bewerking kan niet worden voltooid. (OSStatus fout -50). I also have problems with zip files that can not be saved on the desktop anymore while unzipping.

I actually installed Quicktime pro and Flip4Mac Pro again after I bought the Retina Macbook. Today I did it again but still get the same OSStatus error -50. I guess there is some old file that has to be removed. Flip4Mac comes with an uninstaller. Quicktime does not.
I read that his could be something with security that is why I mention the problem with the zip files as well.
