Dear everybody
I want to make music player from Adobe Flash CS3 code. I have
test already with mp3
Now i want to play WMA. But i don't know the class that can
play WMA file
thanks
muny

thanks for the quick reply. i should clarify that the files are downloaded (walmart.com) in .wma with drm. strange but i reinstalled the firmware (v.40) and out of the ten files I downloaded i was able to transfer 6 of them using cms or wmp 9.0. the remaining 4 still errored out with the same error. by trial and error i was able to figure out that by playing them locally (which acquires the license) I could then successfully transfer them. thanks for the help.

    need to know how to play movies with various ext like wmv..mpeg..vlc on e7

    If the phone's built-in video player does not handle those formats, your option are:
    - find some other video player app that does, or
    - convert the videos to a supported format
    The E7 supported video formats are listed on, e.g., this page:
    https://www.developer.nokia.com/Devices/Device_specifications/E7-00/
    Hit "Expand all" and scroll down to "Video Playback Formats".

  • Can new Creative Zen play WMA with D

    Can new Creative Zen play WMA with DRM? (Digital rights management) Because half of my library is purchased from MSN Music and if Creative Zen can't play that, I have to look for something else.

    I'm not that unsure. And of course I beli've that you and the mods have right and it would be very strange if it did not play DRM. But I think Creative could have writen that it play WMA with DRM in the product specification. Now that I know that it can play my songs I'm gonna buy the Zen very soon:smileyvery-happy: thanks for all your help!Message Edited by Norwegian25 on 09-27-200709:46 PM

  • How to play WMA files encoded with DRM on M

    Hi -
    I downloaded and installed the drivers, firmware and apps recommended by Creative Labs to support transferring wma files with drm to the muvo through the creative media source. However when I attempt to transfer I encounter an "Error transferring files" every time. I can play the files on my laptop (windows 2000 sp4) using the cms player, but I still cannot transfer them to the muvo. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • How to play videos with mkv format on imac

    i have purchased a new imac(intel) just four days back. i want to know what is the method for playing videow with mkv format.

    It could be a 'difficult' form of Matroska file. FYI Matroska is just a container like MOV or AVI, and some mkv have the video encoded with Real Video Codec (RV9 RV10). Perian+QT can't decode this, but VLC will play .mkv files just fine on OS X, as long as they don't use H.264!
    It's a bit of a lottery until Matroska decide to support the Apple platform. I have found this:
    http://mkv4mac.free.fr/index.php?lang=en&p=lec
    which may help.
    But there may be another workaround: 1. Get Info the mkv file
    2. Change to extension to wmv. Save as wmv and that could work better.
    Or this link may be helpful:
    http://www.squidoo.com/mkv-converter-mac
    Recently, a poster (ZachP14) suggested this:
    "There's a program called Plex that runs .mkv files awesome on my 2.0 ghz macbook."
    http://www.plexapp.com/
    Maybe worth a try?

  • How to play Animation with site loading in background to reveal website?

    So I know there are pre loaders and you can make that with edge... But they are so small and just a little circle moving around or something... I more mean a full page pre-loader then I guess...
    I have created an animation of a M with marquee lights going around and slowly zooming in... Then I have the M fade out and I have a black solid layer move up and another black solid layer move down to reveal the blank stage below...
    What I want to happen is maybe with some java script but to have the solids move out of the way to reveal my site bellow... Anyone know how to accomplish this?
    Thanks so much! I think being able to do things like this in native html and css and java will be huge for giving websites a "Font Door" or Opening Title like we have in movies... Thanks so much!

    first I recommend that you use mouseenter and mouseleave instead.
    second: if you have a symbol that has let's say one animation you can do
    on mouse enter
    sym.getSymbol('symbolname').play();
    on mouseleave:
    sym.getSymbol('symbolname').playReverse();
    you may have to add
    sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol('symbolname').play();
    sym.getComposition().getStage().getSymbol('symbolname').playReverse();
    or you can put the event in stage/compositionreday
    sym.getSymbol('symbolname').mouseenter(function(){
    sym.getSymbol('symbolname').play();
    sym.getSymbol('symbolname').mouseleave(function(){
    sym.getSymbol('symbolname').play();

  • How to play .wma and other Windows Media Player-format files/videos on Mac?

    Hi again,
    I will be asking stupid questions as I'm a newbie to Mac, so please bear with me. There are some video format that QuickTime player doesn't play e.g. .wma files. I tried a couple of times to download Windows Media Player for Mac but it doesn't install on my Mac! Do I require a software similar to Zipfile or does Mac has it all build in?
    PS - What is the coequal of "delete" button here in Mac (keyboard)?

    Download and install Flip4Mac - VersionTracker or MacUpdate - to play Windows Media files via Quicktime. Also get Perian to provide additional codecs for other video formats.
    The Delete key is on the keyboard next to the "=" key.

  • How to play disk with .IFO file on it

    I was given a CD with one file on it, an .IFO file.
    It's supposed to have video of my niece's children's theatre play on it but I'm not sure what application to use to play this.
    It could be that my niece's parents were well-meaning and didn't send the proper format or media.
    Any help out there?

    An .ifo file is an information file for a DVD. It stores information such as the chapters, subtitles, and audio tracks. It's not directly playable.
    Are you sure that's the only file on the disc? Perhaps your view settings are putting some of the files outside of the viewable portion of the window - icon view sometimes does this.
    If you Get Info on the disc (Command-I or in the Finder, File->Get Info), how much space is used on the disc?

  • How to play swf with progress bar?

    I have a SWF file that was generate NOT from Flash. Is there
    a player that can allow me to play it full screen with basic
    controls at the bottom? Controls that I can choose play, stop,
    pause, fast fwd, rewind and a progression bar. Thanks!
    Another question is how can I convert swf to exe with the

    not originally from Flash, it's from a third party program that
    can't export to flash projector.
    Thanks.

    Hi Patrick,
    Since this issue is mainly related to a control which belongs to third-party, I would recommend you consider posting this issue on the same site like the following thread because issues related to third-party are not supported.

  • How to Play Back WITH Gaps between Tracks

    When I import a CD and then play it back in iTunes, there is practically no pause between tracks.
    The CD has a pause of 3-4 seconds between tracks. In many kinds of music, it's disconcerting to have the tracks follow one another instantly.
    How do I get iTunes to pause between tracks?
    Thanks for any help.

    To obtain a pause betwen tracks go into iTunes "Preferences" click on the "Play Back" tab if you check "crossfade playback" and adjust that you may get the results your looking for.

  • How to play SWF with AxShockwaveFlash control using a stream rather than a file path?

    My WinForm app downloads and plays SWF files from my server. Currently, I have an object of type AxShockwaveFlash called "flash" display the movie. The code I use to load the SWF is:
    flash.Movie = "http://example.com/file.swf"
    The URL is generated dynamically by the module based on what the user wants to watch.  I'd like to know how can I load the SWF using a memory stream rather than a file path? I have already configured my server to process the url and return the contents
    of the file. What I don't know is how to read those contents within my WinForm application as a stream instead of the default which is to just provide a URL path to the movie.
    For instance I think I can use the Net.HttpWebRequest object to make an HTTP request, and read the response contained in the resulting Net.HttpWebResponse into a stream, but I have no idea what I could do to that stream to feed it to AxShockwaveFlash
    A very similar question was posed on
    stackOverflow but I cannot make sense of the answer (I'm quite inexperienced).
    I'd appreciate your help,

    He Peter,
    Thanks for your reply. I've made some steps, but still no perfect solution. I've managed to compile a swf with ant using only the AIR SDK.
    But, check these results
    - Compiled using Flash Builder release : 455 kb
    - Compiled with ant using mxmlc : 104 kb
    - Compiled with ant using compc : 139 kb
    Can you provide us an example, how to compile a swf using ant. For example, with an AIR mobile project.
    Thanks Peter.

  • How to play DVDs with QT??

    I can't watch DVDs with QuickTime! When the DVD should open, QT says that it can't open it. I hate that! It's so annoying!! Why doesn't it open them!? Someone please answer if you know why!

    Hi, Donny,
    Sorry, but if you're referring to a commercial DVD, those are copy-protected. Breaking the copy protection is illegal in the US, so discussing ways of doing it are not allowed here (since the US courts have been holding in some cases that even discussing in print such cracking may be illegal). If you're outside the US where such de-encryption is legal (though it's up to you to make sure that your use of the material is legal), search around the net and you'll find places that can provide tools for de-encrypting the files for use.
