How to populate the configurator UI using CIO

Requirement : Based on the user entered string (Basemodel.Option1.Options2.Optiopn3.Options4.Option5) a free text at sales order line. In case of bad line(meaning any one of the options is invalid) the user hits the configurator button and the valid options need to be populated to the configurator UI. As of now i able to populate one value. I am missing some where when i am trying to populate multiple options. Below is the java code which iam using.
I tried using ArrayString and by result set but no luck :( , Please let me know if any one came accross this type of requirement.
//The class CfgExtTest contains two methods, namely displayAttributes and getCountrySelected.
//The displayAttributes accepts a runtime node as a parameter, through which the connection to the database can be established.
//Once a connection is established, the getCountrySelected method can be used to obtain the value entered in the DFF for the Order Header Id.
//The java code also selects the option from an Option Feature which matches the option selected in the DFF.

Hi Pankaj,
Thanks a lot for your reply. I am very new to java and configurator extensions.
There is an option feature "Select hard drive" on UI and 2GB ,10GB , 20GB are my options.
I am trying to select 2GB on the UI. Iam fetching this value from a table '"Select selection from xxcz.TEST_CONFIG"' using this query.(below is my code)
<some part of code where iam fetching the question and selecting its option >
IRuntimeNode udcc = irn.getChildByName("Select Hard Drive");
IOption option = (IOption)udcc.getChildByName(country);
option.setState(IState.TRUE);
My requirement i have multiple options from different questions to select in UI.. Can i select directly option ( as in my example 2GB) ? PLease let me know you thougths on this.

  • How to populate the time component of a cube?

    We have a question regarding how to populate the time component of a cube. Let me explain:
    We are using OWB 10gR2. We have created a cube with several dimensions. We are now building the mapping to load the cube. The cube operator has two columns for every dimension (e.g., "customer" and "customer_id" for the "customer" dimension).
    We understand that, in this case, "customer_id" stands for the dimension business key, so we create an arrow from the business key in the source table to the "customer_id" column in the cube operator.
    So far so good. The mapping works all right, and the cube is loaded correctly.
    Now we need to do the same for the time dimension. We have already created the time dimension and we have loaded it. We have also included it in the cube, so now we have two new columns in it: "time_day_code" and "time", both NUMBER data type.
    We have the "sale_date" column (DATE data type), in the source system and, of course, now we want to populate the date column in the cube. We suppose that, somehow, we have to translate the "sale_date" field into the numeric column of the surrogate key of the time dimension. How should do we do this? I suppose that OWB must do the translation for us, just as it does for the other dimensions, but how? We have been looking into the manuals, and we have found no explanation on how to go about this.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Best regards
    Juan Algaba

    Hi Juan
    You are right this should have been in the manuals, checked and there is only a brief mention (Using a Time Dimension in a Cube Mapping section)
    The identifier format should have been documented for each level and will involve creating the formatted attribute for input to the cube operator's time dimension reference attribute.
    The time dimension business keys are stored as follows;
    Day Level - YYYYMMDD
    Month Level - YYYYMM
    Week Level - YYYYWW
    Quarter - YYYYQ
    Year - YYYY
    If you have a source that has a SQL date datatype for example and want to construct the key for a cube's time dimension at the day level something like the following expression can be used to construct the time reference from a SQL date...
    to_number(to_char( time_key, 'YYYYMMDD'))
    The result of this expression can be used as input to the cube's time dimension attribute.
    Cheers
    David

    Hi Venu,
    You can use Virtual Characteristics are characteristics whose values will be derived during query time.

    Use code tags.
    Don't mix GUI and JDBC together. Split them out into separate classes.
    You have a good start, but you will need to loop through your resultset and also pull the ResultSet metaData for you column headings

    Dear Guys,
    How to populate the Quering data into Excel sheet in oracle.
    Please provide a solution.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Senthil K Kumar

    Hi
    To make Excel sheets from sqlplus, you can use the markup html tag in sqlplus.
    Here's an example.
    Example
    <code>
    SET LINESIZE 4000
    SET VERIFY OFF
    SET FEEDBACK OFF
    SET PAGESIZE 999
    SET MARKUP HTML ON ENTMAP ON SPOOL ON PREFORMAT OFF
    SPOOL c:\test_xls.xls
    SELECT object_type
    , SUBSTR( object_name, 1, 30 ) object
    , created
    , last_ddl_time
    , status
    FROM user_objects
    ORDER BY 1, 2
    SPOOL OFF
    SET MARKUP HTML OFF ENTMAP OFF SPOOL OFF PREFORMAT ON
    SET LINESIZE 2000 VERIFY ON FEEDBACK ON
    </code>

  • How to populate the attribute of the characteristics in Contract?

    Hi Experts,
       I need to populate the attribute "Truck Net Value" of the characteristics during the Contract creation with reference to Sales Order. Brief description of the scenerio:
               We are using  a variant material in the Sales Order. This material has different attributes which the end user need to populate during the SO creation. Now I have to create a Contract with reference to Sales Order. While creating the Contract with reference to Sales Order I want to populate the attribute "Truch Net Value" of the Sales Order with some value and update the Sales Order.  So to update the attibute of the Sales Order during Contract Creation. Is there any function module that I can use for this purpose? I know where to write the code in the standard program? But I don't know how to populate the attibute?
    Thanks
    MAN

    Hi,
    Welcome to SCN!!!
    After the contract is created, you can call the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE along with COMMIT to change the order texts. Alternatively you can use FMs SAVE_TEXT and COMMIT_TEXT to change any kind of texts.
    You can check the parameters to be passed by placing the breakpoints in these FMs, change and save the text manually from VA02 in the sales order.
    Thanks,
    Vinod.

  • How to populate the organization_code column in ST table for legacy system

    Hi, dear all,
    Now I use the stage table to load the setup&transaction collection data from a non-EBS legacy system to ASCP system.
    My question is: how to populate the organization_code column in the stage table?If the source system is EBS system, maybe it's an inventory organization code. But for the non-EBS system, which value is need fo this field? keep it as blank? or assign some value for it?
    Thanks
    Edited by: 852938 on 2011-5-4 下午10:24

    I find some words in the implementation guide, it says:"To collect data from your non-Oracle ERP systems or your trading partners' systems,you model each non-Oracle ERP system or trading partner as an Oracle Applications organization and store their setup and transaction data there".
    But I can't find where to model the application organization for the legacy system.
    anyone can give some clues? Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Question: How to populate the Language Key description is not available in the Customer text table
    The problem is ;
    Customer no : 0012345
    For this Customer no description is maintained only in EN, JA ,FR from R3 side.
    EN : HP International Ltd
    JP:HP &#12398;&#22269;&#38555;&#30340;&#12394;&#26666;&#24335;&#20250;&#31038;
    FR: Ltd International de HP
    There is no value for Language ES.
    BW side:
    User is login into language Key ES and executing the report based on this Customer no. There is no Customer text value maintained in language Key ES. It should populate the text value empty. BW system - Language ES is installed.
    I have a Reporting requirement is - I need to populate the text value for this customer No: HP International Ltd when the user login to language Key ES and execute his reports.
    /BI0/TCUSTOMER – Customer text table – I am able to see the description for the EN, JP, FR text values.

    Simplest solution if we maintained ES customer description in R/3 should be ok.
    Is their any other logic which I can implement in BW.

    Hi,
    If you are opting to load Customer Text, there are two options:
    1. R/3 maintained.
    2. Generic Extraction using Flat Files.
    Hope it helps..

  • How to populate the calculated value into screen field.

    I am doing one enhancement in QM.I have added one custom screen to notification transaction ( QM01/QM02/QM03) transaction tab strip control using the enhancement QQMA0001.The Details of the calling and called screens as shown bellow
    The Calling screen: SAPLIQS0
    Screen Number: 7790
    Screen Area :USER0001
    Called Screen: SAPLXQQM
    Screen Number: 0101
    I have developed the Custom Screen in screen 0101 and called in PBO of program SAPLIQS0 7790 screen.
    The Screen in calling perfectly .The Custom screen having different fields like Raw cost, Intermediate cost, Finished cost, SCAR Cost and Sales Order Cost Etc... These fields are out put filed types. No input for these screens.. I have few doubts regarding this
    How to populate the calculated values in Custom screen?
    Where we wrote the code to populate the calculated values in custom screen?
    You have any idea please guide me
    Thanks & Regards,
    Samantula

    As your screen fields should be global variables in SAPLXQQM, you may initialize them by implementing function module EXIT_SAPMIWO0_008 which also belongs to SAPLXQQM (Customer Exit: Transfer Notification Data to User Screen)

  • How to set the 'Configuration Bits' in the PIC16F84

    I am using the PIC16F84 in a circuit and I'm programming the assembly for the PIC.  However I can't figure out how to set the configuration bits.  For example I want to select the LP Oscillator, turn the WDT off, turn the PUT on, and turn the CP off.  Normally if I was using the IDE from Microchip I would add the line:
    _CONFIG H'3FF0'
    However Multsim does not recognize this as a valid code.  In addition the P16F84.inc file contains the following definitions:
    _CP_ON                       EQU     H'000F'
    _CP_OFF                      EQU     H'3FFF'
    _PWRTE_ON                 EQU     H'3FF7'
    _PWRTE_OFF                   EQU     H'3FFF'
    _WDT_ON                      EQU     H'3FFF'
    _WDT_OFF                     EQU     H'3FFB'
    _LP_OSC                      EQU     H'3FFC'
    _XT_OSC                      EQU     H'3FFD'
    _HS_OSC                      EQU     H'3FFE'
    _RC_OSC                      EQU     H'3FFF'
    What is the code though to select which options you want to use?

    Try this code:
    _CONFIG _CP_OFF & _PWRITE_ON & _WDT_OFF & _LP_OSC
    I tried this in the assembler and it didn't return any error messages when compiling. I found this in a PIC Book that I downloaded off the internet.
    I hope it works for you. I am new to the MCU Module and learning about it so don't consider me an expert on it by a long shot.
