Go to J1ID, select "Excise Indicator for Plant" and maintain the CST and VAT numbers of that plant.
Table - J_1IMOCOMP
Field names are
CST No - J_1ICSTNO
VAT No.- J_1ILSTNO
PAN No. - J_1IPANNO

It should be dynamically picked form GS1 Message. Should Appear in RED BOXES Shown below.What Module Parameters Should be used for this.
I have Tried destTargetMsg and destSourceMsg. But did'nt work.

You are correct. For XML to XML, you do not need BIC module.
However, since you are not using BIC module, you will not be able to enrich the metadata using the archiveXI parameter during processing at the adapter framework.
Another place to enrich the metadata would be during message mapping. You can call a custom UDF to populate the metadata and create an entry in Seeburger Message Tracking.
Please refer to the Seeburger manual for Message Tracking Function for more details on how to create the UDF.

          3)     While GR the CST and VAT amount (non deductible) is debiting in the purchase price
                 variance, and credit in the GR/IR
          4)     Which has to debit in the raw material account
          5)     Is there is any notes for the this
          6)     or any other solution plz send your reply

it is not done in OBq3
See in OBQ3..you define Pricing procedure.against pricing Procudure you will give the account Key against the condition type in the Pricing Procedure.
For this Account Key ..you Define it as Detuctable or not in OBCN.
so it determines whether to add to raw material account or not..
but see in early post which is also valid even if you have define the sdame in OBCN.

Plz see the below threads, and requesting you to plz help me , how can i apply CST and vat in purchase return ? Frequently we have received some goods from vendor, he is applied us VAT 4% and another vendor applying cst 4%..
so when ever i am doing Purchase return (122 Mvt ) and JIS, there uis no option to mention CST or VAT..

Hi,
In J1IS, it is only for Excise Duties like BED, CESS and HCESS.
VAT Comes to play at the time of MIRO when u will raise Credit memo to vendor.
so at the Time of MIRO, system will calculate VAT for Credit memo.
CST is always non-deducatble, so it comes to play at the time of GR.
and for Return Excise Invoice, if u wants VAT or CST ...then ask the ABAPER to put condition like JVRD and JIPC in smart form

I am facing some problem in migo FI documents
MY client is maintaining standard price for raw materials
While doing GR in MIGO CST and VAT ,both are non deductible taxes, is debiting in purchase price variance and crediting in GR/IR
The above said taxes are not debiting in raw material account now
I had already done all the settings in OBCN like tick mark, posting indicator and 3 Distribute to relevant expense/revenue items etc.,
but still the taxes are debiting in variance account. We are maintaining pricing procedure as TAXINJ
plz give your suggestions how to solve the problem.

If you have maintained a Standard proce control in the material master, the non deductible taxes will not post into the material account, you need to maintain a moving average price control for the material to get the non deductible taxes posted.
Price variance account is trigerred due the reason as sytem is trying to post it on to the material and you maintained it as standard price, so sytem cannot add to the material, so it posts the amount in PP account.
Change price control from S to V, you r issue will be solved

                   I need a right query to get the basic amount ,excise amount and the tax amount based on the CST or VAT tax rate.The output should be like this,
VAT
goods excisabe at 1% - taxable amt(basic+excise for vat 1%)            tax amt
goods excisable at 4%-   txable amt                                                       tax amt
CST
goods excisabe at 1% - taxable amt(basic+excise for CST 1%)            tax amt
My problem will also be solved..if i am able to get the basic value from base table OPCH itself............Since am using the PCH1 table to get the total basic amt...the values are duplicating.

If you're simply trying to place a grand total, use the 'Insert Summary' option.
Choose the measure field as the 'Field to Summarize' > Choose 'Sum' as the summary operation > Under 'Summary Location' choose 'Grand Total Report Footer'.

How to populate the time component of a cube?

We have a question regarding how to populate the time component of a cube. Let me explain:
We are using OWB 10gR2. We have created a cube with several dimensions. We are now building the mapping to load the cube. The cube operator has two columns for every dimension (e.g., "customer" and "customer_id" for the "customer" dimension).
We understand that, in this case, "customer_id" stands for the dimension business key, so we create an arrow from the business key in the source table to the "customer_id" column in the cube operator.
So far so good. The mapping works all right, and the cube is loaded correctly.
Now we need to do the same for the time dimension. We have already created the time dimension and we have loaded it. We have also included it in the cube, so now we have two new columns in it: "time_day_code" and "time", both NUMBER data type.
We have the "sale_date" column (DATE data type), in the source system and, of course, now we want to populate the date column in the cube. We suppose that, somehow, we have to translate the "sale_date" field into the numeric column of the surrogate key of the time dimension. How should do we do this? I suppose that OWB must do the translation for us, just as it does for the other dimensions, but how? We have been looking into the manuals, and we have found no explanation on how to go about this.
Any help would be appreciated.

You are right this should have been in the manuals, checked and there is only a brief mention (Using a Time Dimension in a Cube Mapping section)
The identifier format should have been documented for each level and will involve creating the formatted attribute for input to the cube operator's time dimension reference attribute.
The time dimension business keys are stored as follows;
Day Level - YYYYMMDD
Month Level - YYYYMM
Week Level - YYYYWW
Quarter - YYYYQ
Year - YYYY
If you have a source that has a SQL date datatype for example and want to construct the key for a cube's time dimension at the day level something like the following expression can be used to construct the time reference from a SQL date...
to_number(to_char( time_key, 'YYYYMMDD'))
The result of this expression can be used as input to the cube's time dimension attribute.

Does anyone know how to populate the field Discount Percent (DIS)?
This field length of Discount Percent is 2 characters, but our customer discount in the Princing Conditions (Sales Order) is longer than 2 characters (ex: 7.500-%)

I guess you are working with IS- ADEC and SPEC 2000. I am not an expert on this but leave you some hints from OSS notes I came across.
It appears like Discount Percent - DIS and Procurement Discount Percent -PDP are complementary and mutually exclusive. If one exists, the other need not.
Looks like DIS is computed as (100-PDP)/100 and it is just a 2- integer data (as in 20 Percent). It is a kind of multiplier (Factor), example if PDP discount is 10 percent, then DIS (Factor) is 0.9 and so final (net) price after discount = Price*0.9.
" If the discount comes in the S1BOOKED inbound into SD in the field DIS, then the discount has to be sent back in the DIS field .. if it came in the PDP field then it has to be sent back in the PDP field. If there was no discount in the incoming IDoc, then the discount has to be filled in the PDP if there was a change in the discount".
KDATE in SPEC 2000 file maps to DIS and KPERC to PDP.
PDP has 4 characters and per OSS note 440380, the point is ignored meaning you can work with 1225 instead of 12.25.
So may be you can work with PDP?
OSS notes: Apply to older releases but may still be applicable conceptually speaking.

596042 - Discount percent DIS not considered e processing S1ORDEXC
698668 - Incorrect calculation of unit price for PO item by S1ORDEXC

You can use Virtual Characteristics are characteristics whose values will be derived during query time.
0INFOPROV will be found in data package dimension.

Don't mix GUI and JDBC together. Split them out into separate classes.
You have a good start, but you will need to loop through your resultset and also pull the ResultSet metaData for you column headings

How to populate fields "DocEntry" and "DocNum" in UDT? Those are not UDF.

I created a UDT with document type. When I populate the data, I don't know how to populate fields "DocEntry" and "DocNum". Those are not UDF. Here is my coding. Can somebody help me out?

Currently versions of the SDK (SBO2005A SP01, SBO2007A, SBO2005B, SBO2007B) does not support Data Support of UDO-tabeles using the DI-API... That means that you can only add data to such tables using the GUI,,,
This is currently a huge problem and the number one DI-API Development Request. The status with SAP is that this will become part of the SDK in SAP Business One 8.8 (the next major release), but 8.8 does not yet have a shipment date (My guess is that it will be 2009 before we even see it in rampup)...
I know some people have experimented with writing direct SQL to such tables and know it can be done, but be aware that SAP does NOT support it!... Personally I've never done it for that reason althoug it would have been nice to do if some situations...

How to populate the ranges using FM for the SELECTs

I am still working on the FM to create a generic extractor. I went through the debugger but I am still unable to determine how the ranges are populated. RSA3 always gives me zero values for the results.
There is a RANGE statement in the sample FM and the following statements for SELECTs
RANGES: L_R_CARRID FOR SFLIGHT-CARRID,
          L_R_CONNID FOR SFLIGHT-CONNID.
and...
      LOOP AT S_S_IF-T_SELECT INTO L_S_SELECT WHERE FIELDNM = 'CARRID'.
        MOVE-CORRESPONDING L_S_SELECT TO L_R_CARRID.
        APPEND L_R_CARRID.

My question is how is L_R_CONNID and L_R_CARRID populated with low and high values for the SELECT statements? I tried to find the DS 0SAPI_SFLIGHT_SIMPLE to run and see how it is set up but there is no such DS.
Would someone take the time to say something about this in several sentences? I have my own code and it seems that it is not populating the values for the SELECTs when I debug from RSA3 when I provide the low and high values.
Would I normally populate the low and high values from the InfoPackage 'Data Selection' tab once I have implemented in BW or ready to test in BW? That would mean I have to choose those fields as selections from RSO2. Anyway, I think I have asked about this but I am hoping to get an answer to get this going...

How to populate the attribute of the characteristics in Contract?

Hi Experts,
I need to populate the attribute "Truck Net Value" of the characteristics during the Contract creation with reference to Sales Order. Brief description of the scenerio:
We are using a variant material in the Sales Order. This material has different attributes which the end user need to populate during the SO creation. Now I have to create a Contract with reference to Sales Order. While creating the Contract with reference to Sales Order I want to populate the attribute "Truch Net Value" of the Sales Order with some value and update the Sales Order. So to update the attibute of the Sales Order during Contract Creation. Is there any function module that I can use for this purpose? I know where to write the code in the standard program? But I don't know how to populate the attibute?

Hi,
Welcome to SCN!!!
After the contract is created, you can call the BAPI BAPI_SALESORDER_CHANGE along with COMMIT to change the order texts. Alternatively you can use FMs SAVE_TEXT and COMMIT_TEXT to change any kind of texts.
You can check the parameters to be passed by placing the breakpoints in these FMs, change and save the text manually from VA02 in the sales order.

My question is: how to populate the organization_code column in the stage table？If the source system is EBS system, maybe it's an inventory organization code. But for the non-EBS system, which value is need fo this field? keep it as blank? or assign some value for it?

I find some words in the implementation guide, it says:"To collect data from your non-Oracle ERP systems or your trading partners' systems,you model each non-Oracle ERP system or trading partner as an Oracle Applications organization and store their setup and transaction data there".
But I can't find where to model the application organization for the legacy system.
