How to populate Values in Value Set via API or Interface

Dear frds:
i need to know is there any API or interface available to load thousands of values in particular valueset via API or Interface. I know Dataload is the alternative but i don't want to use that as the data is too much so its not feasible.
waiting for your response
Thanks.

There is no API for fnd_flex_values.
You will have to do a direct table insert (or call FND_FLEX_VALUES_PKG which does nothing but a direct table insert).

  • How to populate the calculated value into screen field.

    I am doing one enhancement in QM.I have added one custom screen to notification transaction ( QM01/QM02/QM03) transaction tab strip control using the enhancement QQMA0001.The Details of the calling and called screens as shown bellow
    The Calling screen: SAPLIQS0
    Screen Number: 7790
    Screen Area :USER0001
    Called Screen: SAPLXQQM
    Screen Number: 0101
    I have developed the Custom Screen in screen 0101 and called in PBO of program SAPLIQS0 7790 screen.
    The Screen in calling perfectly .The Custom screen having different fields like Raw cost, Intermediate cost, Finished cost, SCAR Cost and Sales Order Cost Etc... These fields are out put filed types. No input for these screens.. I have few doubts regarding this
    How to populate the calculated values in Custom screen?
    Where we wrote the code to populate the calculated values in custom screen?
    You have any idea please guide me
    Thanks & Regards,

    As your screen fields should be global variables in SAPLXQQM, you may initialize them by implementing function module EXIT_SAPMIWO0_008 which also belongs to SAPLXQQM (Customer Exit: Transfer Notification Data to User Screen)

  • How to populate list of values on screen load

    Hi all,
    I have a list of values based on another field (ANOTHER_FIELD).
    e.g.
    select value d, value r
    from table_name
    where id = :ANOTHER_FIELD;
    ANOTHER_FIELD has default value.
    But when the screen is opened the list of values doesn't get the default value and the list of values is empty.
    Just when submmiting the form, the list of values is populated.
    Please tell me how can I populate the list of values on screen load.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    So, you have created a computation for ANOTHER_FIELD but the related list still does not get any values? And, the default value for ANOTHER_FIELD is a valid value that can be used to populate the related list?
    Have you set anything for the "Display Null" settings for the related list? Or, is the default value a value will always be in the list?

  • How to populate a default value in Text box depending on Poplist selection

    We have a requirement to populate a default value in a Text Box when user chooses a value from poplist (of type MessageChoice adjacent to the Text Box). This page is a Oracle Seeded Page. I understand that this is not possible using personalization. Can please someone guide me as to how should we proceed for this.

    Can I add PPR event to the standard page?
    YesAlso Can I change the Controller code of the standard page to catch the PPR event?
    You need not change the controller, you can extend the controller!Although Oracle discourages extension of controller, but as of now there is no other alternative! These controller extensions will mostly survive upgrades, as Oracle won't be removing all base controller classes.Is it allowed to make changes in standard XML page and import it once again?
    No, standard UIXML should not be changed. But y would u need that, you cando the Ui changes with personlization and if needed programitically in process request method of controller, by takeing control on that particular bean!
    I hope i have resolved your queries.

  • How to Maintain Tabular Item Value Following a Validation Failure

    So, I have trapped the click of the Add Row button to allow me to set some items in the new row from JavaScript/jQuery. This is working great.
    addRow();
    $('td[headers="IDR_RUN_TIME"]:last').text(lastIntradayRefreshText);
    ...In the above example, IDR_RUN_TIME is Display Only.
    However, when the user submits the page, i.e. applies the changes, if some valdation fails, for example a particular column is NULL, the value that was set via the JavaScript above is set to NULL.
    How can I stop this from happening, i.e. maintain the value that was set when the row was added.
    -Joe

    I ended up basically just bypassing the APEX validations entirely. I resolved this by adding my own JS validation layer that would allow me to trap the errors without ever submiting the page. (Actually, the code allows me to specify, via a paramter, whether to submit the page.)
    So, the question is answered but, I didn't end up using anyone's answers here (although they were porbably all good ones).
