How to port over IE favorites to iphone?

Hello all, does anyone know how to port over favorites from IE browser on a PC to an iPhone 4s/Safari? I tried iTunes, but it says bookmarks are being synced by iCloud, which I do have setup, but the favorites are not being synced over via iCloud?

What may work is to restore the iPhone fom the backup of the iPod. However, if the two devices ahve different apps that come with the device, that may mess up some of the folders.

Clarisworks, you need Appleworks, which will only work with Mac OS X10.6.8 or earlier. See this tip if you must go newer. Mac Pros with newer hardware configuration than July 20, 2011 can't use Mac OS X 10.6.8 or earlier without this tip and then it would be Mac OS X Server. I'm not sure if the new black Mac Pro supports that configuration or not.
iPhoto, there is an iPhoto for all versions of Mac OS X.
iTunes, there is an iTunes for all versions of Mac OS X. Note with iTunes versions 11 and later, which are needed for syncing with iOS 7 or or later, you will lose coverflow, if you liked that feature. Sadly you can't run an older version of iTunes from within Mac OS X 10.9 or later.

thanks but if Im using iCloud For my Iphone and backing my ipod touch to my computer is that ok or would I have to back both up to ICloud. As u can telll, I want to kep the 2 devices seperate as much as possible, only putting on my phone what i choose to download, buy, or take from my current itunes library most importantly.

If you are syncing using iCloud, try going to System Preferences/iCloud (computers) and checking Safari. If it is checked, try deselecting it, wait 10-15 seconds, and then check it again.

It totally depends. The servers are getting slammed. Bunch of people trying to download at the same time.
Anecdotally, it took me about 20 minutes.
Give it time, keep trying, should eventually work.
Ways you can maybe speed it up - use iTunes, get off wifi and do a hard connection via ethernet.

How do I restore from backup on iPhone 4S?

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 on Wednesday and last synced it with my Mac on Thursday night at 11:30pm before going to bed. I bought the iPhone 4S on Friday morning and started it as a new iPhone. I think that I did something wrong, because I never saw the option to "Restore From Backup" so that I could port over my last iPhone 4 with iOS 5 back up. Can someone tell me if/how I can do this? Maybe I need to restore my 4S and start over. Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks Bryan. Sorry to sound like such an idiot. The first time I tried that, but backup options didn't auto populate. I restored the 4S and followed your advice above. Worked like a charm.
