How to post adjusment directly to AP/AR account

Hi Fi Gurus,
Good Day.
I would like to ask if ever where qwe can post adjustments directly to AP/AR gl accounts?
After year end, we need to have adjusments to our AP/AR account.
I know that the transactions from AR/AP account are directly link to all the postings from other module.
However, i need to check if there are transactions that allowed as to direcly post to GL account of AP and AR?
What tcode it is?
Hoping for your positive response.
Thank you in advance.

Hi ,
You  may create a AR/AP  GL account where you must post the adjustment entry . This GL account should be allowed to post directly  The clubbing to the accounts should be with the AR/AP reconcilliation a/c . So balance sheet should reflect the AR/AP reconcilliation a/c + AR/AP adjustment account ..
Entry at the time of adjustment will be :-
Provision for Bad Debt -
Dr  ( P&L)
A/R   adjustment A/c -
Cr  ( B/S)..
When you write off bad debts .. entry will be ..
A/C adjustment A/c -
Dr
A/R individual Customer A/c -
Cr
Please make sure that these adjustment entry must be backed by valid documentation as auditors always query on it..
Regards
Sarada
Provisions have to be made customer/

  • How to Post Data to a User's Account

Has anyone figured out a good way to post data to a user's account? For example, if a site visitor completes something on the site (ie: a quiz) is there a way to show a badge/score on a page inside of their account (ie: you've completed the following tasks/unlocked the following achievements)? It would be nice for the user to see a history of completions/badges.
    Thanks,
    Brian

    Hi,
    No this is not possible.
If your workitem is sent to 5 users, you should start there. Where is it sent and where are the agents determined.
What you can do, in case of 4-eyes approval is that you use one agent as the excluded agent in the agents declaration of a workflow step.

    Hi,
How can I upload photoes directly from my 5800 phone to my Ovi account
I have checked the "share online" menu and found only "Vox" & "Ikbis"
I tried to add a new account - "update services" but didn't work for me
    Regards

    Dear Raead,
This service is not available for us (Middle East user) and other countries and I don't know the reason why !!
Flickr is also not available for our reagon, some people say for social, ethical and cultural reasons !!!
Nokia come on, this should not be the way you deal with your customers in HUGE area and potential number of users.
Please we want these services to be activated for us.

  • How can I print directly out of Pages on my iPad?

How can I print directly out of Pages on my iPad if my Brother printer is not airprint compatible? I currently have a Brother MFC-J615W and have downloaded the Brother iPrint app; but that only works with pictures and PDFs it seems.  I know I can use the cloud to transfer and just print from my macbook, but I am starting school and would love to cut out that middle step if possible.  I know... how lazy is that? But I feel like I should be able to make it work with a little ingenuity.  Thanks for any info you can provide.

Try to arrange them manually afterwards: afaik, it is impossible to force an order when syncing:

  • HOW TO POST TO ACCOUNTS WITH OPEN ITEM MANGED IN NON LEADING LEDGER

    Dear Expert,
While try to post to GL codes which is open item manged in Non LEading/Parallel Ledger it is not allowing.
Then how to post to these GL codes.
    REgards,
    Alok

    Hi Alok,
In the new G/L accounting, it is not possible to make direct
postings to accounts managed on an open item basis when you use a
    particular ledger or ledger group.
This is due to the fact that the open items are relevant for all ledgers
and they must not be assigned to an indiviual ledger.
There is no workaround available in this case.

  • How to post externally to asset reconciliation account

    Hi,
I need to post one entry externally to asset reconciliation account & I dont want to update asset due to that entry. How to do that?
Pl. help. I will award points for suitable answer.
    Thanks
    Veena

You are permitted to post the recon account undercertain special circumstances :
USe the transaction codes OAMK and OASV.
Kindly read the SAP on line documentation before making a postings directly to the recon account.
    Definition of the Reconciliation Accounts
You are not allowed to manually post to the reconciliation accounts for Asset Accounting in Financial Accounting. Normally, you designate the corresponding General Ledger accounts in Financial Accounting as reconciliation accounts. This change, however, can no longer be made in Financial Accounting, once these accounts already have balances from the legacy data transfer. However, you can use a special report to assign these accounts the status of reconciliation accounts in Financial Accounting (in Customizing for Asset Accounting, choose Preparing for Production Startup ® Production Startup ® Set Reconciliation Accounts).
There is another report for removing this specification (Reset Reconciliation Accounts).
Subsequent Correction Postings to Reconciliation Accounts
Suppose you have already defined the asset G/L accounts in Financial Accounting as reconciliation accounts, but still need to transfer balances to these accounts, or make corrections. You can make correction postings to these reconciliation accounts with a special posting transaction in Customizing for Asset Accounting (Transfer Balances), using posting key 40 or 50. You can only postings to those accounts in a company code with implementation status (Customizing for Asset Accounting, choose Preparing for Production Startup ® Production Startup ® Activate Company Code).

  • How to post Special G/L ?

    Hi SD Experts,
When i try to do a posting, system prompts error saying that this specific account is marked as a reconciliation account for account type "D" and cannot therefore be directly posted to.
How can i post this specific special G/L accounting?
    Please advise. Thanks!

    Hi,
Can you please check and confirm following details:
    Account group (Tab: Type/ Description):
*Reco Account fo Acct. Type (Tab: Control Data):
*As per your statement it seems that its a Reco A/c maintained for "D-Customer"
    To do so:
    T. Code: FS00
    Enter G/L and Company Code.
Also, Check Field Status Group under Tab: Create/bank/interest
Attach Reco. A/c in Customer Master (under Tab: Company Code, Sub Tab: Account Management, Field: Recon. account)
Hope, this may resolve the query.
    Best Regards,

  • HOW TO: Post a SQL statement tuning request - template posting

This post is not a question, but similar to Rob van Wijk's "When your query takes too long ..." post should help to improve the quality of the requests for SQL statement tuning here on OTN.
On the OTN forum very often tuning requests about single SQL statements are posted, but the information provided is rather limited, and therefore it's not that simple to provide a meaningful advice. Instead of writing the same requests for additional information over and over again I thought I put together a post that describes how a "useful" post for such a request should look like and what information it should cover.
I've also prepared very detailed step-by-step instructions how to obtain that information on my blog, which can be used to easily gather the required information. It also covers again the details how to post the information properly here, in particular how to use the \ tag to preserve formatting and get a fixed font output:
    http://oracle-randolf.blogspot.com/2009/02/basic-sql-statement-performance.html
So again: This post here describes how a "useful" post should look like and what information it ideally covers. The blog post explains in detail how to obtain that information.
In the future, rather than requesting the same additional information and explaining how to obtain it, I'll simply refer to this HOW TO post and the corresponding blog post which describes in detail how to get that information.
    *Very important:*
Use the \ tag to enclose any output that should have its formatting preserved as shown below.
So if you want to use fixed font formatting that preserves the spaces etc., do the following:
    \   This preserves formatting
\And it will look like this:
       This preserves formatting
. . .Your post should cover the following information:
    1. The SQL and a short description of its purpose
    2. The version of your database with 4-digits (e.g. 10.2.0.4)
    3. Optimizer related parameters
    4. The TIMING and AUTOTRACE output
    5. The EXPLAIN PLAN output
    6. The TKPROF output snippet that corresponds to your statement
    7. If you're on 10g or later, the DBMS_XPLAN.DISPLAY_CURSOR output
The above mentioned blog post describes in detail how to obtain that information.
Your post should have a meaningful subject, e.g. "SQL statement tuning request", and the message body should look similar to the following:

PS: Just noticed that it actually sometimes doesn't show the proper formatting although the code tags are there. Changing to the \ tag helped in this case, but it seems to be odd.

  • On-line store and how to contact Creative directly???

5On-line store and how to contact Creative directly?CHi everybody. Came up with the following problem: I'm from Ukraine and I'm not able to buy anything from Creative on-line store.... I mean you don't send products to Ukraine. Why is that? Is that so difficult? Just to send it by express or regular mail? Anyway I pay forward for everything.
Well, fine, may be there're some reasons for that. I've found your russian representati'ves and came up with the problem that they don't have on their web-site on-line store at all. Well, they have a link to it, but it's just a blank page....
Moreover I couldn't find any online help(chat) or e-mail or feedback form to write my questions. That is really annoying. The same situation was with apple online store....where I had to spent around 2 hours to find some online chat and ask.
No information on where to buy your products in Russia or in Ukraine, no on line store on russian web site, and finally impossibility to buy products in main on line store.
I would be greatfull for any information.
    THank you in advance

Well, I've been to this page. I can't send a message because I don't have yet any creative product and so I can't fill in the form few required fields (Date of purchase and serial number).
Is there any other way to contact creative?
    thanks for reply

  • How can I associate 2 appleids with one account or use a different Appleid for imessage as described in another post?

How can I associate 2 appleids with one account or use a different Appleid for imessage as described in another post?
I have rejoined the iPhone community, not with one iPhone but with two. My wife agreed to move from the unenlightened!
I have set up both under my apple account and want to keep it that way. But I do not want iMessages going to both phones. I would like separate message queues but share all apps and other purches from the store.
I have created a separate AppleID for her but under Settings>Message>Receive At (it currently says 2 addresses) > ... will not allow me to change the current eMail address and when I add hers (her appleid) it errors out. The only thing I can do in the Apple ID field is to manage my account and not change it to hers.
How can I have 2 iPhones (and my iPad) on the same account but have separate identies?
    Thanks,
    LpGrumpy

    1. Yes. Restart with the Option key held down as needed.
    2. No, it won't be a problem.
