How to post costs after project close?

I wish to post costs to a project ( WBS/Network) after the status is set to close?
Can you please tell me how we can do it.

In the Closed status you can no longer make any changes to the project hierarchy. The status is passed on to subordinate WBS elements.
The status allows
You to post actual costs to orders and networks that are assigned to the WBS element, as long as their status permit this
The status prohibits
You from assigning networks, production orders or CO orders to the WBS element.
You from posting actual costs to the WBS element
The status deactivates assets in construction that are assigned to the WBS element.
You can cancel the Closed status. In this case the system sets the Technically completed status.
However, it is best not to post costs to the subordinate WBS/network either. If required, undo the CLSD status and post.

Hi Comandante,
Release Project first, then Execute MIGO transaction.
Selection Goods Issue, against Others.
select movement type 221 Q.
Check the availability of stock for any material in MMBE for same plant which is assigned in the WBSE/Project.
Enter material, qty, WBSE, Plant and storage location and then Issue material. Check the actual cost against WBSE in CJI3.
As suggested by robert, you can post actuals in the project but you have to run more transactions.

Please read the case:
we purchase the imported material, now we should do the MIRO first for the custom duty, but we didnot do this. directly done the GRN. In GRN also we did not capture the excise.
Now we have to pay the custom, how can we do this in the system.
Please do the needful.

Hi,
First reverse the GRN For that Material, as you have n't captured any excise in GRN, so excise is captured for that material.
Once you reverse the GRN then
1) Do the MIRO for customs duty posting.
2) Capture the excise in MIGO with respect to Commercial invoice you posted in MIRO
4) Post the excise
3) MIRO

Just go to Adobe Exchange, click on the link that asks "Do you produce conetnt" and submit your ideas. It takes a while to get them reviewed and approved. Help is available on Adobe Exchange. https://www.adobeexchange.com
If you want to upload to Exchange Clasic there's a link on the right side of the classic page. You'll have to sign up, create an account, and go from there. It's not hard.

How to trash media after project is done

I'm using FCP 7. I just finished a project, burned to DVD, saved a QT (full resolution) in my external HD and now I would like to get rid of all the media I used for the project for disk space purpose.
Can someone please tell me how do I do that? I have an external HD where I keep all my FCP projects (scratch disk).
Also, once I do that, will I still be able to edit the saved project in the future (the one I keep in my internal HD) or once the media is gone, you can't do anything else?

If the QT file you exported was self-contained, then you can edit that later if needed.
To delete files associated with that project, open your scratch disc and locate the folders bearing that project's name. There should be a folder with that project's name inside these folders on your scratch disc:
Audio Render Files
Autosave Vault
Capture Scratch
Render Files
Also locate the Thumbnail Cache and the Waveform Cache folders; files for that project will also be located in those two folders, but not in their own named folder.
Move all of the above to the trash, then delete the trash.
Since the project file itself is relatively small, I recommend that you keep that one ... just in case you ever need to re-capture/re-edit.

How to post cost of goods sold to io per functional area and account determ

1. We create a sales order with reference to a revenue IO with functional area ABC01.
2. We create a delivery document on the sales order and goods issue XYZ.
3. We expect the cost of goods sold for the coal to hit an existing IO with functional area ABC02 based on account determination for XYZ.
4. Instead we see both the revenue and the COGS hitting the revenue IO on the Sales roder.
5. For now, the accountants responsible for those companies have been making journal entries all along to correct the postings.
Please advise what needs to be done for step 3 to happen so that the extra step 5 need not be done.

What is the IO you have assigned in the Sales Order please?
Just check the Sales Order - Account assignement, so that you can able to change if there is a different IO.
System won't pick up IO automayically until unless you secify in Sales order to done OKB9 settings.

I am posting this again as i typed wrong word for point no 4.
1.If you are using Internal Activity to plan Labor Hours then while confirming the Activity system will post actual cost(Controlling document) .The cost is Secondary cost.
2.For external services it will be after acceptance of service in ML81N.
3.For external services it will be after MIGO.
4.For General Cost activities you cant get costs after confirmation.For that you can post by FB50 or you can post a controlling document also by various CO tcodes(Manual cost allocation) i think tcode is KB15N .

System Still posting Secondary Cost after locking everything in master data

My question is i am putting a cost against service order through confirmation of activities. This service order has work centre and work centre has cost centre assigned to it to calculate cost but the cost centre is blocked for every kind posting but after confirmation system is still posting to calculate cost against that cost centre. If i try to put cost directly against that cost centre in journal system will stop me to do this but for secondary posting (although it is blocked for that purpose as well) it is still posting through the scenario i have explianed enough. Can anybody explain me how can i stop that?

To alter the effect of this indicator so that sender cost centers are also locked against allocation, change the type of messsage GM 155 from I (information) to E (error). Go to OBA5 and change the message control.

How do I create a project site after I publish a project from project pro 2013 in Project Server 2013? I'm trying to look for an option in the ribbon but haven't found any.

Hi James,
See in the article the procedure for site provisionning settings.
Note that the project site is created based on the template associated to the chosen project type (EPT) when the user first publishes his project. Be aware that if you allow the user to choose weither or not he'll create a sharepoint site when publishing
his project, he will be prompted in Project Pro with a dialog box giving the choice to create or not the site.

I have a situation like this:
My customer do not emplement PS(project system) and when managing sales from project, i don't know how to calculate cost of good sold for the service line.
Each project (contruction site; building, ....), I use 1 material master as service item to manage. while project excecution, we issue material; collect labor cost; cost of external service, so on.... total up to COGS. but i don't know how to get this one in Sales order. Could you give me some suggestions?

You need to create all these activities ( LABOUR CCOST/ COST OSFG EXTERNAL SERVICES)as Service Material and then put it into S.O. as Service Item and Bill the same.

We added the statistical cost element of 90 category for project stock BS account.
Now we find that some of the project stock don't have statistical cost,
some of the project stock have statistical cost(Value type: WRTTP=11).
How can we reconstruct the statistical cost of project stock to make it right?

Try running CJEN for your project. Make sure you remove the test run tick.

you can update from iMovie versions 7, 8 and 9, but iMovie HD is iMovie 6.
Maybe you can update in two steps, first from iMovie 6 to iMovie 7, 8 or 9 then to iMovie 10.
