There can be a few things that might cause this issue where music is not alphabetically organized on your phone. Resyncing content is certainly one of the steps to use to troubleshoot that. Next I would quit all the running apps on your iPhone:
iOS: Force an app to close
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the device and test the issue again:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting
If the issue persists, backup your device to iTunes and then restore it as a new device and verify that it works.
How to erase your iOS device and then set it up as a new device or restore it from backups
If it does, then restore your backup to either verify it still works and the software just needed reinstalled, or isolate the issue to the backup file itself.

I have an iPhone and lot of apps on it. All of them are syncing with iPad, but I want to see only HD apps on iPad. So, can I forbid to install iPhone apps on my iPad?

You just click on the iPad while connected to itunes, then click on the apps menu on the iPad in iTunes and you can select deselect which apps are synced. It has a drop down on the apps page to let you sort by date, device type, etc. There is also an option that prevents autosyncing of new apps.

How to prevent iPhone 4 with iOS 5 from deleting email from the MSN server

when I was running iOS 4 I could sent my iPhone to never delete emails from the server but I just noticed that after the update iOS 5 when I delete an emial from my iPhone it shows up as deleted in my Outlook on my laptop. I looked and was not able to find a setting to prevent my iPhone from deleting emails fromt the server.
Am I missing something?

Thank you for responding! The music I no longer want, I removed. This is why it's confusing me so much. The music I've deleted from both my iPhone and my computer is STILL showing up in my Music on iTunes, under my iPhone in devices. Does that make sense? I'm not particularly down with the techie lingo. Haha.

How to prevent iphone 5 from discharging rapidly

Since upgrading to ios 7, iPhone 5 (vintage 4/2013) seems to discharge more rapidly, to the point where I have to charge to get to end of day. I get eamil manually, not automatically. The screen illumination is set at about 30-35% level. I mostly check email, have occasional phone/text usage and occasional internet access, yet the phone discharges to 20 % or less before the enfd of the day. Are there settings i can/should adjust to lessen the problem? Or is there a fundamental problem with the software--or even the phone itself? Thanks for any suggestions.

Some things to try:
1. Notifications - disable any you really do not need or use, especially any that use location services.
2. Change any push mail to timed fetch with a long'ish time period, or preferably to manual fetch and control exactly when email updates.
3. Settings->General->Background app refresh - either disable background app refresh, or restrict which apps can do so.
4. Settings->General->Restrictions->System services - you can actually disable everything there and your phone will work just fine (these are all services that send data to Apple and do not affect how anything on your phone works). At the least consider disable Frequent Locations (can make heavy use of location services) and Popular near me.
Also, it is not at all uncommon with any smart phone that you have to charge daily, or for heavy users, more frequently. These are computers with many functions, many uses, and tiny little batteries (for what they do and how they are used) - its just somewhat a fact of life that smart phones need frequent charging. Check reviews on places like phone scoop and you'll see the single most common complain about any and every smart phone is the battery life.

How to prevent iPhone 5 from syncing music out of order

So for the past month or so, whenever i tried to sync my iPhone 5 to my iMac, my music would end up out of alphabetical order on my iPhone.
The majority of music would end up under '#' on my iPhone even though its perfectly organized on my Mac and i would have to resync my phone multiple times to get at least some of the music up the list alphabetically.
Although it did have some affect, the problem still persists with a '#' ending up under every couple letters.
Is there a way to resolve this or should i restore my iPhone?

How to prevent iphone 3 owners from downloading?

I'm in a bit of a quandary. I created an Adobe AIR app which supports iPhone 4 retina resolution, and iPad standard resolution (even on iPad 3). I assumed that Adobe AIR doesn't support iPhone 3 devices and resolutions, so I didn't even package Default PNGs for those old devices.
The app passed and went live in the store back in September. I think I was using AIR 3.7 at the time. Last week, I pushed through an update that uses AIR 3.9. That's been approved and is live.
Today, I find out that people with iPhone 3GS can download the game! Now first of all, how did it pass if iPhone 3 actually is supported?! The person who downloaded it told me that only a portion of the screen is visible (of course! iphone3 is lower res than my app is set to!)
So beyond the shock of Apple not rejecting it or restricting it from download on low-res devices, how do *I* restrict it? I cannot find anything in iTunes to set this, and the only info I could find out there was using "iOS Keys" and finding a device feature only supported by iPhone 4 and up.
Anyone else encounter this problem? If I don't fix it quick, people will end up dinging me with 1 star ratings. The game is NOT meant to run on such slow hardware.

From what you say I guess you have the stage center aligned along with no_scale. The problem with that approach is that you’re only taking care of a narrow range of device sizes, and 3gs users would presumably just see a little bit of the stage. Users on a 2560x1600 Kindle Fire HD would see a huge amount of overspill area.
The scale modes of show_all and no_border happen not to cause performance issues. If you think of your existing FLA, there surely are a lot of places where you have a movieclip not at 100%, and it seems to work ok. Those scale modes are effectively putting the entire stage into a scaled movieclip, and it works well.
Depending on the nature of the graphics you could try GPU render mode. That’s what we’ve been doing lately, with apps that are a mixture of code and timeline driven animation. If you can afford $3 to check this out, and perhaps have young relatives who are fans of Mike the Kniight, here’s one of the apps we did recently, that uses show_all, 60 fps, GPU render mode:

The Android ones will work on the smallest 800x480 device, or the large new Kindle Fires. The stage size is 1024x576 (16:9 ratio, as would be seen on iPhone 5), there is enough overspill content to fill an iPad screen, and we use code to place some of the UI near the edges of the device. It generally works well.
BTW, one tough case for GPU mode is the iPad 1. It doesn’t have too much GPU memory. I’m currently working on an optimized version of another app, where I have taken all of the images and made them be custom 8 bit PNGs. That ends up being a larger file size, but the GPU memory usage goes down to 25% of what it was.

The passcode lock code at the iPhone 4 was broken into by a program from Internet. ( By connecting the phone to a PC that program tells the passcode) Does someone knows how to prevent unauthorized opening of iPhone? How to secure the passcode ?

My daughter has an iPhone 4 secured with passcode lock. A visitor in their house took her unattended iPhone, connected to the PC, from a certain program got her pascode and did open her phone to go through her private messages. It seems someone has stolen your daughters phone there is an application called FindMyiPhone if she had location services on and the thief hasn't disabled it you can possibly track the phone down. Sadly you cannot stop the thief from gaining access to her phone and personal information. Please report your phone stolen to your local police station and call Apple aswell, they can possibly put a lock on your phone aswell as put it into a carrier block which prevents the thief from calling anyone or putting a new sim card in it.

If you didn't enable find my iphone in icloud settings on your phone, then you can't do a lost mode or lock your phone.
I would assume you had a passcode on your phone to lock it. If you didn't then start changing your passwords.
Report the lost to your phone carrier - local authorities.

How to prevent apps from syncing in the new version of itunes?

Hey there.
I brang my macbook to Applestore cause it had a problem and they downloaded the latest version of itunes. Everything's fine and my music, videos and apps are in the new itunes like before. But now, when I want to sync my iphone, a pop window asks me to give the password of the itunes account I used to download some of my apps or it will delete them and their data. The problem is that one of these accounts is an old friend's one and I actually lost all contact with him. So basically now I can't sync my iphone at all or it will delete all my apps.
Has anyone any idea how to sort that out? Or at least knows how to prevent apps from syncing in this new version of itunes?

So what you're saying is the retry values only come in to play if the RADIUS server is inaccessible, right?
Windows laptops actually work just fine, because many of them are using machine authentication. The main issue seems to be from iPhones, which are saving the username/password and then re-attempting too many times when the user changes password.
One solution is to use LDAP instead of AD within ACS, but the downside is the password can be guessed thousands of time in a row and open to dictionary attacks. We do enforce complex password policies so the liklihood of an account being compromised is slim, but, I'd rather eliminate the chance entirely.

I configured all my iOS devices to sync with my MBP Retina (over wifi) - but the problem is that when I am using my MBA, the devices will also automatically connect to the MBA Itunes over wifi when I launch iTunes in the MBA.

How to prevent automatic download and install of Reader 8.1.2

Hi-
I have Adobe Reader 7.0.9 and I need to keep it as my default Adobe reader program and plug-in for some applications that I use.
Over the last week, Adobe reader 8.1.2 downloads automatically and installs itself in my business laptop (Win XP SP2) and replaces my 7.0.9 version.
Each time I uninstall the 8.1.2 and reinstall the 7.0.9. I ensure the option of automatic download and install is disabled in 7.0.9.
But it still happens I have for the xth time today the new 8.1.2 in my laptop.
Anybody knows what is going on ? And how can I solve this issue to keep my 7.0.9 version ?

That's *not* a good thing to hear.
After the download finishes, do NOT press the Install Now button. Try the following to remove the download from the device. Here's the procedure I came up with last time this happened with iOS 7...It may or may not work.

Afterwards if you succeed, block Apple's update server using the following method so it wont get pushed to the device again:
In your router's settings, set up a block (using Access Restrictions or similar in the router's web interface) to mesu.apple.com. This will prevent the devices from "phoning home" to Apple, checking for the update and getting the download pushed to it again.
