How to prevent or undo Landed Costs JE transaction in 2007 and 8.8

Hello,
My client prefer Landed Cost module in 2005 version as we can choose not to post JE transaction and Landed Cost is only used for recording purpose. However, in 2007 version JE is automated and Freight charges and other costs have already taken in by AP Inovice. Please advise.
Thanks & Cheers'
Vince

Hi Vince,
I don't think there is option to prevent Landed Costs JE transaction in new version. If your Landed Cost is only used for recording purpose, I would suggest you do not add it to the system. You may put them as remark.
It is no point to undo JE because it is time consuming and error prone process.
Thanks,
Gordon

How to prevent user or group to use 3-tier WebI and DeskI in XI 3.1
This function is enable in BOE 6.5 by using Supervisor.

    Hi,
You can explicitly deny access to these applications from the CMC in BOE 3.1. Open the CMC, click on BusinessObjects Enterprise Application and then select the WebI.
From the right hand side click on the 'Net Access' section for that group and disable the 'Log on to Web-Intelligence and view this object in CMC.'
This will prevent the option of the WebI for that group.
    I hope this helps you.

  • How can I modify a Landed Costs with multiple vendors

Normally, you just open a new Landed Costs, select same vendor as the original, and choose Copy From > Landed Costs, select original and modify!.
With multiple vendors the "Copy from" lists just turns out empty.
I have searched similar cases but the newest post i found was from 2009 and was not resolved.
    I'm using SAP B1 9.0

    Hi,
    Tested in 8.81 version PL10.
    1. If there is no landed cost for both vendors, the list of land cost is empty. Make sure vendors that selected in landed cost should have landed cost
    2. If you add multiple vendor, system will show landed cost document for second vendor not for first vendor.

  • How to prevent ipad apps from being stored in the iCloud and how to bring them back to the iPad

I have an iPad Mini Retina with 128GB of storage.  I purchased about a dozen apps and it gets stored in the iCloud and I don't know how to access them on the cloud storage.  Plus I have many apps from me itouch that I use and they are also stored on the iCloud.
How can I prevent further apps that I buy from gettting transfer to the iCloud?
How can I download my existing apps that I purchase and that are from my itouch that are stored in the iCloud into my iPad?
How do I access my iCloud storage from my iPad?
    Thanks.

You make it sound like apps are disappearing from your iPad and uploading to iCloud. That's not how it works. Maybe somebody (or you) deleted the apps and you don't realize it.
You cannot prevent apps from being stored in iCloud. That is one of the reasons for using iCloud. It will store all of your purchased apps and you will be able to download them if you delete them, or if you buy another device that you want to use the apps on.
If you have apps that are in iCloud, just go to the Purchased Tab in the app store, tap on the Not on this iPad button at the top. Look for any of the apps that you want to download and then tap the cloud icon in order to download them to the iPad. You access your iCloud storage in the purchased tabs of the different stores or in the apps themselves. Any data that is being backed up in iCloud is on the device in the corresponding apps and you don't need to access that data in iCloud. It's at your fingertips already,
Purchased apps do NOT count against your iCloud storage. If you have 60GB of apps, they do not take up the alloted 5GB of free storage that you get. The app data would count against the storage but not the apps themselves.

  • How to Cancle Landed Cost

Dear All CAn we cancle Landed Cost in SAP B1 2007 B

    Hi,
You can't cancel created landed cost. For more detail about this, read the sap note 1081792. This note is particularly for B1 2007A but can also be used as a reference in B1 2007B.
However, you could create a manual JE to reverse the JE of created landed cost.
If you want to correct or edit the created landed cost, you could use landed cost --> copy from --> landed cost. If the landed cost is closed, you can't edit it except cancel its JE only.

  • Need solutions for Budget, Landed cost and difference in 2005b and 2007B

    Hi all,
Need help for the following scenarios
    1. How to define budget for Purchase order and cost centers
    2. Landed Cost in SAP B1 2007 how do we do? I am getting an error message stating that Landed cost allocation account is not defined....
    3. Difference in 2005B and 2007B
    Regards
    Shashi

    Thankyou Jasper,
Landed cost problem has been solved.
Regarding Budget set up My client need Budget at costcenter level. i.e Cost center wise they want the budget. As of my knowledge to do this we need to activate Account segmentation right?
Without doing that is there any other way where we can set Budget cost center level also?
one more thing, there is a check box of purchase order, Goods Receipt and Accounting at the time of setting up Budget in General setting? what it is for?
Regariding difference in 2005b and 2007B I was not able to get documentation on this.

  • SAP Landed Cost crash

    Hi,
Appreciate some advice here.  Our client has an item A1000 with volume = 58,912,000.
After process a landed cost with this item A1000, SAP cannot open this landed cost.
It will try to load it, and then close the screen with an error message 'Money Overflow'
Has anyone encounter such problem and how do you resolve it?
I have logged a case with SAP support center and am aware that this is a bug to be fixed.  However, a solution needs to be available to our client now.
    Really appreciate some advice here.

    Hi,
Do this problem / error appears after you added the landed cost to a certain GRPO and created landed cost journal ?
Another guess is that you have processed landed cost and created a journal for it and when trying to do that, you've got the error.
If you want to amend the value where the FOB price included landed cost has been created the journal, I think you must manually reverse the transaction using journal entry manual but I am not so sure for this.

  • How to prevent JFileChooser automatically changing to parent directory?

When you show only directories, and click on the dir icons to navigate, and then dont select anything and click OK, it automatically 'cd's to the parent folder.
My application is using the JFileChooser to let the user navigate through folders and certain details of 'foo' files in that folder are displayed in another panel.
So we dont want the chooser automatically changing dir to parent when OK is clicked. How to prevent this behavior?
I considered extending the chooser and looked at the Swing source code but it is hard to tell where the change dir is happening.

To demonstrate this, I took the standard JFileChooserDemo from the Sun tutorial and modified it adding these lines
// NEW line 45 in constructor

                   File file = (File) e.getNewValue();
                   System.out.println("DIRECTORY:" + file.getPath());

  • Unable to close landed costs in 8.8

    Forum,
It would appear that in 8.8 PL17 you are unable to mark a landed cost as 'closed' either by right clicking on the landed cost form or by going into the data menu. Upon checking, you were able to mark a landed cost as closed in SAP 2005. Is anyone aware of any such issues?
    Regards,
    Juan.

    Hello,
My requirement is to be able to close the landed cost. This was possible on SAP 2005. I have the following query written on SAP 2005 which lists all 'Open' Landed Costs.
    SELECT     dbo.OIPF.DocEntry, dbo.OIPF.DocNum, dbo.OIPF.DocDate, dbo.OIPF.DocDueDate, dbo.OIPF.CardCode, dbo.OIPF.SuppName, dbo.OIPF.DocStatus,
                          dbo.OUSR.USER_CODE, dbo.OIPF.DocTotal, dbo.OIPF.CostSum, dbo.OIPF.DocCur, dbo.OIPF.DocRate, dbo.OIPF.Canceled, dbo.OIPF.JdtMemo,
                          dbo.OIPF.JdtNum
    FROM         dbo.OIPF INNER JOIN
                          dbo.OUSR ON dbo.OIPF.UserSign = dbo.OUSR.USERID
    WHERE     (dbo.OIPF.DocStatus = 'o')
When i raise a landed cost in SAP 8.8 and run the above query it lists the newly entered landed cost. I can't see a way of closing it?

  • Weight and volume in Landed cost!

    Hi, everybody
Can you tell me about Weight and Volume in Landed cost.

Can you explain for me! Thank you very much

    Hi Tien,
please, check go to the 'Form settings' on the landed cost window, select 'volume' column and you will find the 'volume' field is blank. Input the correct 'volume' value and the landed cost can be allocated by volume. Test it and see if your issue is solved.

    Support,
When adding a Landed Cost into SAP 8.8 and using the 'Copy from' Goods Receipt PO, i insert an amount under the 'costs' tab and click on 'Add' I get the following message:
    Not enough Data [Message 173-1]
Would anyone be able to shed any light on this message?

Solution found shortly after raising this thread. Problem was that the user had entered a zero valued PO and Goods Receipt PO.

  • Landed cost and cogs

    hi,
    1) i was told that landed cost (inbound freight cost) is part of cogs. may i know why?
what i understand a product cost is made up of direct labour, direct material and manufacturing overhead but no landed cost.
    2) distribution cost (outbound freight when selling) is not landed cost. it is not part of cogs. the cost should be reported at where?
    can have advice?
    thanks
    rgds

    Hi,
It seems u r mixing landing cost for direct material(Procured) and u r finished goods(produced).
In the case of procured material all the costs incurred to bring the material upto their usage level u can account as the material cost. Landing Cost is one such price. U account the cost of the procurement material as direct cost in the product in which it is consumed.
In the case of produced goods COGM includes Direct MaterialsDirect Labour Production Overehads. COGS is COGM+All Indirect overheads.
Here all Indirect overheads means all the cost as a producer u incurr to distribute to u r customer. Landing cost will be more relevant from the customer point of view. For him landed cost is purchase price(u can understand producers COGS)+ all incidental costs.

  • How to Book the Diesel / Petrol cost against vehicle wise which is purchased outside

    Dear PM Guru's,
I have one scenario, i have few vehicles which are using for company business purpose and always purchasing the diesel at petrol bunks which are located at outside of company premises. How i can book this diesel cost against to equipment? and how i can get the report of vehicle consumption analysis? Please guide me.
    regards
    JKM

You can book the diesel consumption against equipment by mentioning the equipment number in MIGO / MB1C transaction in text field.
Fleet management will help you to track the diesel consumption if consumption happens from internal warehouse.
If you want to do Vehicle Consumption analysis using MCIZ report, then you can configure the settings under Settings for Fleet Management. Here, without creating any goods movement document, update the measurement documents for Distance or Running hours (as per your requirement) & Fuel consumption.
IMG - Plant maintenance & Customer service - Master Data - Technical objects - Equipment - Settings for Fleet management
There are many threads available for Fleet management configuration. Please do some homework by searching those.
