How to print A4 letters from a Photosmart D7160?

I am trying to print a normal a4 letter (on white 80gsm photocopier paper) from my photomsmart D716O.
I put the paper in the pull-out paper tray but the message I get back is that there is no paper in the printer.
What am I doing wrong? Can this printer handle normal printing or is it just a photoprinter?

I understand that you were printing cards and only got the outside of the cards printed. I need to get some more information please. What program are you using to print the cards? What operating system are you running on your computer?

When i press a button from Form 6i, the report should print through printer.
I have done it by using report parameter DESTYPE Printer but problem is that when I press a button printer dialogue box appear and then I give command Print to printer, I don’t want to show Printer dialogue box.
I want when I press a button form Forms 6i , printer will print my report directly.
Please send me the solution of this problem.

If You are using Client server application then to passing to Add all Print Parameter in the Host Command.
Means Print command in unix to Host(lp.............) and Other Parameter to file name of the report to print.
If You not Use Client Server Application the Also Passing a Host Command in Button-Pressed Event and Run.

But they are only for Tablet.

How to print in colour from a MAC

Hi,
I am having trouble figuring out how to print in colour from my computer. It is only printing in black and white despite the ink being full and copying in color. Their is obviously a setting I can't fiqure out.

It is possible preset was created at one time and now the printer driver is set to print in grayscale. Let's reset the printing system and add the printer again. Please use the instructions below if you are unsure how to perform these steps;
Reset Printing System
Click the Apple icon (   ), and then click System Preferences.
In the Hardware section, click Print & Fax/Scan. The Print & Fax/Scan dialog box opens.
Right-click (or  Ctrl  +click) in the left panel, and then click Reset printing system…
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type the correct Name and Password.
Click OK to reset the printing system. The Print & Fax dialog box shows no printer selected
Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol.
When you add the printer, please ensure you are using the HP driver.
Select Add other Printer or Scanner
Select the printer you are adding and next to 'Use' you can the printer driver

How do you cut letters from a layer in Illustrator CS6 (so it leaves the letter shape but as a hole)

I tried to search through the questions yes and blah blah, I would rather want the answer so that any dummy would understand.
So once again, how can I erase/cut letters from a transparent image that I have, so the letters would be holes?
I'm just really tired of searching an answer that would actully work for me and I have to get this job done soon, so if you can help, I will come all the way up there and hug all the air out of you. Okay maybe not literally.. But pixelhugs.
I'm desperate, I know. This has been a headache for me for quite some time.

If you want the lettershapes to punch holes in the image so you can look through them, a simple way is to place the letters on top of the image, select both and in the Transparency palette flyout tick Make Opacity mask (set the Clip and Invert Mask to the combination that makes it work, both unticked if the Type is black); you may use live Type.

How to print BIP reports from Oracle Forms?

I have a question in regards to printing BIP reports from Oracle Forms... We are aiming for a server installation of BIP with integration to Oracle Forms using SSO to handle security. We use Forms built-in web.show_document to render and view the report in PDF/Excel etc... We would like to by pass the viewing and print some of these reports directly to the printer.
Any idea/suggestions how we can go about this?

via HTTP it's not possible to send a report directly to the printer. You had to go via the Scheduler, which is able to do that. With the WebService API you can call a report with the Scheduler and Execute Immediate.

Procedure

Here are the steps on how to print playlists in iTunes for Windows. The steps are labeled for iTunes 10 but will still work for iTunes 11.
You can print a list of the songs in your library or a selected playlist to use as a CD jewel case insert, or simply to have a song or album list.
To print a CD insert, or a song or album list:
Click Music (below Library), or select a playlist.
Choose File > Print.
Select a Print option.
Choose a theme from the Theme pop-up menu and click Print.To see a preview of a theme, click it.

- Go to t-code NACE.
- Select ME.
- Select output type/or add new output type and then processing routine and assign your form & program.
- go back and select condition record. Select your output type & then select WE and indicator 1 and assign the values here.
- in the same screen select commeunication tab and select your printer, print immediately indicator etc.
- Once post your document in MIGO then go into MB90, select your output type defined in above and then execute

Photoshop-how to print white letters on transparent background

I would like to print white letters on a transparent background. The color white is selected, but it doesn't print print. I have a logo with a circle and the letters are inside. I have tried this in both photoshop and photoshop elements.
Originally, I wanted a white circle with black letters. The black letters print, but not the circle. The circle is filled with pure white. Then I tried the inverse and the black letters printed and not the white circle. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

One thing more, in the event that you are considering offset lithography, the lithographer, on occasion, is asked to print white ink on colored paper stock. I have a html file which has some images (<img></img> tag ) and some static contents.This html is generated by a Servlet.Currenlty i am doing a browser print. I do not want the print dialog box to appear.
