How to print an undersized image so it appears bigger?

I have Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.1.3 for the Mac.  I have received a PDF (it's a budget for a proposed project) which prints with (a) huge left and right margins, and (b)  extremely small text in the non-margin areas.  If I zoom the image onscreen, it reads just fine.  I want to be able to print it so the hardcopy is also readable, but can't figure out how to.  I've cropped it; eliminated whitespace margins; etc., but hat just seems to affect the onscreen view, not the printed image.  Most of the page consists of a single table which internally has extra whitespace below each line of text.
And I've tried Page Scaling, but that seems to be intended for printing oversized images on regular paper, and I need the effective reverse (an undersized image on regular paper).  Thanks!

Why not just zoom into what you want printed - then PRINT and CURRENT VIEW?

  • How to print uspto patent images using Safari and Quicktime

    3/18/06
    Do you want to know how to print US patent images using Safari? Read on.
    When you access the "images" link of a specific patent on the www.uspto.gov/ website using Safari, the page you are viewing is only one small upper left tile of a huge patent image that is not sized to the screen. You can scroll and try to read the page but it's almost impossible. Try to print it out and you only print what's on the screen. Bummer.
    The fix:
    Place the cursor on the opened image (it may appear blank), hold down the CONTROL key on you keyboard and click on the image. Two instructions come up. Click on the "Save Image to the Desktop" instruction and a DImg.tiff file will be created on your desktop. Click on the .tiff file and it should open in the Preview program, then simply print out the image. Voila!!!!
    Click the yellow arrow in the left margin to access page 2 of the patent and repeat the previous instructions to create another .tiff file on your destop. Do every page and you'll have the patent available to print out one page at a time.
    You can then rename the files and create a folder for that specific patent so you can access it later without signing onto uspto site.
    It's odd that the ever compatible Apple does not provide seamless compatibility to view and print patent images on the US Patent and Trademark Office's website. Where would they be without protecting their own intellectal property? Let's hope the next version of Quicktime includes the appropriate ITU T.6 or CCITT Group 4 (G4) compression language.
    Even the "throw it out the Windows" operating system is up to speed on this issue for America's hard working inventors.
    Keep on inventing.

    from
        demo_customers;
    I am unable to have the image printed on the PDF report. Even when the P22_CUSTOMER_IMAGE is defined as session state item.
    Does someone knows how to print such image/BLOB in a PDF report?
    Thanks by advance.
    Kind Regards.

    Hi,
    Indeed, I would need a custom layout.
    Unfortunately, it seems (according to this white paper) not possible with the APEX listener only. I would need a third pary tool. A pity...
    For me strange, that I cannot generate such a report having images or pictures in a pre-definied report layout... Maybe a future enahancement for Oracle.
    Kind Regards.

  • How to print a monochromatic image in a colour other than black?

    I have an image in photoshop that  is currently black and white, but I would like to print in a monochromatic green, as in just #00ff00 colour; so that it prints in green and white. How do I edit the image so that it prints like this?

    Use your B&W image, inverted, in the mask channel of a Solid Color Layer with the specific colour that you require. Underneath that put a solid white background layer.
    Use linear blending (Ps default is gamma 2.2). In Edit > Color Settings, set RGB blending to 1.00.

  • How to print the mirror image of a pdf file?

    Hi,
    Does anyone know if it is possible to print the mirror image of a pdf file? I could have sworn I have done this before in an older version of Acrobat.
    I am currently working with Adobe Acrobat 8.0 Professional.
    Thank you,
    Tina

    I just tested this and it worked fine for me.
    When you select to print the cropped page, in the print dialog will be a thumbnail of what is about to be printed. Does this display just the cropped portion or the whole page?

  • How do you make an image or text, appear on every slide?

    How do you make an image appear on every slide?

    What part did you not understand?
    As Andrew said, open the Keynote file, go to the View Menu>Show Master Slides
    This is what you should see on the left hand slide of the window. The Master slides are at the top and the check mark goes by the Master Slide that is referenced on which ever slide you have selected in the Slides pane.
    Add to the Master slide the image or text that you would like to see on the slides that are made off of that master. You can see in the Title & Bullets master slide, I added the shape in the lower left hand corner and it was added to all the slides build off that master.
    If this still isn't clear, let us know where you are getting stuck and we will try to help.

  • How to print a mirror image using powerpoint from my macbook to hp printer

    I am making t-shirts and I can't get this image to reverse (print out as a mirror image, which I need for the photo transfer paper to work I can reverse part of the image using the rotation tool for "flip horizontal", but for some reason it doesn't work on all of it. Also, I'm using a macbook and when I go to print, under "paper tray/quality" I can actually see a box to check for mirror image, but it is in grey scale, so I can't select it.

    Hi,
    Do you have any other applications installed ... like Adobe Illustrator, Photo Shop ...
    Also, you can open the image in VIEW and rotating the image as you like.

  • How to print Barcode In image

    Hi All,
    Please let me know how can i do it IN OAF.
    I have take an image item and at runtime setting the proprerty setSource of that item.
    String aaa = "8600KHK";
    OAImageBean mImg = (OAImageBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("barCodeImage");
    mImg.setSource("/cgi-bin/barcode.cgi" + aaa);
    But it is showing nothing.
    Regards,
    Raj.

    Hi,
    First of all it should be a .gif image. It recognises .gif images as far as i know.
    Then set the source as
    String aaa = "8600KHK";
    OAImageBean mImg = (OAImageBean)webBean.findIndexedChildRecursive("barCodeImage");
    mImg.setSource(OAWebBeanConstants.APPS_MEDIA_DIRECTORY + "barcode.gif"+aaa);
    Place the .gif file in OA_MEDIA directory.
    Thanks,

  • How to print large jpeg image on multiple sheets of paper?

     I have aa Photosmart 8250 and I need to print a large jpeg photo of a wiring harness onto multiple sheets of letter size paper for clarity sake. I need the large image printed os say 8 sheets of paper in landscape mode so when you combine the sheets you have a large and accurate image. Can this be done under windows 7 64 bit? I seem to recall under XP with the HP software that you could do this, I need to do this now, under windows 7 64 bit if possible. Thanks in advance.

    You can use an alternate driver with the features you want.  Download the Officejet 8500 driver from HP here.  When the installer prompts you to connect the printer select the checkbox for unable to select the device.  After the driver has been installed click Start, Devices and Printers, right click on your Photosmart 8250 and select Printer Properties, Ports and find which port the 8250 is using.  Note this for later.  Next cancel this and click Add a Printer.  Select the same port as you found previously for the Photosmart 8250, Next, then choose HP and the HP Officejet Pro 8500.  Print a test page when you are done to verify the printer is working properly with the new driver.  You can then print to this instance of printer and select Poster Printing in the main page from 2x2 sheets up to 5x5 sheets.

  • Smartforms - How to print an image in backgroud ?

    Hello,
    I have to print some orders in development and quality system, so to avoid that some people can think that
    is a production order, I have to print also a big image in background (DEV for Development, QAS for Quality).
    Do you have some idea ? How to print a big image on background ?
    Tks,
    bye.

    Hi Roberto,
    To determine the logo dynamically, you need to click the traingular or arrow button which stays right beside 'NAME' where you select the backgroung picture.
    Once you select the arrow button, the F4 help will be removed and you can enter variable into that field.

  • Hp office jet 6500 how to print mirror images

    How do I create a mirror image for text  to print on a tshirt transfer paper?  I can do it with my old printer but I can't find the area were I would click Mirror Image for this printer.

    Hi @adamjoshme ,
    I understand that you want to know how to print a mirror image. I would like to help you out with this issue today.
    This feature might not be available with this model. You would have to check the printer preferences, in the Advanced section for Mirror Image and turn it on from there if it is available. I checked the manual and it didn't show this feature.
    If you don't have that option in the driver then use Paint, Under Rotate select Rotate 180 degree's and then under Rotate select flip horizontally.
    Hope this helps.
    Have a great day!
    Thank You.

  • How do I print a mirror image?  Where did the old functionality go?

    Within the last several months I was able to print a mirror image of my document to my HP DeskJet F4180 in high resolution. I don't know if it is the new HP drivers, or my new Snow Leopard OS but now I can' figure out how to do it again. I can grab a screen shot in and flip it in Preview but it ends up printing in low resolution.
    I have printed mirror images in the past from my PDF applciations and I think from Office 2008 (PowerPoint). I find no documents saved on my hard drive that come up saved as a reverse image so I suspect that I was using a printer feature not an application feature to print mirror images.
    Where did this functionality go?

    Found it!
    Use the check box marked Flip Image. Didn't is say mirror before?
