How to print documents what is on USB stick on HP8610?

I have documents that I put on a USB flash stick and would like to print some of them. After I highlite item and try to print it says I can only print with apps. What do I have to do?

Commentary
This mystery message is likely telling you to open the document using whatever application is necessary to view the document and print the document from that application.
Examples:
If the document is a Word document, that is, if the document suffix is .doc or .docx, then open the document using Office Word (or an equivalent) Editor. Once the document is open in Word, you can print the document.
If the document is a PDF file, open the file in Adobe Reader and print.
If the document is an html document, open that document in your favorite browser.

I have an IPad 2 and a Canon Pixma 8120 printer. The printer is wireless, but it does not support air print (or whatever it is called). Is there a way to print documents that I have on Pages, etc. Canon offers something for printing pictures, but I can't figure out how to print documents.

That is, I don't want to boot from the usb stick on my mac; I want to write an ISO to a usb stick that's plugged into my Macbook Pro (Mavericks), then carry the stick to a different machine (several discarded Windows boxes in fact), plug it in there, and watch it boot on that machine. I've done a bit of googling, but everything I find talks about making USB drives with content that can be booted on a Mac. What I'm wondering is if it's possible to write to use my Mac to write bootable USB gadgets that work on other machines that aren't running OSX software.
Anyone know if this is discussed anywhere? If not, what's the right forum to ask it on? And how do I ask it so that I don't get yet another explanation of how to make something that will boot on my Mac?
I have several linux ISOs waiting. Actually, I could do the job on one of several available linux boxes. But I'd like to do it on my portable laptop, which at the moment is this Macbook Pro.

I have a document that I opened in Photoshop and modified it with the clients spec's. Now I have to print this modified document. I saw the printout() method/function, but it displays the print dialog box. This has to be automated. So I want to just print to the printer.

You can do an advanced find on 'Notes' where 'Is Document' is Yes. You won't be able to see the actual attachment in the results obviously, but you can add information like file name etc and then open them up to see the actual document.

Can anybody help me find out what type of usb is fitted to our computers. we are about to buy an iPod for our son, he is useing a power mac g4 (agp graphic) & I have a Powerbook G4 titanium. but I cannot find out what is fitted any help would be appreciated. also If we need to fit some hardware are there any recomedations

Both machines have USB 1.1 ports built-in. No Power Mac G4 or Titanium PowerBook comes with built-in USB 2.0 ports; there are expansion cards which will add USB 2.0 ports to some machines.

I don't understand how to put the core files on usb stick

I read the instructions here http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Ins … _USB_stick but I am not sure how to do this I tried this way ( using cmd prompt on winxp x64) dd if=C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\My Documents\Torrents\archlinux-2008.06-core-x86_64.img=/dev/sd[F]
but I get an error saying that dd is an unrecognized command, I have also downloaded Flashnul but I am not sure how to use it if I type in anything I cannot execute it because as soon as I push the enter key Flashnul quits. so could someone explian to me how to do this please

I have not used flashnul in a while so IIRC first plug in your usb stick and type "flashnul -p" at a command prompt to get a list of devices. Then type "flashnul flash_device_number -L archlinux-2008.06-core-x86_64.img" to copy the img to the device.

Well Iguess flashnul isn't working properly because when I type in "flashnul -p" it just quits.
I installed Cygwin and have tried to install it that way but I was getting errors saying no such file or dir.
Well it ended up being that my usb stick was "f: I kept trying dd if=archlinux-2008.06-core-x86_64.img of=\\.\f:Kingston"and not "f: I kept trying dd if=archlinux-2008.06-core-x86_64.img of=\\.\f"
I am thinking that the The Cygwin Way
Make sure your cygwin installation contains the dd package.
Place your image file in your home directory, in my case it is:
C:\cygwin\home\John\
Run cygwin as administrator (required for cygwin to access hardware). To write to your USB drive use the following command:
dd if=image.img of=\\.\[x]:
where image.img is the path to the img file within the cygwin directory and \\.\[x]: is your USB device where x is the windows designated letter, in my case "\\.\d:".
Note: This will irrevocably delete all files on your USB stick, so make sure you don't have any important files on the stick before doing this.

Then, the problem becomes where I get this "USB Storage Support". Search in the NI site doesn't tell me much other than something related to LabVIEW Communications System Design Suite. Is that what I need? I am not sure if I have it. If it is not easily available, another option can be using a CompactFlash card as long as I know the file path to use. Thanks.

How to Print Document Numering In PLD

Hi,
I am creating a report for Goods Receipt PO . I need the PO no ( base doc no) along with its Document Numbering ie; the prefix and suffix that we define for the purchase order using Numbering type in Administration. I am getting the PO no in the PLD of the goods receipt but not the prefix and suffix.
Even if I am selecting the Document Numering series table and prefix string/suffix string in the PLD , its not printing anything...
Any idea how to get it done?..

To get document no for GRN Select GOODS Receipt Note Table and select the field Document No. To add Prefix and suffix you create two text fiedls. In that type whatever u want. Then you keep this fields separtely and using concat function you can link the fields. For ex You need no SIP0107 like this means use the concat function like this Concat(Field_123,Field_124,Field_125) . you make all the fields invisible and make visible the concat field only.

How to print "Document & Markups"

When using EPrint, I would like to be able to print the document and markups. For example:
We do inspections at our stores, and have the managers sign the form on our tablets. We then send the form to the Eprint printers. However, when we send the form to the printer, it prints the form, but not the signatures. When printing to a "normal" printer, you can change the setting from "Document" to "Document and Markups." Document and Markups printes the signatures. How can I get an Eprint printer to print the signature?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that you would like to learn if you can print the digital signatures on a form using ePrint.
I have included the Getting Started with ePrint document. One of the FAQs at the bottom of the document is titled “Are there any limitations when using ePrint?”. It indicates that currently ePrint does not support digitally signed documents.

How Do I know What Type of USB Port I Have?

How can I tell if the USB port on my computer is a USB 2.0 or a USB 1.1?

desktop > right-click My Computer > Manage > Device Manager
Scroll down to the bottom of the list for USB, it is alphabetical.
Click on the + sign, it will expand the list. My PC has 14.
Click on the first one, it should say Intel something.
Right-click > Properties > Driver tab
should be version 6 or greater, such as 6.0.0.1011
Click on the last one, it should say USB Root hub
Right-click > Properties > Driver tab
should be version 5 or greater, such as 5.1.2600.2180
