  • After installing latest OS update I can no longer print from my iPad to my HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer.  Any suggestions?

After installing latest OS 5.1 update I can no longer print to my HP Officejet Pro 8600 printer?   Suggestions?

Installing the new os may have tricked one of the three devices involved.  If it used to work, it will again.
Reboot the printer.   Reboot the router.  On the pad, general, reset, reset network connections.
Make sure all the devices are on the same wifi network.   Talk nice to it.

  • How to print lever arch spine labels on HP Officejet Pro 8600

how do you print level arch spine labels on HP Officejet Pro 8600?

SOTAP, sounds like you are having a dilemma printing these labels. First question, did these labels come with a program or CD that you use for printing? Most labels like those from Avery have a specialized program for formatting the labels for printing.
    Let me know!

  • How to print on envelopes C6/C5 with HP OfficeJet Pro 8600

With my printer HP Officejet Pro 8600 I want to print on envelopes C6/C5 (229 mm x 114mm or 9.0 inches x 4.5 inches).
The Officejet Pro 8600 support C5-envelopes and C6-envelopes but I could not find a comparable format C6/C5. Is it possible to make your own envelopes format and print on HP Officejet Pro 8600?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Grepolis,
    Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you would like to be able to print on  C6/C5 envelopes.
I will be happy to help you.
You could install the Deskjet 9800 as a generic driver which you would have different features available to you.
    Making custom size prints.
Depending what operating system you are using. Here are the steps for Windows 7.
On the computer, go to start, devices and printers, select add printer.
Follow the steps, select HP and Deskjet 9800 from the list.
Set this one as the default printer.
Try creating a custom size envelope now with the generic driver.
Please let me know if you are not using Windows 7 and you need different steps.

    No.
Printopia (running on your Mac) connects the iPad to your printer.

  • I have an MFC J410W Brother's printer, and I need instructions on how to print from my IPAD 4.

I need to know how to print from my IPAD 4 on my MFC J410W Brother's printer.

Printing from an iPad or iPhone
To print directly from an iPad you need an AirPrint - enabled printer on the same wireless network as the iPad. All AirPrint printers are wireless but not all wireless printers are AirPrint-enabled. Your Brother MFC-J410W is not an AirPrint printer.
If you do not have an AirPrint printer, a number of workarounds exist that enable the use of any printer you normally use, even older ones that may predate AirPrint by decades. Search for the following products:
    handyPrint (Mac only, donation-supported)
Printopia (Mac only, $19.95 with free trial)
These are utilities you install on the Mac you normally use for printing, enabling it to act as an AirPrint print server. The Mac must be "on" but may be asleep for them to work. The iPad needs nothing else, no iOS apps need to be installed and no configuration is necessary. If your computer can print, so can the iPad, using one of these utilities on your Mac.
Equivalent utilities may exist for PCs but I have no experience with them - I suggest https://www.collobos.com
You can also buy this standalone hardware print server, bypassing the need for a computer altogether:
    http://www.lantronix.com/it-management/xprintserver/xprintserver.html
Otherwise you will need to buy an AirPrint printer or multifunction device.
    The following are my recommendations
    AirPrint compatible Brother laser devices
    and
    AirPrint compatible Brother inkjet devices

  • How to print from an ipad

Does anyone knows how do I print from an ipad?  The screen on the ipad shows the message "looking for printer" but it does not recognize my Hp Wireless printer which is already configured to the same ISP. Then appears a message "No AirPrint Printers Found". I also restarted it just in case but still it won't recognize it.

Which hp printer do you have?  Below is the list of airprint printers.  Not all hp wireless are.
If your printer is on the list, then from the printer control panel, update the firmware.  Almost all the hps need that update to wrok airprint properly.
If your printer is not airprint, then check the app store for one af many workarounds... Print n share, printopia etc.  these need a pc running to support the process.

Printing from my IPad air to the office jet 6700 premium

    Hi,
The most straight forwad way to print from your ipad is to make sure that both devices and the printer are connected to the same wifi network. Once this is complete, you'll be able to print from within the apple software using the print option (this is done using apple's inbuilt airprint technology).
Alternatively, with the same wifi connections, you could download the HP eprint app and print from within the app. Once everything is connected to the same network, you'll see your printer from within the app and be able to print to it.
