How to print from iPad using my airport extreme
I have a New iPad and an iPhone 4 all connected to my Airport Extreme. My tower computer is a pc as is all of my laptops at this time. I have downloaded Bonjour Print Services to my pc laptops and they print wirelessly through the Airport Extreme using Bonjour Print Services. How do I print from my iPad since I am connected using the Airport Extreme and the printer is a HP7310 which is not an air printer. Please help!
Suggest that you try an App like Print Central to see if that will allow the iPad to print to your printer.
PrintCentral for iPad on the iTunes App Store
HP also is offering ePrint, which might help as well.

That printer does not support airprint. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356 for lists of Airprint capable printers.
You will have to print with one of the many print apps. Canon has some in the App Store.
There are many other print apps as well:
PrintCentral
Print n Share
etc.
Check the App Store. -

I attempt to use app to print from ipad through an hp app but doesn't work. Says can't find printer. Hpdeskjet4580
Hi Grandmasuzi,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you are unable to print to your Deskjet F4580 printer from your iPad using the HP ePrint mobile app.
I’m presuming that the printer is already connected to your wireless network. If it isn’t, please follow the steps in the Installing the Printer Software for a Wireless Network Connection document for your computer’s operating system. If you already have the computer setup with a USB cable connection, each operating system contains the steps to switch from a USB cable connection to a wireless connection.
I’ve included the How to Use Apple's AirPrint Over a Wireless Network document. Please follow the instructions in Step One listed in the section titled “What if a 'No AirPrint Printers Found' message displays on my Apple device?”. I know this isn’t the error you have but these are the steps I recommend to connect the iPad to your printer. If those steps don’t help, please follow the instructions for Step Two in the same section.

How to print from iPad to printer set up with airport extreme
I was able to connect my printer to the USB port on my airport extreme and I was able to print fom my iMac the printer is online and I am sharing the printer on the network. However from my iPad when I click share then choose printer it searches for the printer but does not see it so I am not able to print from my iPad first generation any help I can use all the support please
This tweak of OS X 10.6.x might help you: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2658720?threadID=2658720&tstart=0
I've been using it with AirPrint since OS X 10.6.5 to connect with a WiFi-connected Canon Pixma MP560 and a USB-connected HP LaserJet 1320. (Haven't tried it with OS X 10.7 Lion, and no plans to upgrade.)
Also, check the App Store for apps from your printer manufacturer.
Apps such as Printopia and others are highly recommended and allow printing to a variety of devices, but I have not tried it. -
How to print from iPad on hp photosmart c7250 all in one printer using wi fi?
I want to print from my iPad mini to a HP photosmartC7250 all in one printer using wi fi, please.
You need a third party printing app or an app that lets your computer act as the print server. Your printer is not an AirPrint printer from what I can see. You can double check here.
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
Printopia for the Mac or Fingerprint for Windows will let you use the computer as the print server.

How prevent printing from ipad to officejet pro 8600
How can i disable printing from my daughter's iPad to my OfficeJet Pro 8600? She is developmentally delayed and doesn't realize what she's doing, but she just blew through a brand new 950XL cartridge printing two-sided solid black images.
Hi,
The simplest approach might be to turn the wireless functionality off on the printer when your daughter is using the iPad.
When you need to print, switch it back on again. There should be an option on the printer panel to switch off wireless.

How to print from iPad not connected to network?
I'm building an HTML5 app packaged with Cordova, and I have a requirement to print from the app when the device (iPad 2, wifi only) is disconnected from a network.
As I understand things, I can't use an AirPort printer because that would require a subnet (i.e. a wifi connection).
The only other option I can think of is a bluetooth printer - but there don't appear to be (m)any options to integrate via Cordova without writing my own plugins... and I'm not a ObjC developer.
Can anyone think of creative options? This is a topic that might best be posted to the developers forum.
I would have to agree with Steven, however, I have never heard of an app that is able to access print services via bluetooth from an iOs device. Not saying it is not possible, but you would need a printer capable of accepting the signal via bluetooth as well. I suspect niether is a trivial problem to solve. -
How to print from ipad/iphone (printer=LPD)
Hi!
The printer is connected to the network. LPD/LPR.
I have done the setup in my mac book and it is okay to print!
But i would like to print from iphone/ipad sometimes.
The problem: is it possible? if yes, how to do it? It seems quite different since i can't add a printer in iphone as it is in Mac
Could soYes you can. All you have to do is to open the file then click the share button and choose print. However you have to make sure that the printer is connected to the same wifi as the ones in you phone/ipad. Plus, you can't save the printer to the phone, so you'll have to choose then and there. Furthermore, sometimes the IP address would just get messed up and thus, different IPs from the devices, would not print.

How to print from iPad via WiFi
Hi,
My printer is a HP Photosmart C4680 who's usb cable is connected to a small box or hp print server that connects wirelessly to my Linksys router. I tried Airprint but it didn't work because my printer is not in their list.
Then I tried HP iPrint but this doesn't work either because according to their instructions I have a USB printer that should be connected to an apple airport extreme/express.
So do I get this right, either I buy a new printer that is in the list of supported AirPrint printers
or I buy an apple airport extreme/express, get rid of my hp print server box and linksys router and attach my printer's usb cable to the airport extreme?
Another question is, how is apple airport extreme compared to linksys wrt610n? In other words, what will I loose and what will I gain?
Thanks in advanceAirPort extreme should indeed solve your problem.
If your Windows PC is on more often than not, you may find it more practical to look at a software solution like http://jaxov.com/2010/11/how-to-enable-airprint-service-on-windows/, this works well with me and in your case won't require a network overhaul by using a new router. -
