How csn I print the symbols for Apple modifier keys in a document?

The Apple modifier keys can be found in the Special Characters (control+command+Space) panel. Look for everything but caps lock and shift under the Technical Symbols category. The caps lock and shift key symbols are found under Arrows. Select the character, and then in the lower right under Font Variation, click on the symbol whose font name matches that in your document. Double-click the character to have it inserted into your document at the desired insertion point.
If you do not see Arrows and Technical Symbols in your Special Characters panel, click the gear icon in the top panel and add them.

Hi,
In This case your Printer should support the E-13B Charecters.
Create a ParaGraph with Font family as MICR_E.
use C for ON-US SYMBOL which is printed at the beginig and end of the Check Number
ie C&CHECK_NUMBER&C
then use A for TRANSIT NUMBER and
Use D for DASH SYMBOL in your check.
then while Printing the check the original check number will be printed .
Note: Your Printer should support the E-13B charecters

Now got the easy solution.
Goto smartforms-> text editor, -> then include charactrs-> displayable charactrs-> and now select Euro symbol...

Why are modifier key symbol descriptions not in the built-in OS X help file?

Forgive me if I missed it but I tried searching:
Shortcut keys
modifiers
modifier keys
keyboard shortcuts
shortcut symbols
modifier symbols
etc...
And could not see the following information in the built-in OS X help file:

I googled this and got the information straight away, but Im baffled as to why I dont see this in the help file. I would have thought this a very simple thing to include.

Because OS X is the same and the hardware is different, so one set of rules doens't apply to all hardware or to future changes Apple would like to make.

How to make modifier keys lockable? (like Caps Lock for Ctrl or Alt)

Playing around with the non-modal text editor ne, I found myself wondering if one could simulate a modal interface (like vim has) by having something like "Ctrl Lock" or "Alt Lock" (analogous to Caps Lock) and thus a "ctrl mode"/"alt mode". I would like to try this, but I am not sure how to make it happen.
My best guess is that this could be accomplished via XKB, but its documentation looks pretty intimidating. Is anyone here proficient in XKB and could point me in the right direction?
Other ideas:
– Is this something that a terminal emulator could do? Is there already one that can do it?
– Or a shell?
– For console applications, would it be possible to have a small wrapper that did nothing but intercept keyboard input and just pass everything through to the wrapped process, except that it would take into account the desired lockable modifier key? (I am thinking of tput here, but from my first search it appears that it doesn't do this sort of thing.)

@drcouzelis: "sticky keys" normally means that modifiers remain active only until the next keypress, while I want a way to lock them in active state for an arbitrary number of keypresses. But still, "sticky keys" was a worthwile input for the search engine.
The program xkbset, which can be used to set XKB options on the fly, has a function that comes very close to what I desire:
$ xkbset h
Usage: To set or unset various options:
xkbset <options>
where <options> may be all or any of (the '-' switches the feature off,
otherwise it is switched on):
To switch sticky keys on or off, and optionally set or reset:
() two keys pressed at the same time stops sticky keys;
() a modifier pressed twice will be locked:

I cannot select specific modiers to be affected with xkbset, but that would be fine with me. Sadly, it didn't completely work for me:
– It doesn't affect Alt at all for me.
– The effect seems to go away as soon as I change the window. (Maybe I need to invoke xkbset from .xinitrc for its effects to persist throughout the session? I will try that.)
So I went on and tried to configure XKB manually. I got up to a certain point without studying the documentation in-depth, but now I have landed on an error message that seems to suggest to me that I would have to get to a better understanding about the layout files before I could understand it. Here is what I did:
1. Got my current XKB configuration:
xkbcomp :0 output.xkb
2. Editet output.xkb to include the following at the end of the xkb_compatibility section:

The "Error" part is where I am currently stuck. It tells me that my changes were ignored (I no that it's about them because it goes away when I comment them out), but I don't yet understand why.

The requirement is that the SAPScript should print the currency symbol along with the currency code.
i.e. USD ($)
The currency can be any foreign currency.
Is there any table where i can get currency symbol or is there any way i can print this. I am working in 4.6C.

Even Ctrl+A,Ctrl+C,Ctrl+V also not working in chrome and Firefox.Complete modifier keys support is not observed in chrome and Firefox.Let me Know how to automate modifier keys actions in cross browser?

First,please make sure the Chrome and Firefox is supported by cross browser testing.
Latest version of Chrome and Firefox supported by cross browser testing are Chrome version 38.0.2125.111 and
Firefox 33.
I doubt whether Chrome and Firefox in cross browser testing don’t support automating modifier keys or there is anything wrong on it if you are using supported browser. Since this issue is related to the Extensions tool

I did not read the rather long post. If you wish to reinstall OS X 10.4, use your software install DVD. Backup is essential. To minimize your risk, I would use an archive and install:

In that way, you will have a fresh copy of OS X and your current settings will be preserved.
Incidentally, I do not agree that the printer problem is best solved by reinstalling OS X. I have had HP printers for sometime and, on one occasion, had difficulty after an upgrade. HP technical support walked me through uninstalling all traces of the HP driver and then reinstalling.

Pressing PRTSC button copies the screen shot of the display in the Systray.
Then you can use the CTRL + V key combiantion to past this printscreen in Word or other image editig software.
Does it work for you?
How the PRTSC is marked on the button? Is it marked grey?
If yes, then this means that you will need to press FN + PRTSC to print the screen

How do you change the address bar into showing the key symbol, when it only shows the lock symbol?

I want to save my user data to my google mail account.
The first time I typed them in, the password dialogue box appeard, but I clicked on something else so it disappeard and since then never showed again on the google mail paige. (It works perfectly normal on other paiges)
The mozilla support site said to click on the key symbol in the adress bar, but there is no key symbol only a lock symbol. On other websites both are shown but not on the google mail website.
What do I do to open the password dialogue box again? Is there another way than to click on the key symbol?
I use mozilla firefox 20.0 on windows 7.

When you go to a website and enter a username and password that haven't been saved, Firefox will ask if you want them remembered. This question appears in an arrow panel connected to the key icon on the address bar.
If you click on other things, or switch tabs, then the question will disappear. But as long as you remain on the same web page, the key icon will remain visible so you can bring it up again manually.

i want to modify key value in loop.
Rather than append from wa to another internal table is not possiable.

If you created a hashed table just to improve the MODIFY inside the loop, change your itab to a standard table and use field symbol:

table does not comprise all fields to test available features
