How to print on a printable CD c309a

My printer (Photosmart Premium 309a) came with the ability to print directly to a CD.  I used it several times.  However, after updating the software, and changing to Windows 7, with I select this option in the HP Solution Center, it says my printer does not support this feature.  When I called HP they said I had to buy 3rd party software, but gave me no support in finding that software.

    I have an HP C309a all in one Photosmart. When I go to print on a Printable CD. It only prints on 1/2 Right side of disk. Why?
    I am using PS23 and used the label format for making the copy I wanted to print on printable disk.

    HI,
    You should be able to just leave it on, it should have a sleep mode which it will enter after a while.

  • How to print onto a legal size paper

    I'm trying to print a document sent to me as an original PDF 8.5 x 16 document onto a legal size page (8.5 x 14).  I don't have the advanced skills necessary to print in Adobe beyond the basics, and don't have the time to take a course or read the confusing help instructions (e.g., "tiling", "scaling").  I'm hoping someone on this board can simply tell me how to print this document step-by-step.  I have Windows XP with Acrobat Pro 9.0
    Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

    Using AA9, these are the steps I just used to create a 8.5X14 page from another PDF (Note: any bookmarks and links will be lost and would have to be replaced):
    1. Opened the PDF in Acrobat.
    2. Select FILE>Print
    3. Select the Adobe PDF printer.
    4. Select printer properties.
    5. On Adobe PDF Settings tab, you may select the press (Press Quality) or print (High Quality Print) job options.
    6. On either of the other tabs select the Advanced button.
    7. Under Paper/Output>Paper Size, select Legal.
    8. OK back to the print menu and select Page Scaling=>Fit to Printable Area.
    9. OK to print -- select the file name and location, hopefully with successful results. (I checked the PDF I created from a Letter size and it was 8.5X14)

    Hello
    I know that Pages is using its own algorithm to resize pages when it put several of them on a single sheet.
    This is why I use this tip.
    I draw a rectangle whose size is supposed to be the final one.
    I give it a white background and a black border whose thickness is set to one point.
    For the tests I just insert three page breaks so that the document is a four pages one.
    I print it as is.
    Doing that, I may measure the printed rectangle.
    Of course, at first attempt it doesn't match the required size.
    It's easy to compute the required adjustments.
    When the correct factor is reached, it is easy to build the complete document so that it prints the correct size.
    Doing that I never got odd results but maybe it's because I am a lucky guy.
    Of course, disagreeing with one advice doesn't mean that I don't respect it.
    I respect your opinion, _on other matters too_

  • How to print pdf on a legal sized paper

    I can't seem to print pdf files on legal sized paper properly. They always shrink it down. I have tried going to "paper handling" and clicking "scale to fit paper size" to US Legal.
    On Copies and Pages I have to click "Fit to Printable Area" otherwise the document gets cut because the printable area is only 8 x 11.
    I guess what I'm trying to say is how do I increase the printable area?

    Hi amanyeah,
    Is it Legal size to start with?
    If it is not, then you'll need to Save as..., like a tiff or jpeg & resize it to 8.5"*14" in say GraphicConverter...
    http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/263
    Did you go to Page Setup and switch the Paper size to Legal?

  • How to print data

    Hi
    I am trying to printout text area data
    Please help me how to do this?
    and also give idea about how to print table data ?

    Here's a quick-and-dirty example of how to get something to print from Java. As you can see, the Prinatable interface defines a print() method. That print() is passed in a Graphics objects. That Graphics object is then used by the object you want to print to print itself to. In this example, I just dummied up a Canvas whos paint(Graphics) method just writes out a string. This same call to paint() from print might work for a Table.
    Of course this example is terribly rudimentary, but it does actually print (for me).
    import java.awt.print.*;
    import java.awt.*;
    public class Main
         public static void main(String[] args)

  • How to print the script in condensed mode

    Hi to all,
    Pls help me.
    How to print the script in condensed mode and particular window only print in the condensed mode.

    Hi,
    Hi
    It will remove the blank spaces in front of the variable
    and if you use the extension NO-GAPS
    It will remove all the blank spaces in the variable field.
    DATA: ws_val1 type char12.
    ws_val1 = ' 100 123'.
    Condense ws_val1.
    Write / ws_val1.
    Condense ws_val1 no-gaps.
    write / ws_val1.
    It will give output as
    100 123
    100123
    The CONDENSE statement deletes redundant spaces from a string:
    CONDENSE c NO-GAPS.
    This statement removes any leading blanks in the field c and replaces other sequences of blanks by exactly one blank. The result is a left-justified sequence of words, each separated by one blank. If the addition NO-GAPS is specified, all blanks are removed.
    Please check this link for sample code.
