How to print (on my printer) an iPhoto iPad created journal

I have created a series of great journals on my iPad with iPhoto. I now want to print (on my printer) each of the journal pages one by one from each journal. I know I cannot create an iPhoto photo book as I have done on my iMac. Thus this is the 2nd best option. I have shared the journals via iCloud and email.
I have tried various options to print these journal pages one of which is to view each page in Safari and try and print from there (no luck, it looses all the formating and most of the images).
Suggestions please. Its looking like the journals are intenede only as web pages and thats it. Dissapointing....
Bill...

I've since tried two options:
a) In Safari (where I can view the journal pages as they appear in iPhoto on the iPad), File, email page contents to myself. The contents look fine in the recieved email, but upon doing a print in mail, the print preview shows all the formatting and most images are gone ??
b) Using Grab, do a screen grab of the Safari window. With the captured window image, print at around 40% page size. This works but......
There must be a better way or app for that !!!!

Hi there, I'll try my best to answer your questions:

    1)  What do I need to do to enable the HP 6310xi to print wirlessly from my home or work wireless networks?  Will connecting a router to the Ethernet port enable wireless printing, for example?  Or, is there some other solution?  If so, exactly what is it?
If you have the printer already setup as a USB connection, remove the USB cable at this point and uninstall the printer software from the computer. Connect the printer to your wireless router with an ethernet cable and reinstall the software for the appropriate operating system from the driver download page . During the reinstallation be sure to select Through the network as the connection type when prompted. If you want to print from multiple computers on your network you'll need to install the driver selecting Through the network  on each of them. While the printer does not have wireless capability built in, setting up the printer this way will enable you to print from wireless enabled computers on the same network as the printer. Page 29 of the printer's user guide provides detailed instructions for setting up the printer as a network device.
    2)  I downloaded the HP Cloud printing app for the iPad Air from the Apple Apps store.  The idea is to try to print from the iPad Air to the HP 6310xi via a USB port, for example, eventually wirelessly if at all possible (see #1 above).  However, the app does not work at all.  The Apple people say it is supposed to work, but have no solutions, probably due to lack of technical expertise.
You cannot print from a mobile device (smartphone, tablet) to the printer via a USB port. To print from a mobile device you will need a WiFi capable printer. If you want to be able to print remotely from a mobile device to a printer i.e. when the device and printer are not connected to the same WiFi network, you will need a web enabled wireless printer. This link is to the current range of HP wireless printers, the majority of which are also web enabled (the ePrint logo will indicate this).
Hope this information is useful to you.

  • I have an MFC J410W Brother's printer, and I need instructions on how to print from my IPAD 4.

I need to know how to print from my IPAD 4 on my MFC J410W Brother's printer.

Printing from an iPad or iPhone
To print directly from an iPad you need an AirPrint - enabled printer on the same wireless network as the iPad. All AirPrint printers are wireless but not all wireless printers are AirPrint-enabled. Your Brother MFC-J410W is not an AirPrint printer.
If you do not have an AirPrint printer, a number of workarounds exist that enable the use of any printer you normally use, even older ones that may predate AirPrint by decades. Search for the following products:
    handyPrint (Mac only, donation-supported)
Printopia (Mac only, $19.95 with free trial)
These are utilities you install on the Mac you normally use for printing, enabling it to act as an AirPrint print server. The Mac must be "on" but may be asleep for them to work. The iPad needs nothing else, no iOS apps need to be installed and no configuration is necessary. If your computer can print, so can the iPad, using one of these utilities on your Mac.
Equivalent utilities may exist for PCs but I have no experience with them - I suggest https://www.collobos.com
You can also buy this standalone hardware print server, bypassing the need for a computer altogether:
    http://www.lantronix.com/it-management/xprintserver/xprintserver.html
Otherwise you will need to buy an AirPrint printer or multifunction device.
    The following are my recommendations
    AirPrint compatible Brother laser devices
    and
    AirPrint compatible Brother inkjet devices
Read the reviews and choose wisely.

  • How to print from an ipad

Does anyone knows how do I print from an ipad?  The screen on the ipad shows the message "looking for printer" but it does not recognize my Hp Wireless printer which is already configured to the same ISP. Then appears a message "No AirPrint Printers Found". I also restarted it just in case but still it won't recognize it.

Which hp printer do you have?  Below is the list of airprint printers.  Not all hp wireless are.
If your printer is on the list, then from the printer control panel, update the firmware.  Almost all the hps need that update to wrok airprint properly.
If your printer is not airprint, then check the app store for one af many workarounds... Print n share, printopia etc.  these need a pc running to support the process.
